Chapter 337 - Chapter 337 Hades: I Hold the Advantage

Dragon Eater Samael had not been born naturally; he had been created by the God of the Bible.

After the God of the Bible died—so everyone thought—Hades had played the part of a thief, and now that he knew she was alive he was naturally uneasy.

After all, this thing was a ticking time-bomb.

Powerful indeed, but it was only a matter of time before the God of the Bible noticed Samael was missing.

Once she picked up even the faintest clue about him… no, she would definitely come to make trouble for him.

Though Chief Death God Pluto's analysis was sound, the opponent he faced was Heaven with the God of the Bible present.

As long as he left no trace of Samael, even the God of the Bible would not act rashly.

There is an old Eastern saying: preparedness averts peril.

For now, Hades had no wish to clash with the God of the Bible.

A starved camel is still bigger than a horse—especially when the camel isn't even dead.

Of course, taking precautions did not mean Hades feared the God of the Bible.

Back when the God of the Bible still lived, gossipers had ranked her first in the world.

As one of the chief gods of greek mythology, Hades was naturally unconvinced.

What he dreaded was being caught with evidence, not an actual fight with the God of the Bible.

After all, given the chance, Hades would love to see for himself whether divine might truly matched its legend.

And he had every right to be confident.

The God of the Bible might be the strongest Heavenly God.

But in the Underworld there is no Heaven.

Moreover, having only just reappeared in such a high-profile manner, she surely had countless matters still unresolved.

"Keep sending more men, and make certain the Artificial Transcendent research facility built in the deepest part of the Frozen Hell remains undiscovered—as long as it stays hidden, we're safe."

As important as Samael was Li Zevim's hereditary demon research.

Li Zevim, purely for amusement, squeezed the last shred of value from his mother to satisfy himself.

Hades, however, was not like that madman Li Zevim.

What he wanted was the strongest army.

On hearing Li Zevim brag that he could mass-produce Artificial Transcendents, Hades had agreed at once.

"Yes, Lord Hades!"

Chief Death God Pluto accepted the urgent mission.

But before he could leave the chamber, a voice that startled everyone echoed before Hades.

"For one of the chief gods of Greece to conduct such inhumane research behind the scenes…"

The instant the words fell,

Hades reacted first.

A vast surge of Divine Power instantly erupted around him, enveloping the two figures that had appeared.

An ordinary being would have been crushed to dust in that moment.

Rosen, however, remained completely unaffected.

"Who are you people?!"

Hades rose, the eerie green flames within his skeletal form flickering wildly.

"Weren't you just talking about me?"

Rosen said with a faint smile.

Hearing this, Hades suddenly realized, but then a trace of horror appeared on his face.

The Underworld was clearly the domain of him, the Death God Hades, yet he was acting so disgracefully in front of an outsider.

Although Hades had never truly met the God of the Bible, the power radiating from Rosen was unmistakably real.

The instant he realized it, Hades finally reacted.

"Y… You are the God of the Bible?"

Rosen gave a slight nod.

Hearing the confirmation from the God of the Bible himself, Hades's heart lurched like a roller-coaster.

"In that case, shouldn't you offer an explanation? I don't recall inviting the God of the Bible to my banquet."

Because the Underworld was his home ground, Hades felt no fear toward Rosen.

So what if it's the God of the Bible?

This is the Underworld, never Heaven.

"Noisy."

Knowing how the plot unfolded, Rosen had no intention of negotiating with Hades.

Vast Divine Power instantly wrapped the entire Underworld.

The whole Underworld shook violently.

At once, every Death God in the Underworld sensed the arrival of a certain existence.

Though they couldn't see the radiant Holy Light, the Death Gods still clearly perceived the presence of that great being.

Back to the matter at hand.

After Rosen struck, Hades counter-attacked less than a second later.

Yet Rosen's power far surpassed Hades's; to him, wasting another word on this uncooperative king was wasting life itself.

Thus, after merely a few exchanges, Hades was trampled beneath Rosen's foot, who looked down at him from above.
