In the following week, Mylo is discharged from the hospital and moves in with Zeke.
Zeke's mother, Sandra welcomes Mylo with open arms.
"I'm happy that you are finally moving in with us. Zeke couldn't stop talking about how happy he was all day."
"Mom, I didn't do that," Zeke carries Mylo things inside with a big smile on his face.
"Look at that," Sandra teases Zeke even more, turning to Mylo, "I have to tell you, he is really happy to have a companion in this house. He hates my work so much because I'm mostly not around to keep him company."
"That is a lie!" Zeke deadpanned.
Mylo laughs softly, teasing Zeke even though it's the opposite, "What will you do without me, eh?"
Zeke gently hits Mylo on his shoulders, "Traitor!"
Sandra feels so happy to have Mylo with them. He looks like a good boy and cute too. She was so proud that her baby, Zeke, had finally found his own person, his best friend.
