Kreios and the man stumbled back, their foot getting caught on clustered rocks on the ground which resulted in both of them to fall flat into their bottoms.
They were in shock for a moment, unable to comprehend that Renzille pushed them.
It was the man who snapped out of his daze first, his eyebrows furrowing and lips parting to scream at her, but he froze when his eyes landed back on Renzille.
"My lord, are you a child of a noble?" Renzille asked, her eyes glued to the arrow in her grip.
The reason why she pushed the two of them aside was because she caught sight of the incoming arrow that was aimed at the man she saved, and thankfully, she acted just in time to catch it.
"No commoner would be chased down like this, unless it's a noble under a disguise." Renzille stated, her voice monotonous and cold.
