Ryker watches the retreating image of Mylo, his fist clenched, his brows furrowed.
His gaze was hard on the boy's back, his nose flaring with anger.
"I knew that chicken was trouble immediately I saw him," Lenn bares his fangs, "Not only is he getting on your bad book, he is also trying to get close to Alpha Royce."
Ryker is silently thinking about what games fate is trying to play on him now.
How could this weak human boy be his fated mate? How could he be the Luna he needs?
Ryker turned around on that spot and went straight home.
He happened to arrive first before Royce was driving into the car garage in the Waning Villa.
He drops his helmet, getting off his bike. He ignores his reflection, putting out his biker gloves.
"Won't you say hi to your big brother?" Royce steps out of his car, throwing his backpack over his shoulder.
"Why do you always have to put up an attitude?"
Ryker halted on his steps.
"Alpha Danica and Alpha Vita are arriving tonight. Are you going to continue putting up that attitude in front of them?"
Ryker turned around and walks toward Royce, closing the gap between them, a spoken loatheness in his eyes.
"Didn't you agree to the union? What does that have to do with my attitude?" With this gap between them, Ryker gets a mild scent of fresh peony on Royce's clothes, which irritates something inside him even more.
Royce was getting too close to what was his.
"Stay out of my way, I don't care about what you and father are plotting," He forcefully push Royce backwards, rolling his eyes as he walked away.
He hated everything about his brother, not only are they identical, they also share the same scent gland and strong pheromones.
They share the same smell of amber oaks. They have the same blue eyes. When they were five years old no one could differentiate between the both of them on a regular day.
Not even their father. The man was having a hard time until he branded Ryker's left shoulder with a half moon symbol.

Mylo and Zeke are seated in their lecture hall for their last class of the day.
"Who wants to volunteer as the course representative for this academic session?" The professor asks, his hands resting on his waistband.
"If there is no one, then all of you are going to choose three people and then vote."
"I'm going to call out your name," Zeke teased Mylo, giggling softly.
"Don't even think about it," Mylo clenches his fist, blood draining out of his face.
Zeke laughs, feeling happy that they were finally having some peace.
"Have you chosen any club activity yet?" Zeke asks Mylo curiously, "The students' affairs will give out the forms soon and we will be given a day to fill the form and then return it."
Mylo shakes his head, already used to not belonging in any club or going to any school extracurricular activity.
As long as it wasn't contributing to his grades, he didn't really care.
"You can't refuse, it's compulsory here in Northern Lantern City. Your club activity performance is graded and you get a total score that will help in your grades. You can make your choice," Zeke counts with his fingers, "Debate Club, Art Club, Volunteer and hospital club. The sports club, swimming, chess or even a religious organization."
"None," Mylo answers tiredly, "I just want to be left alone."
"That sounds impossible," Zeke joins in; in clapping his hands for the volunteer, Anya.
She is the most beautiful girl among the new year students. According to the campus gossip group, she is turning 18 years old this weekend and her prominent parents are throwing her a birthday party.
She is also among the top students who graduated from Northern Lantern City High School. And she is on a scholarship for the University.
"Gracious God," Mylo claps his hands slowly, totally mesmerized by Anya's beauty.
She looks so gentle with a beautiful smile, slender nose, large eyes with plump looking lips.
Mylo swallows, realizing that he is staring at the girl too much, a little inappropriately.
"What?" Zeke is surprised by Mylo flushed cheeks.
"She is beautiful."
"She looks normal to me," Zeke rolls his eyes, "And a rich one."
Mylo places his hand on his chest, feeling his heart pound. Anya was really so beautiful and he knows he shouldn't look at her, he shouldn't think about anything about her.
In fact, he needed to keep his space and make sure she never noticed a loser like him.
"You are overreacting, there is nothing special about her," Zeke reasons with Mylo, who is already swooned away by Anya's beauty.
He was feeling annoyed so he changed the topic, "That… earlier with Alpha Royce, what are you going to do? He seems to be interested in you and he doesn't look like he is going to give up."
Mylo clutches the biro between his fingers tightly, his body tensing up at the mention of the Alpha.
That guy seriously makes his skin crawl in a hellish way. While the other guy cuts through his skin and gets under it.
"I don't know what you know about werewolves but our world is built by them. If the Alpha Twins want something, they get it. Even if Alpha Royce doesn't bully you, hit you… he looks like he wants to eat you."
"What do you mean by eat me? We can only eat one body, which is the body of Christ and also drink his blood when cleansed by his words."
Zeke gives Mylo a weird look.
"He won't stop pestering you, Mylo. Alpha Royce gives me intense creeps and you have to find a way to get him off your back. What else did Alpha Ryker say to you the other day, hmm?"
Mylo thinks, his brain scanning through yesterday's conversation with the Alpha, "He said I should beg him for protection, isn't that ridiculous?"
"That is what he says to everyone he bullies. When you beg him and he finally agrees to help you, you go through this initiation process of drinking water from the toilet with your head locked under the toilet seat."
"Did you…?"
"After that, no one would ever bully you throughout your stay in this school except him and his betas. That means you can stop Alpha Royce from approaching you. Do you think he is going to buy your excuse of not being gay?"
"I'm not making excuses, I don't like men and I'm not going to ask anyone for protection. God said he will protect the heavens and the earth, what more so his children and the people that worship him. He might succeed at bullying my body but not my mind."
"You don't understand, this is different…"
"Is this seat taken?" Anya asks, smiling softly at Mylo.
"Yes," Zeke whisked.
"No," Mylo answers at once, surprised that Zeke is saying yes when there is clearly an empty seat.
"Are you choosing a club for yourself," Anya asks Mylo, taking a seat at the other side of Mylo's seat, "Have you made a choice yet?"
"No…no not yet," Mylo stutters, feeling honored to talk to a beautiful girl like Anya.
"I'm Anya, what is yours?"
"Mylo."
"I'm Zeke, Mylo's best friend."
Anya smiled cheerfully, "I'm having a party at my house this weekend. If you come, we will get to talk more."
"No, we won't be attending," Zeke turns down the invite, "Mylo and I are studying together this weekend."
Mylo nudged Zeke with his elbow, "When did we agree to study together?"
A sheepish smile stretch on Mylo's lips as he batted his eyelashes, looking at Anya under them, "I will come… I have never been to a party before but I will come."
"Really?" Anya inquires happily, "Then I will make sure I make it memorable for you."
She gives Mylo a thumbs up, "See you then," She gets up and ran back to her seat, a shy smile burning her cheeks.
