Chapter 82 - Chapter 82

Tony Stark couldn't tell Pepper that his parents were still alive. Dr. Erik Selvig had said they were on the moon.

If he actually said that out loud, Pepper would definitely think he was drunk.

Likewise, Peter Parker couldn't tell Gwen that he was Spider-Man—not right now.

Late at night, on the rooftop of a building…

Sitting on the edge, Peter pulled out a box of eggs that Aunt May told him to bring home. His face was filled with regret.

This was the third time he had missed a date with Gwen.

Oh God… any other girlfriend would have dumped their boyfriend after being stood up three times. But Gwen, being considerate as she was, still had her limits.

Now she wouldn't even answer his calls.

Sigh…

It was all the bank robbers' fault. Couldn't they choose a different time to commit crimes?

He was clearly doing justice—being New York's friendly neighborhood Spider-Man—yet the NYPD still slapped him with the derogatory label of "vigilante."

Just as Peter was drowning in frustration, a sudden voice rang in his head:

[Spoiler System has been bound!]

[Host: Peter Parker]

[Age: 17]

[Identity: Spider-Man]

[Host, please enter the viewing room and watch the future clip!]

Startled, Peter dropped the box of eggs. Reacting quickly, he shot a web, wrapped the box, and pulled it back up.

Seeing the eggs still intact, he breathed a sigh of relief.

"System?" he asked cautiously.

Inside the Viewing Room

"Wow, we can finally watch content in the same theater!" Tony said, arms spread dramatically as the others appeared.

Natasha smirked. "Tony, how are you? Making space armor? Planning to fly to the moon?"

Tony blinked. "How did you know? Did you plant a bug in my bedroom?"

"If you did, don't let Pepper catch you," he added. "I don't mind, but she's shy."

Natasha chuckled. "No need for bugs. Your red eyes after talking with Dilis three days ago told me everything."

Before Tony could respond, another person entered the theater.

Tony and Steve exchanged glances—it was a very young Wanda, only about seventeen.

Tony leaned toward Steve and whispered, "This is the real Wanda. That other Wanda following Linen is way more mature."

Steve nodded and approached kindly. "You must be Wanda. Nice to meet you. I'm Steve Rogers. Natasha Romanoff and Nick Fury are over there, and this is—"

"Tony Stark," Tony inserted smoothly.

Wanda glared at him, resentment burning in her eyes.

"Huh?" Tony frowned. "Miss Wanda… this is our first meeting, right? Why are you looking at me like that? I don't recall doing anything to hurt you."

Wanda snorted coldly and ignored him, walking to the chair with her name.

Tony turned to Steve, confused. "What did I do?"

Steve shrugged. "Don't look at me."

Natasha quietly sat closer to Wanda.

Thor barged in loudly, arms open. "Friends! Long time no see!"

Tony rolled his eyes. "Finally here. Did you deal with your brother?"

Thor sighed. "He let go of the Spear of Eternal Power and fell into the cosmic turbulence. If I hadn't seen the future video, I would've thought he was dead."

"My mother has been so sad. I had to tell her Loki is alive, but I can't say how I know."

He rubbed his forehead. "She was raised by witches—of course she could tell I was hiding something. If it weren't for the system's rules, she would've tricked the truth out of me by now."

A sudden voice burst behind them—curious, excitable, and slightly panicked:

"Hi! Uh—hi everyone! Is this the theater? Are you all hosts too? Oh my God, the system can really see the future? If I know the future ahead of time, I can avoid so many problems—does anyone know who created this system? Why did it choose me? And also—"

A boy in a Spider-Man suit appeared, holding a box of eggs and talking nonstop.

Everyone paused, stunned.

[New member Peter Parker has joined the Viewing Room!]

Steve stepped forward. "Welcome. We're all hosts of the spoiler system. And yes—you're right. Knowing the future has helped us avoid many dangers. I'm Steve Rogers."

"Uh… Hello, Mr. Rogers. I'm Peter. Spider-Man."

Clearly, he didn't want to reveal his civilian identity.

Tony walked up. "I don't need an introduction. You definitely know who I am."

Peter blinked. "Sorry, sir… I really don't."

"…What?"

Tony froze, eyebrows twitching. "Kid, you're from America, right? You live in America?"

He stared dramatically.

"Oh my God… there are still people who don't know who I am?"

He threw up his hands. "If you're making a joke, it's not funny!"
