~Xade's POV~
Everything should have worked well. Heck, it was worse. I had no idea why I was losing myself anytime she was around.
I watched her as she left with Raiden, already thinking of ways to get her when I felt cold eyes on me.
I swallowed, wondering who that presence belonged to and turned.
Standing right there was none other than Tasha.
My brows knitted at once when I saw her. Tasha brushed her hair back, letting it falling behind her as she shifted where she stood, pushing her left leg forward to accentuate the slit on her red office gown.
"What the heck are you doing here?"
Her smile brightened as she answered. "Working. From now on, Xade, you and I will work together."
Tasha's smile faltered when she saw my expression.
"I asked you a question," I said, already moving toward her.
"And I answered. If you think I am lying you can ask your…"
I did not let her finish. I moved swiftly. "Out. Now."
Her brows lifted, feigning innocence. "Xade…"
