Viona's POV
The slap I aimed at him with the envelope never landed. I grabbed the back of his suit collar and yanked him back into my office.
Before Reece could even meet my eyes, I shut the door and locked it.
"Whoa… whoa… dear, is this your answer? You want us back together this soon? I knew it."
I turned and shot him a sharp side-eye glare. He was grinning shamelessly, walking toward me with his arms wide open.
He needed help.
I smacked his hands away with the envelope in my grip.
"In your dreams." I snorted.
I ran a hand through my hair, and my eyes dropped to the floor.
What was I supposed to do with him? I didn't even know why my reflex dragged him back inside, all I had in my head was that I didn't want him bumping into Reece.
"You're full of surprises, Vio. I like you more this way. So feisty. But no matter how much you want me to stay, I can't today. My flight—"
"Shut up."
