"I believe that the black bacteria's fatality rate is ascending faster than the fabric of the universe can sustain," Nolan said, searching the eyes of the others for any confusion.
"Well, the real question is, what the derkus ass are we gonna do about all this crap?" Dalthrek spoke up, trying to get straight to the point without extra context.
"Well, we mustn't be hasty. Charging into the Void, guns-a-blazing, is not a strategic remedy. Even with my strength, we'd be outnumbered."
Everyone raised an eyebrow.
"How can strategy go that far?" Winston asked, not believing that Nolan was really serious.
"Yes. For we are utilizing Dalthrek and Throgond as decoys, so we can go straight to their leader. But there is something we need if we plan on dispatching Fenrir, of all beings," Nolan explained. Some of the others were still skeptical, but a little more trusting of Nolan's plan.
"There is a peculiar ore that resides within a mine on the planet Belemeth. It consists of ninety percent pure sunlight and was known as the only true weakness of the Sandeth. We must go to Belemeth and acquire the ore as soon as possible, for any delay might make us too late to stop the growth of the Void," Nolan added.
He looked each of them in the eye before speaking again.
"The fate of the universe rests on our very shoulders. But it takes a special person to truly fulfill that responsibility."
