Since the chapters were shorter and also easier to produce, I kept drawing one Dragon Ball chapter after another. My skills also seem to be improving over time.
After another five nonstop hours of work, just before lunchtime, I took a break.
I managed to draw up to chapter 47.
The original Dragon Ball ends at chapter 153. I don't want to draw Dragon Ball Z after finishing this one—I'll probably work on another manga instead, something shorter but more impactful.
Shingeki no Kyojin might be a good choice, but I need to think it through.
I got up and washed my face. I still had dark circles under my eyes, and I felt quite tired. My arms felt heavy and worn out. I'd better take a break for a few hours and get back to work at night.
I left my room, and my mother was finishing lunch.
"What are we having for lunch today?"
"Rice, miso soup, and salmon."
"Hmmm, it smells great."
"I wanted to make sushi, but I didn't have time."
"Too busy with work?"
"Yes, exactly. The company keeps piling work on me."
"You should stop working."
"I've already said I'm not going to do that."
"You and Dad are both so stubborn." I gave a bitter smile. My mother turned to me and said,
"Don't keep talking about this, or I'll get irritated."
"You said yourself you wanted to retire."
"Not now! I'm still very young!" my mother said, then immediately placed a hand on her stomach. She looked unwell, so I walked over to her. "I feel nauseous," she said before running to the bathroom.
"Are you okay? Do you want me to get you some medicine? Should I call Dad?"
"It's fine, I'll feel better soon."
My mother soon came out of the bathroom as if nothing had happened.

I went back to my room and kept writing until nighttime. This time, I focused on the Tensura novel. I finished volume five and was already close to finishing volume six in just a few hours.
My typing speed is even faster now.
After carefully reviewing what I've been writing, I came to the conclusion that I'll write a total of 20 volumes of Tensura. The web novel has a long story, but it's very concise—it doesn't actually have that much content, aside from the extras.
I need to expand on certain parts, and that will add some extra pages.
That's why the number of volumes will be higher than the Overlord light novel.
When it was time to sleep, I opened my drawing app and made a new illustration. This time, it was Shuna, one of the characters I find most attractive in Slime. Yes, I like her design.
I decided to draw her in a bikini, posing sensually by the edge of a pool.
Once I finished the sketch, I got excited and kept drawing until the artwork was complete.
After finishing it, I posted it on my Twitter.

That was the caption I used. Seconds later, the post started getting a lot of likes, retweets, and comments. I liked a few comments before turning off my computer and going to bed.
And just like that, a few days passed.
I had already drawn up to chapter 65 of Dragon Ball, and I was also on volume 8 of Tensura.
But that's not the most important part.

Before I could reply, my mother came out of the bathroom still feeling unwell, so I took her to her room and stayed by her side the entire afternoon.
