Aria said it with this soft, proud smile that made Marcus's chest tighten, "That's incredible," he said, moving toward her but stopping short of touching her because he knew she wanted to do it herself. "Last week it was barely five. How does it feel?"
"Like everything is on fire, but in a good way." She took another careful step, then another, and although her right leg dragged a little, it moved. "I'm getting there, aren't I?"
"You are. And at this pace, another month and you'll be walking without help."
"Another month," she repeated with a frown, "Another month stuck in this gorgeous hideout?"
Marcus looked at her. "We're making progress," he said, pulling out his phone. "That contact David told us about reached out again and sent detailed info about the shell companies, and everything matches when we check it."
"What kind of info?"
