"This is... the Mera Mera no Mi?"
Jaeger looked at the flaming fruit in his hand, brows furrowed in curiosity. He glanced at Aizen, awaiting an explanation.
"I used the Hōgyoku to push her evolution toward the direction of Homo sapiens," Aizen said calmly. "But it failed. She's no longer a human, a Hollow, or even a Shinigami."
He smiled faintly, as if amused by his own creation. "If I had to describe her now... she's more like something out of myth. A flame spirit, or perhaps a primitive god—an elf born from fire."
He then offered the fruit to Jaeger with casual grace. The moment it touched Jaeger's hand, he felt the overwhelming surge of life within it—raw, burning, divine.
"You can wake her," Aizen said, tone almost fatherly. "Feed her your blood. The vitality in your body should be more than enough."
As Jaeger studied the fruit, Aizen continued, voice low and measured.
"Then, if you wish, give her the Hōgyoku shard you obtained from Urahara Kisuke. Let her continue devouring sunlight. Let her burn. If her potential is realized... she could become a miniature sun."
He paused, then chuckled lightly. "Of course, that's only my opinion. She's my gift to you, Mr. Jaeger. Whether you raise her, consume her, or destroy her—it's entirely your choice."
Jaeger smiled faintly. "I'll follow your advice. There's probably no one in the chat group who understands this kind of science better than you."
He didn't worry about betrayal. The chat group prevented members from harming one another, and even if it didn't, Jaeger was confident Aizen couldn't hurt him.
So, without hesitation, Jaeger pricked his finger. A single drop of his blood, glowing with terrifying vitality and the essence of the sun, fell onto the fruit.
"Mmm... What a warm scent..."
The fruit pulsed. Jaeger blinked. The voice—it came from the fruit itself. A girl's voice. Gentle, curious, and sweet.
A burst of radiant light erupted from the surface of the fruit. Flames surged, twisted, and took form—golden and divine.
Before Jaeger now stood a humanoid figure made entirely of living flame.
Her white skin shimmered with heat, bare feet hovering just above the ground.
Waist-length curls, delicate eyebrows, and her elegant dress were all woven from golden fire, dancing with every breath she took.
She was beautiful. Not in the mortal sense—but in the way only elemental beings could be. No wonder Aizen called her an elf. She felt like a creature born from starlight.
"Daddy!"
Before Jaeger could react, she rushed to him and threw her arms around his neck.
She was warm—blazing, actually. Jaeger estimated her body temperature hovered around 6,000 degrees. If anyone else had been in his place, they'd have turned to ash instantly.
"Daddy... where did you come from? And are you my daddy?"
Jaeger stiffened slightly. "Daddy?" he repeated.
He didn't hate it. In fact, her affection felt oddly natural—maybe because she was born from his blood.
Beautiful things always came with their own kind of privilege.
He looked at Aizen, raising an eyebrow. "What now?"
Aizen smiled. "Now you give her the Hōgyoku. Its power will guide her next evolution."
Jaeger blinked. "You're really handing her over?"
"I created her," Aizen said simply, "but it's your blood that woke her. That makes you more of a father than I ever was."
He continued thoughtfully, "Her body is a Logia—specifically, the Mera Mera no Mi. Combined with your sun-based Noble Phantasm and divine energy... she might truly become a sun. Her growth now depends entirely on your guidance."
Jaeger didn't respond immediately. He looked at the girl—flame curling around her shoulders like a protective shawl—and pulled her gently from his embrace.
From his pocket, he retrieved the Hōgyoku shard given to him by Urahara.
"Hold still," he said.
He pressed it against her chest. The gem dissolved into her like melting ice.
The moment it did, her temperature spiked—10,000 degrees, maybe more. The room filled with a radiant light that forced Jaeger to squint.
She was evolving.
Jaeger stared in awe. She wasn't just growing stronger—she was transforming into something divine. Something greater.
Could she really become a star? Even surpass the sun itself?
"Can you enter my body?"
The girl tilted her head. "Hmm? Your right eye?" she asked with a sweet smile. "Yes! Your energy feels warm. I like it!"
Without waiting, her body collapsed into fire again—then flowed forward like a river of golden light, merging into Jaeger's right eye.
BOOM—!!
The air trembled. Jaeger's vision blurred as her flame fused with his sun-infused Noble Phantasm: the Eye of Horus.
Then, something strange happened.
[Ding! Fusion opportunity detected! The Eye of Horus is resonating with solar energy. Please raise the fusion target's strength to initiate evolution.]
Jaeger's eyes widened. "No way..."
Without a word, he tore through space itself and vanished.
Back in Soul Society, the others were left speechless.
"Did... did he just tear space open and leave?" Yoruichi asked, eyes wide.
"Yep. Just like that," Yamamoto Mei muttered.
Yoruichi blinked. "He's a cheat character, isn't he?"
Mei laughed. "Oh, you haven't seen anything yet. He's still just getting started."
Her expression turned serious. "But where is he going in such a rush?"
First Division, Soul Society
As the space ripple faded, Yamamoto Genryūsai looked up from his tea, annoyed.
Jaeger appeared out of nowhere, like a storm entering a shrine.
"What now?" the old man muttered. "Why do I feel like this man keeps corrupting all the good girls I've trained?"
Jaeger smirked. "I think Mei turned out just fine. Better than Unohana's bloodlust or Saito's... let's call it 'eternal apathy.'"
Genryūsai's eyes narrowed. "Wait. Saito? You've met her too? But she's been retired for over a millennium…"
Jaeger shrugged. "She's a beautiful and caring woman. Same as Unohana. You really did a fine job raising your captains."
"Ah?!"
The old captain's eyes suddenly widened. His expression twisted, teeth clenched in disbelief.
"You brat—first Soi Fon and Yoruichi, and now you're even making moves on two women who are over two thousand years old?!"
Jaeger chuckled lazily, unfazed.
"Old woman, huh…? You really shouldn't let them hear that, Captain. You know how most women are about their age. Even powerhouses like Unohana and Saitō won't take that kindly."
He smirked, then leaned forward slightly, tone teasing.
"That said... doesn't this just make me Soul Society's future son-in-law? Isn't that what you've always wanted, old man?"
The words fell like a heavy stone, and the room went quiet.
Yamamoto Genryūsai Shigekuni, head captain of the Gotei 13, the strongest flame-type Shinigami in history—fell silent. The anger from earlier vanished, replaced by a solemn stillness.
Jaeger had hit the mark.
Yamamoto didn't trust him. Even after witnessing Jaeger's strength firsthand, even after acknowledging him as a friend to his granddaughter, he couldn't fully accept him.
Because Jaeger wasn't one of their own.
And yet… marriage had always been the oldest and simplest solution to such doubts.
"...You brat."
Yamamoto's expression twitched awkwardly, then he suddenly changed the subject.
"If you're not spending time with those girls... then what are you doing here?"
But mid-sentence, his words caught in his throat.
A beat passed.
Then his eyes narrowed in suspicion, gaze sharp as a blade.
"Don't even think about it!"
Jaeger raised a brow, confused.
"I haven't said anything yet."
But Yamamoto was already glaring at him like a hawk.
"I won't hand Mei over to you, no matter what! She's destined to inherit the Soul Society. She will never marry!"
Jaeger sighed, his face falling flat.
"...I didn't come here to propose marriage, you paranoid fossil."
"Huh? You didn't? Ahem... cough..."
Yamamoto awkwardly cleared his throat, suddenly looking older than usual.
"...Then why are you here?"
Jaeger's expression grew serious.
"I need your help. Specifically—your Bankai."
Yamamoto's eyes narrowed again.
"My Zanka no Tachi?"
"Exactly. Your fifteen-million-degree flame, combined with my Noble Phantasm, can help this child evolve faster."
Jaeger's voice softened at the end, but he was clearly determined. Inwardly, he was already annoyed—this old man really was allergic to trusting outsiders.
When I do end up with Mei... this entire Soul Society will basically be a wedding gift. Just wait, old man. Try crying about it then.
But now wasn't the time for banter. He only had a few days left before he would be forcibly pulled back into the pirate world. Every second counted.
"——!"
With a single thought, Jaeger summoned it.
A radiant flame elf appeared beside him, floating gently in the air. The temperature in the room surged instantly, skyrocketing to over 30,000 degrees within seconds.
Yamamoto's pupils contracted.
As a master of heat-type Zanpakutō, he could instantly see the true nature of the creature before him.
"This is…"
"A Sun Elf," Jaeger said calmly, gently patting the elf's head like one would a child.
"I need your flames. You, more than anyone, can help her reach her next evolution. As the one who wields the flames of the sun… isn't it tempting? To create a sun with your own hands?"
Yamamoto didn't respond right away.
He just stared at Jaeger, his voice suddenly low and grave.
"Jaeger… will you truly never harm Soul Society?"
Jaeger didn't answer immediately.
Instead, he smiled faintly.
"...That's hard to guarantee."
Yamamoto's jaw clenched slightly.
"But as long as Miss Mei is the future of Soul Society," Jaeger continued, "and she stands at its center—I swear I will never be its enemy."
Another pause.
Then…
"I see."
Yamamoto nodded. He knew full well that mere words could never bind someone of Jaeger's caliber. But he also knew love—especially the love Jaeger had for Mei—could move even the strongest hearts.
That was enough for now.
"Zheng—!"
With a flash of light, the cane in Yamamoto's hand transformed into a blazing blade. Zanka no Tachi.
Golden flames shimmered through the air.
"Very well," he said, stepping forward. "Let's see what this child of yours can become."
Seven Days Later
Jaeger's mission was nearing its end. He had less than one day before he would be forcibly returned to the pirate world.
[Chat Group]
Uchiha Miyuki: "What's going on with His Highness Jaeger? He's been gone for days!"
Uchiha Miyuki: "Wasn't he supposed to go to the Wandenreich with those two girls?"
Yamamoto Mei: "No. He's been spending all his time with my grandfather… not sure what they're up to."
Luo Hao: "Hah?! Jaeger left behind a bunch of beauties to hang out with an old man? The world really is ending."
Esdeath: "Which means he must've had something very important to take care of."
Jaeger: "Esdeath got it right. It was about the Mera Mera no Mi."
Uchiha Miyuki: "You don't mean… that Mera Mera no Mi?"
Jaeger: "Yep. Aizen's experiment was a success. [Picture] [Picture]"
The first image Jaeger sent was of the radiant flame elf—a Sun Elf.

Luo Hao: "Twenty million degrees stable temperature… yeah, I believe it if someone says she could become the sun god one day."
Uchiha Miyuki: "Hey! You're all missing the real point! Check the second image!"
Everyone opened the next image, revealing updated stats for the Eye of Horus, Jaeger's Noble Phantasm.
It was no longer just a tool—it had become a cosmic weapon.
