the silent editor guide ■■

Hello my fellow reader.

this is just a chapter where you can go back to remember what some things are, all of these will be introduced in the story slowly as chapter goes by, if its your first time reading this novel, you can skip this part.

-----

invocation:

An Invocation is an ability or power that manifests from one's soul.

Invocations can be earned by slaying creatures of Hell and absorbing their soul essence.Using an Invocation consumes Soul Energy, excessive use leads to Corruption and you can hold up to 3 invocation.

Manifestation:

while human have invocation, creatures in hell have Manifestation, they're the same as invocation but instead most creature has gotten they're Manifestation, when they were born/created, they can be given a Manifestation, while human can have 3 invocation as the limits but creatures in hell only can have 1 Manifestation. but unlike human who needs soul energy to activate theirs, Manifestation don't need any soul energy and the creature can use then whenever they want.

achievement:

A achievement is a special attribute granted by the System when one achieves extraordinary feats or fulfills hidden conditions.

contract:

A Contract is a binding agreement between two sentient beings, enforced by the System.Contracts have to be forged willingly

The System witnesses all pacts, ensuring that no Contract can be broken without consequence.

inventory:

A dimensional storage space accessible through the System.

It allows the user to store, retrieve, and organize physical objects, materials, or souls without carrying them manually.

The Inventory preserves all stored items in stasis meaning time does not affect them (food won't rot, blood won't dry, etc.).

The total storage capacity expands as the user's Soul Energy or System Rank increases.

Reclamation:

Reclamation is a core function of the System that activates upon the defeat or destruction of a creature within Hell.

When a being dies, its physical form and soul energy begin to collapse. The System then performs a Reclamation the process of gathering remnants of power, fragments of the soul, or material essence left behind.

Depending on the creature's strength, alignment, and how it died, the Reclamation may yield different rewards: weapons, relics, materials.

soul energy:

Soul Energy is the essence of life and will, the raw spiritual force that sustains all sentient beings within Hell.

It represents the strength, vitality, and purity (or corruption) of a soul.

Soul Energy acts as both fuel and currency within the System.

soul decay rate:

The Soul Decay Rate measures how quickly a being's Soul Energy deteriorates over time due to overuse, corruption, or damage.

It represents the inevitable erosion of one's soul in Hell's environment.

Soul Overflow:

occurs when a being's Soul Energy exceeds the natural limit of their vessel or Rank.

Personality:

reflects the mental and spiritual integrity of one's soul.

The System observes and adapts to its user's behavior, reshaping its tone and responses accordingly.

ranking for sinners in hell:

• Sinner

The starting point for all who fall into Hell.

A Sinner is powerless, fragile, and barely able to defend themselves against Hell's creatures. Their only path forward is to fight and devour the souls of others.

• Condemned

Earned by slaying several Hellhounds and absorbing their soul energy.

The Condemned gain a significant boost to physical strength and an increased Soul Energy capacity, marking the first step toward true power.

• Tormentor

Granted to those who have slaughtered countless Hellborn.

Tormentors possess bodies twisted by energy and cruelty, capable of immense destruction.

Their Soul Energy capacity and combat power increase dramatically compared to Condemned.

• Wraithlord

Those who have hunted and devoured numerous Archfiends ascend to this rank.

A Wraithlord's strength borders on the monstrous they can wield the abilities of the Archfiends they've slain, and their Soul Energy reserves grow massively.

• Hellbringer

A title reserved for humans who have slain an Ars Goetia, one of the demonic nobility of Hell.

Hellbringers inherit fragments of their fallen prey's infernal powers, achieving an almost unholy strength.

Their Soul Energy cap expands beyond mortal limits, making them feared even by demons.

• Abyssal

Granted only to those who have formed a contract with an Ars Goetia or a Floor Sovereign.

Their Soul Energy cap increase by exponentially, and their strength becomes catastrophic.

• Floor Sovereign

A rare and final evolution.

Achieved only by defeating a Floor Sovereign and choosing to remain behind instead of ascending.

The new Sovereign inherits the floor's authority and has their power multiplied threefold.

They become both ruler and prisoner — the eternal guardian of their Hell floor, and their Soul Energy cap is infinite meaning they can use their power withought limit.

-----

ranking for hell creature:

• imps

imps are creature of hell that has no sense or mind whatsoever, and when you kill them you don't get anything.

• hellhound

they're low tier predator, but they still poses a threat and when you kill them you have a chance to get their invocation.

hellborn: they're strong monster, creature who have this rank usually have slain mutiple other hellhound. They also have a chance to get a special invocation that only they can have.

archfiend: they're sentient and extremly powerfull, the only way for a creature in hell to get this ranking, is to rule any size of domain.

ars goetia: they're also sentient and are the nobility in hell since they're created by the floor sovereign.

floor sovereign: the most powerful being in each floor and they're the boss of each floor too, killing them could grant a special invocation.

----

hell periods:

Sabah

Sabah is the period when the Crimson Sun awakens and emits its faint, eerie glow across the hell floors.

Although far dimmer and redder than real sunlight, Sabah is the only time most regions of Hell are even partially illuminated.

Layl

Layl begins the moment the Crimson Sun loses its energy and extinguishes plunging the hell floor into complete darkness.
