Jiraiya observed the whole situation in silence.

After hearing everything, even he felt that allowing the Uchiha to become a merchant clan would damage the village's morale.

It wasn't that he personally opposed the idea.

What disturbed him was the way it was happening.

Right now, it didn't look like a choice.

It looked like the Uchiha were being forced into it—cornered by injustice.

His gaze shifted toward the Third Hokage.

Hiruzen looked troubled, the weight of decades pressing down on his shoulders.

"Uchiha kid," Jiraiya finally spoke, his voice unusually restrained."The Third Hokage guarantees that nothing like this will happen. Can't you wait a little longer and see the results?"

He looked at Toyoma, trying to calm the storm.

Toyoma's expression didn't change.

"Sannin Jiraiya," he said calmly, "we Uchiha stopped believing in Hokages a long time ago."

A ripple spread.

"They never kept the promises made to us. I can remind each one of those promises—prove every single one of them. But doing so would only disgrace all the previous Hokages."

Jiraiya fell silent.

For the first time, he felt defeated—not because Toyoma was loud, but because he was prepared.

If he pushed further, he had no doubt this boy would expose things better left buried.

And Jiraiya did not want to turn the village into chaos.

"Toyoma," Minato spoke at last, his voice tense."The village is fighting three great villages at once. Can't the Uchiha think about the village, even a little?"

Toyoma turned to him.

"Minato-jōnin," he said, "we helped the Senju build this village. And after more than fifty years of thinking about the village… we finally understood something."

A faint smile appeared on his face.

"It was never worth it."

Minato stiffened."But how—"

"You are lucky," Toyoma interrupted smoothly.

"Not everyone gets to become engaged to the Uzumaki clan's princess by 'saving' her from a Cloud shinobi jōnin at young age — "as he looked him straight

"when her ANBU guards conveniently disappeared."

The hall froze.

"Childbirth?or A toilet break?" Toyoma tilted his head.

"Did you ever ask why they left her alone… or did you simply become the village's perfect anchor by accident?"

Shock spread like wildfire.

Civilians stared with renewed excitement—this was no longer politics; it was a scandal.

Hiruzen reacted instantly.

"Shut up, boy!" he snapped."Do not spread more rumours here!"

Toyoma turned his gaze back to him.

"Wow," he said lightly."That was a fast reaction."

"Then answer what we asked. Why waste time?"

The Third Hokage felt his heart climb into his throat.

Toyoma wasn't just arguing anymore—he was igniting rumours, one sentence at a time.

If this continued, the village itself would burn.

Homura stared at Toyoma with wide eyes, a chill crawling up his spine.

At this rate… he'll start telling everyone what we're wearing underneath, he thought.

If we don't stop him now.

Koharu and Danzō were no less shaken.

For the first time, the elders understood something clearly—

They could never win against this Uchiha in debate or accusations.

Every time they tried to stand on the village, morality, or duty, Toyoma trampled it and mocked the ground itself.

"He's more Nara than me," Shikaku muttered under his breath.

Inoichi heard him—and quietly agreed.

Minato, on the other hand, stood completely still.

Toyoma's words echoed endlessly in his mind.

His face had turned pale.

Jiraiya noticed immediately and felt a knot form in his chest as he looked at his student.

The Third Hokage finally spoke, his voice heavy.

"Those Uchiha who choose to stop serving as Konoha shinobi will no longer receive missions," Hiruzen said.

"The village will also stop providing subsidies to their families."

His eyes met Toyoma's.

This was not negotiation.

It was a surrender.

Hiruzen understood now—if he refused, rumours would flood the village.

His name would be cursed, his legacy shattered.

Homura and Koharu heard it too.

There was no other choice.

Danzō stepped forward, his visible eye narrowing.

"So then," he said smoothly,"they can no longer be part of the Guard Force either, correct?"

A thin smile appeared on his lips.

"The Guard Force is part of Konoha's shinobi system. Without it… how will they make a living?"

The hall went silent.

Every gaze turned toward Toyoma.

Toyoma looked at Danzō—and smiled.

"Well," he said calmly,"the Guard Force was never a village institution."

"It was an Uchiha right," he continued,"meant to ensure the village we helped build wouldn't be occupied by small clans that suck its blood."

His eyes sharpened.

"You know exactly who I'm referring to."

"So don't concern yourself with the Guard Force," Toyoma said lightly."We can leave it if we like."

Then his tone dropped.

"But first, clear the unpaid dues from previous years."

His smile vanished.

"If you can't do that," he said softly,"keep your mouth shut."

Danzō's expression darkened.

"Boy, don't—"

"Oy. Old coot."

The temperature in the room plummeted.

"You are the reason this situation exists,"

Toyoma said, his voice flat and emotionless.

"So don't display your authority in front of me."

"I came here fully prepared to kill you."

Shock rippled through the hall.

"But given the circumstances," Toyoma continued,"I am still restraining the Uchiha."

His killing intent spilled out—cold, sharp, undeniable.

"It would be better for you to crawl back into your rat hole," he finished,"and not appear in front of me again."

Silence followed.

No one dared to speak.

Even breathing felt dangerous.

Jiraiya watched the situation carefully.

As Toyoma spoke, he took a step toward Danzō, his killing intent flaring openly.

Instantly, the atmosphere changed.

ANBU tensed.

ROOT operatives shifted, hands hovering near their weapons.

They were ready.

Jiraiya moved without hesitation.

He stepped directly between Danzō and Toyoma, his body blocking the line of attack.

From Toyoma's killing intent alone, Jiraiya understood one thing clearly—

If this continued, the boy might actually attack Danzō.

Toyoma stopped.

He looked at Jiraiya.

Then he smiled.

"Relax," Toyoma said calmly."I won't kill him."

His smile widened slightly.

"If I wanted to," he continued,"no one here could stop me."

He glanced around the hall.

"If you doubt that," Toyoma added lightly,"you can ask everyone present."

Silence answered him.

Then Toyoma turned away from Danzō.

His gaze shifted to the gathered Uchiha, finally resting on the Grand Elder.

"So," he said evenly,"now that everything is clear—"

"Let's ask the Yamanaka clan something."

The moment he said those words—

Inoichi stiffened.

Shikaku's expression tightened.

Every instinct he had screamed a warning.

Shikaku spoke up, confusion mixed with unease.

"Toyoma," he said carefully,"haven't you already gotten the answers you wanted?"

"What else is there to discuss?"

Toyoma looked at him.

That smile was still there.

And for the first time in a long while—

Shikaku didn't like where this was going.

"What I actually want," Toyoma said slowly,"is to make a lesson for everyone present here in Konoha to witness."

His gaze swept across the hall.

"So that if any person—any individual, clan, or even a clan leader… or the village leader himself—ever thinks about hurting a child of the Uchiha clan," his voice lowered,"they will already know what will happen to them."

Toyoma paused.

For a moment, it looked as if he was genuinely thinking.

"That is why," he continued calmly,"I was considering what I should do."

Shikaku looked at Toyoma with a grim expression.

So did everyone else present.

No one spoke.

Because everyone understood one thing—

This was no longer a discussion about policy or politics.

It was a warning.

"So I got an idea," Toyoma said calmly."We have Yamanaka Kuroto here as the attacker."

He turned his gaze directly toward Kuroto.

"I don't care whether he was ordered or not."

Inoichi immediately looked at Toyoma, tension clear on his face.

"Toyoma," he said firmly,"the Yamanaka clan was also forced by Danzō to send our shinobi to ROOT. We complained about it."

As he spoke, his eyes shifted toward the Third Hokage.

Toyoma raised a hand slightly.

"Don't worry," he said evenly."I will not do anything to the Yamanaka clan."

Then his tone hardened.

"Only this person will be punished."

"He will become the lesson—for everyone."

Before anyone could react, Toyoma pushed Yamanaka Kuroto to the ground.

The sound echoed through the silent street.

Yamanaka Inoichi looked down at his cousin, concern flashing across his face.

No one moved.

"Everyone present here," Toyoma said coldly,"look at this person."

"He was ordered by some bastard to attack a descendant of someone who is currently fighting for this village."

His voice remained calm.

"So now, we Uchiha will do the same—to his family."

The hall froze.

"You will all witness one of two things," Toyoma continued."Either he will be attacked by his own family… or he will be the one who attacks his family."

"Only one of them will live."

His gaze swept across everyone present.

"And this," he said flatly,"will be the lesson for all of you."

"Spread rumours about it. Curse the Uchiha for doing something like this—I don't care."

Then his eyes hardened.

"But remember it. Etch it into your core."

"This is what happens when you follow orders without ever asking why."

When Toyoma finished speaking, grim expressions spread across every face.

No one had imagined something like this would happen.

From Jiraiya… to Minato… to the Third Hokage and the village elders—

All of them first looked at Yamanaka Kuroto.

Then—

They looked at Toyoma.

Hello to all readers ❤️, this is hear_tteeth here.

I'm planning to let Toyoma use his sixth summon, and before I lock it in, I'd like to hear your ideas.

You can suggest a power, an ability, or even an item—anything you think would fit the story well.

Criteria for the sixth summon:

It should not be overpowered

This story is about struggle, political power plays, and wit, not a mindless killing spree

It should help Toyoma and the clan, but still keep things balanced

Also, for friends who feel some chapters are short:

I write a minimum of around 1500 words per chapter, often more, not less.

If a chapter feels short, it's probably because of dialogue flow and pacing—and as a new writer, I see that as a good sign because it means you're staying engaged.

Lastly, thank you for reading this novel every day and supporting me. Your comments, ideas, and feedback genuinely help me improve.
