The remaining two helicopters immediately climbed higher, trying to put as much distance between themselves and the Behemoths as possible.
But the other two giants had already begun moving. One crouched low before driving both hands into the earth. The ground cracked apart as it wrenched an enormous boulder free with brute force. Beside it, the third Behemoth grabbed another towering tree and ripped it from the ground with the same frightening ease.
The warning spread through every radio channel. "Incoming! Incoming!"
The two Behemoths launched their projectiles almost at the same time.
WHOOSH! WHOOSH! The massive boulder streaked through the air and slammed head-on into one of the helicopters.
BOOM! A massive fireball erupted across the night sky as the aircraft exploded instantly, leaving no chance for its crew to send a distress signal.
The last helicopter barely managed to avoid the incoming tree, but the enormous trunk clipped its tail rotor.
