Chapter 178 - Chapter 178: Three Against One

Tsunade slipped out of Jaeger's arms, cheeks burning with embarrassment.

She might have wanted this herself, but did that clueless little sister of hers have no sense of timing? There were already plenty of girls here who had known Jaeger longer than her—and shared far deeper bonds with him.

And in just that short hug, Tsunade could feel the jealous stares stabbing into her from the two Jinchūriki, Uzumaki Kushina and Nohara Rin.

Not to mention Kasumigaoka Utaha… the way she was smiling made Tsunade's skin crawl. That wasn't just a smile—it was the grin of someone already planning something wicked.

Tsunade knew Utaha wasn't malicious enough to do something truly heinous. But with her terrifying strength—enough to stand toe-to-toe with Madara Uchiha—Tsunade had no doubt Utaha could and would pull off all kinds of "indescribable" pranks. And the worst part? Tsunade would be powerless to resist.

"Ha! Interesting…"

A deep sneer rang out.

Uchiha Madara stepped forward, his sharp eyes gleaming. "Hashirama's granddaughter becoming Jaeger's woman… while Hashirama's grandson ends up as a girl. Hmph. Is the Senju bloodline about to vanish completely?"

"Who are you, old man?!"

Senju Nawaki—now a strikingly pretty girl—scowled at him. "Since when does the housework of the Senju clan concern you?"

"Hmph. I am Madara Uchiha! The lifelong rival of your grandfather Hashirama!"

Madara's eyes narrowed, his voice like ice. "As your elder, is it wrong for me to care about the reproduction of the Senju clan?"

"...Haa?" Nawaki rolled her eyes and turned toward her sister. "Oi, Sis, this uncle is saying he's Uchiha Madara. Isn't Madara supposed to be dead? …Eh?"

She trailed off, noticing Tsunade's grim expression.

"Sis… why do you look like that?"

Tsunade sighed, helpless. "…Because he really is Uchiha Madara. He's been resurrected—just like you—and he's younger, stronger than before. He's probably already surpassed Grandfather."

Nawaki's face froze. "…Hah? You've gotta be kidding me, right?"

"Hmph!"

Madara's glare sharpened. "If you weren't Hashirama's granddaughters, and if you hadn't latched yourselves onto Jaeger, I'd have already summoned my Susanoo and crushed you for your insolence!"

"Ehhhhh?!"

Nawaki squealed dramatically, clutching her hands together. "B-Brother-in-law! Save me, Brother-in-law!"

Even though she was obviously joking, her girlish form and pleading eyes made the act strangely… adorable.

(Hah, my acting skills really are top-notch!) Nawaki praised herself in silence.

Jaeger chuckled, clearly entertained. "Alright, Madara, enough. Don't get worked up over trivial things like offspring. If it bothers you that much, then fine—the first child Tsunade and I have can carry the Senju name."

"Wha—?!"

Madara's eyes widened. "You would go that far for her? Hmph. Hashirama would be pleased indeed, having you as his grandson-in-law."

The legendary Uchiha was stunned for a moment, unable to fully grasp Jaeger's casual words. For him—and for all shinobi of their era—bloodline and surname were everything. Their names weren't just family markers; they were honor, legacy, and power.

Even Madara himself, despite being betrayed and abandoned by his clan, had never once discarded the Uchiha name.

But Jaeger? To him, titles and surnames were meaningless. His power didn't come from bloodline or prestige—it was his own. Whether his child bore the name Nerona or Senju was all the same.

"M-Me… and Jaeger's child… taking the Senju name?"

Tsunade's heart skipped, her eyes widening in disbelief.

She hadn't expected it—hadn't dared to imagine it. Yet here was Jaeger, casually discarding his own lineage just to accommodate her.

Her cheeks flushed crimson, her pulse racing. She looked at him with a mixture of shyness, joy, and disbelief.

"…Jaeger…"

Unlike Uchiha Madara, who stayed cold and indifferent, Tsunade was shaken to her core by Jaeger's words.

In the shinobi world, men were always valued over women. A clan's worth was measured in heirs, and most kunoichi who weren't strong enough ended up reduced to little more than child-bearers—never respected, never remembered. The thought of a child carrying their surname was something almost no woman could even dream of.

And yet, with one simple sentence, Jaeger had shattered all of that. For Tsunade, it was like a lightning strike in her heart. In just a few words, he had surpassed every other man she had ever known—including Jiraiya.

When her thoughts wandered to him, her eyes flicked toward the middle-aged, white-haired man standing not far away. Jiraiya was still frozen, stunned by the sight of the resurrected dead. For Tsunade, however, there was only disappointment in that familiar figure.

Comparisons were cruel. Especially when feelings were involved.

Jiraiya—the man who spent his days in brothels, peeping, and scribbling smut under the excuse of "research." His strength was unremarkable, his looks worse, and his dignity long gone.

Jaeger, in contrast, was everything Jiraiya wasn't. He had resurrected her brother, saved her life more than once, and treated her with a kindness and warmth no one else ever had. He was strong beyond reason, elegant without arrogance—and, damn it, even more beautiful than most women.

Of course Tsunade had noticed the way Kushina, Konan, Rin, and even Kasumigaoka Utaha looked at Jaeger. But really, how could she blame them?

A man as powerful as a god, more handsome than a god, and gentler than any shinobi alive—of course women would fall for him. It would be strange if they didn't.

The problem was how fast everything was moving.

She hadn't even confessed her feelings to him yet! Their most intimate moment had only been a hug—and now Jaeger was already talking about their future child's surname?! Tsunade's face turned scarlet at the thought.

And then—

"As if things weren't chaotic enough—"

Uchiha Miyuki cut in with a mischievous smile.

"I want a child with Tsunade and His Highness Jaeger too! And both will carry the Uchiha name~!"

"…."

Madara's face went stone-cold. Was it too late to disown this woman from the Uchiha clan? Ah, but she was under Jaeger's protection now, and about to become the clan's leader herself. The irony made him grit his teeth.

Fine. Let her play the fool.

"I—I want Jaeger's child too!"

Nohara Rin's voice trembled with shyness, her face glowing red. "And I don't want them to take my surname… I want them to have Jaeger's!"

"Oi, that's cheating!"

Kushina immediately threw an arm around Rin's shoulder. "If you want Jaeger's kid, then I want one too! But mine will carry the Uzumaki name. I'll revive my clan with it!"

"…."

Jaeger pinched the bridge of his nose. "Do I look like a breeding pig to you? You girls should worry about growing up first."

"Hehe~"

A sly laugh echoed.

Angel Leng tilted her head with a teasing smile. "So it's fine if Tsunade asks, because she's a mature woman? If that's the case, I should qualify too. As your guardian angel, I've lived over ten thousand years—I can definitely bear children. In fact, Queen Keisha would love it if I brought one back for study."

"Study?"

Kasumigaoka Utaha's eyes narrowed dangerously. "That doesn't sound good. Don't tell me you angels want to use Jaeger's bloodline for experiments."

Angel Leng waved her hands quickly. "No, no, you've got it wrong! I mean research on the power of another world. Civilization advances through science and exploration. Besides, how could I ever do something so vile to my male god? Even Queen Keisha wouldn't dare insult me like that!"

She paused, then chuckled. "And honestly, at the rate Jaeger is growing, by the time he ever visits my world, no technology would even scratch him."

Suddenly, her eyes lit up. She leaned closer to Jaeger, voice filled with expectation.

"Male god… our mission doesn't start until tomorrow. That means we still have plenty of time to fight today, right?"

Jaeger blinked. "…There's time, sure. But wait—you don't mean that kind of fight, do you? You've been holding back for ten thousand years, and now you're addicted after finally becoming a young woman? Or are you seriously trying to get pregnant during this seven-day mission?"

"Wha—?! No!"

Angel Leng froze, then blurted out in disbelief. "I meant a real battle! Actual combat! Male god, your brain is way too dirty!"

"…."

Jaeger rubbed his forehead. "Fine. Then why don't you ask them how they interpreted what you just said?"

Angel Leng turned, scanning their faces. "…No way. There's no way everyone else's mind is as filthy as yours."

But as her gaze landed on Tsunade and Miyuki, her confidence cracked.

"Ah—sorry," Tsunade admitted awkwardly, her cheeks burning. "I really did think you meant… that. After all, you and Jaeger are boyfriend and girlfriend."

"I thought so too!" Miyuki chimed in with a wicked grin. "You literally said you'd give him a child. Of course we assumed you meant continuing from before."

"Hmph."

Utaha folded her arms, giving Jaeger a long, mocking look. "Don't blame Leng-san alone. With your reputation as the so-called 'World Nobleman,' what else would anyone think when they hear 'fight' with you? Especially woman, the meaning always gets twisted."

"What in the world…"

Listening to the girls' chatter, Angel Leng was left utterly speechless. She turned to Jaeger with exasperation.

"Male god, your reputation really is terrible, you know that?"

"Well… I don't see the problem."

Jaeger only chuckled. He didn't even try to deny it. As a proud, lustful celestial dragon, he had always openly admitted his love for beauty. To him, it was never something shameful.

"…I give up."

Angel Leng sighed, pressing her palm against her forehead. Her so-called "male idol" was truly beyond saving.

But then she thought back to the "hero" she had once admired in the Galaxy Force… and couldn't help but sneer. Compared to that pathetic loser, Jaeger might be shameless—but he was handsome, overwhelmingly strong, and actually responsible. That alone made him better than any other man she had ever known.

Besides… if she had to compete with Angel Yan for a male god, she was sure her own stood at a far higher level. The thought alone brought a smug smile to her lips.

"Then let's have a real fight, my god!"

Her battle aura surged. A blazing longsword flared to life in her right hand, a silver blade in her left. Her gem-colored eyes glowed like Jaeger's own god-slaying gaze. Behind her, wings of light unfolded, warping the air—wings capable of breaking 20% of light-speed.

She was unleashing her full strength, short of drawing upon Keisha's arsenal of god-killing weapons.

"So serious?"

Jaeger raised an eyebrow, half amused, half impressed. Then he smirked.

"Careful. If you hit me too hard and I drop dead, you'll be a widow forever."

"~Tch. Please. Even Uchiha Madara and Kasumigaoka Utaha couldn't kill you. As if I could."

Angel Leng curled her lips, confidence in her tone. "I've been gathering plenty of intel on everyone in this world these past few days. Now I just need your data, and Queen Keisha will be thrilled."

"'Just need mine'? That's not right."

Jaeger's grin widened. "You've already collected several billion samples of my cells alone, haven't you?"

"Wh—?!"

Angel Leng's face turned crimson. "Y-You can't just say that out loud in front of everyone, male god!"

Her opinion of his shamelessness dropped yet another level.

Before she could argue further—

"If you're going to fight, add me in as well."

Madara's voice cut across the room like a blade.

The legendary Uchiha's chakra erupted around him, surging like a storm. His eyes burned with desire as he locked onto Jaeger.

"The last time I tasted this power, you crushed me utterly. Now I stand at the edge of life and death, and only another battle against you will push me past my limits!"

Jaeger chuckled, spreading his arms. "Fine. I never turn away a challenge." He then turned toward the girls watching with wide eyes.

"Anyone else want to join in? This is a good chance to build some real combat experience. I don't mind fighting you all."

"Forget it!"

Kushina and Rin immediately shook their heads, almost in unison, like frightened children. The tailed beasts sealed inside them stayed silent, not daring to stir in Jaeger's presence—let alone risk provoking him in a fight.

Tsunade also didn't have any idea of fighting this battle at all, when another voice suddenly rang out.

"I'll fight."

Everyone turned in shock.

It was Jiraiya, who had been silent this whole time.

"Jiraiya?" Tsunade's eyes widened at her old teammate. "What does this have to do with you? You—"

"This is a matter between men. Women should stay out of it, Tsunade."

His words cut across hers, indifferent and dismissive.

The remark made several women present to look at him in surprise. Tsunade herself nearly laughed in anger.

"Are you insane?!"

Tsunade was no meek woman who would swallow such insults. Her voice cracked like a whip as she cursed him.

"You don't step into a battle like this unless you have a death wish! What right do you have to jump in? Or do you actually think you're strong enough not to be crushed instantly?!"

"…It doesn't matter if I die."

Jiraiya's voice was flat, heavy. His gaze lingered on Jaeger—this man who had stolen Tsunade's heart as easily as breathing, a man who radiated godhood.

He, Jiraiya, had spent decades pining for Tsunade without ever even holding her hand. And in the blink of an eye, Jaeger had taken everything.

He had lost the woman he loved.

He had lost his disciple, Minato—the brightest star, the "Child of Prophecy."

Even his lifelong search for salvation now seemed laughable.

After all, what was prophecy, when gods walked among men? For someone like Jaeger, saving the world would be nothing more than flicking a finger.

Jiraiya felt hollow, empty and tired.

"Please… let me join this battle!"

Ignoring Tsunade's fury and the sharp, disapproving stares of Angel Leng and Utaha, Jiraiya locked his eyes on Jaeger. They no longer held envy, only resignation.

"To witness the power of a god—even if I die, I will have no regrets."

Jaeger's lips curved into a cold smile.

"Good. Then all three of you—come at once."

He could see it clearly: Jiraiya had a death wish. And Jaeger had never liked him, not with how he lingered around Tsunade. If the fool wanted to throw his life away, Jaeger had no reason to refuse.

"Snort."

Angel Leng gave Jiraiya a glance filled with pity, then spread her wings of light. Space warped around her as she readied her silver blade.

"Shikai—Six Paths of Reincarnation!"

Madara's voice thundered, his Susanoo flaring into existence as he charged forward, refusing to be outdone.

And Jiraiya…

Slamming his palms against the ground, he summoned two massive toad sages in a puff of smoke. Sage marks spread across his face, his hair bristling white, his body swelling with power.

"Sorry to drag you into this, old friends!"

His voice was hoarse, but resolute. He stamped down, cracking the earth beneath his sandals.

"Fight with me, and help me challenge a god!" (T/N: I'm sorry but you are not HIM.)
