"Redan? The Light Dragon?" the Scrivener Captain's eyes lit up. "You really know the reason why these monsters are going crazy. Can you tell me? I believe there is strength in numbers. With us to help you, it will be easier to solve this matter."
"The Frenzy Virus is a natural phenomenon," Zhang explained. "You can understand it as a condensation of people's negative emotions. To solve the Frenzy, you must find the Light Dragon. Otherwise, there will only be more and more frenzied monsters. You will never be able to kill them all, because the source has not been solved."
"So that's it. People's negative emotions..." the captain nodded, a flicker of understanding in her eyes.
"Come back," Zhang said, recalling all his Pokémon except for the Azure Rathalos. The hunters behind the captain visibly relaxed.
"I will do my best to help you find this Redan and this Light Dragon," the captain said. "But how do I contact you?"
"I'll come to you every 10 days. If you find something, just let me know then," Zhang replied with a faint smile. "You are a big celebrity. It's easy for me to find you. I, on the other hand, am an unknown person venturing around in the wild. It would be impossible for you to find me."
"Okay, so be it. It's a little stupid, but it's effective," the captain agreed. "I am usually in the city of Gildegaran. You can come to the Scriveners' office to find me. Okay, let's go." She beckoned to her hunters, and they strode away.
After they had left, Avinia came over to Zhang, her face full of curiosity. "How can you have so many monsters? They're so powerful. Can you teach me? By the way, what's your name? I still don't know."
"My name is Zhang Tian," he replied softly. "As for why I was able to subdue so many monsters, it is because of my talent. I can't teach it to others." It was true. He couldn't help her. He relied on the system. Monsters were wild and difficult to train. Riders were able to tame monsters because they raised them from eggs, forming a bond like that of family. Most Riders could only raise one.
"You can't teach it? It's just a talent? That's a pity," Avinia said, a little disappointed.
"Avinia, do you know the location of the other Kinship Ores? I think they must have been eroded by the Frenzy as well," Zhang asked.
"I don't know. If I did, I would have gone to purify them. It took me months just to find this one," she replied, shaking her head.
"That's a pity," Zhang said. "What are you going to do next? Do you want to come with me to find the location of the other ores?"
"I'm sorry, I'm a little busy right now," Zhang said with an apologetic look. "In ten days, I'll go to Gildegaran. You can wait for me there, and then I'll go with you to find the other ores. I think you should work with the Scriveners. As they say, there is strength in numbers. You are only one person, but they can command thousands of hunters. With their help, you can find the other ores much faster."
He planned to evolve his Odogaron into a Ebony Odogaron and his Apex Arzuros into a Bloodbath Diablos, and then he would go challenge the remaining gyms. He was very busy. It would take months to find the other six ores.
"Busy? Okay. We'll see you in Gildegaran in ten days," Avinia said with a smile.
"Well, so be it. Avinia, see you in 10 days," Zhang nodded, waving goodbye. "Let's go, Kuro." He sat on his Azure Rathalos and flew off.
I've never heard of a Rider who can control so many monsters. He's really mysterious, Avinia thought, a little distracted as she watched him fly away. Her face turned a little red.
After flying out of the cave, Zhang opened the Glory Shop, intending to buy two gift packs.

[Hint: Because of the guarantee rules, you will only draw the Mega Stones of the monsters you own.]
Excellent, Zhang thought. He wouldn't have to worry about drawing a useless stone.
[Because this is your first time purchasing this pack, you get a Keystone! It has been put into your space backpack!]
[You get the Redhelm Arzuros Mega Stone! It has been put into your space backpack!]
"The Redhelm Arzuros Mega Stone?" Zhang's brow furrowed slightly. "My luck is not bad. I hope to get a good one next time." He purchased another pack.

[Monster Mega Stone Pack Opening...]
[You get the Tigrex Mega Stone! It has been put into your space backpack!]
"Tigrex, not bad, not bad," Zhang smiled. The Tigrex was one of his main Pokémon. Mega Evolution would make it even stronger.
"Azure Rathalos, let's go down," he commanded, landing on the ground. "Come out, Redhelm Arzuros."
"Roar," the Arzuros said, looking around, confused.
"Redhelm, this is for you," Zhang said, handing it the Mega Stone. The Arzuros took the "Leftovers" from its arm armor and replaced it with the blood-red stone.
"Are you ready? Let's do it! Mega Evolve!" Zhang held the Keystone high. A dazzling white light connected him to his monster, and it instantly transformed. A thick layer of red carapace appeared under its fur, and it grew to a length of 10 meters.

"Good, good," Zhang nodded in satisfaction. He recalled the Arzuros and released his Tigrex. "Tigrex, let's try it too." The Tigrex swallowed the stone, then spat out its Dragon Fang. "Tigrex, Mega Evolve!"
"Roar!" The Tigrex's limbs became thicker, its wings grew smaller, and its body grew to a terrifying 45 meters.

"Yes, very good," Zhang said, satisfied. "I wonder what the Seregios will look like after it Mega Evolves?" He put away the Tigrex and the Rathalos. "Kuro, let's continue our adventure."
He opened the panel again and selected the evolution for his Odogaron: the Ebony Odogaron, a subspecies on the same level as the Tigrex.

Zhang appeared in a valley. "The Rotten Vale of the New World. I didn't expect to come back here again. How strange," he thought, recognizing the place where he had first caught the Odogaron.
"Sulfur Slashing Dragon?" he mused, looking at his new hunting target. It was a subspecies of the Glavenus, unique to the Rotten Vale. It was another Elite Four-level monster.
Ten minutes later, he found it: a 34-meter-long, yellowish-green Glavenus, its tail covered in dangerous sulfur crystals. It was slowly tearing apart the corpse of an Odogaron.
"Roar," the Acidic Glavenus sniffed the air. It smelled blood. It knew the visitor was dangerous.
"Found again. No chance for a sneak attack," Zhang said, walking out from his hiding place.
"Master Zhang, you have a strong smell of blood. You should have taken a shower before venturing out," Kuro said.
"It doesn't matter. We couldn't have snuck up on it anyway. These monsters have too strong a sense of danger, like a danger-perception radar," Zhang said, drawing his greatsword. "Kuro, let's go!"
"Roar!" The Glavenus saw them coming, but it didn't underestimate them because of their small size. It was a careful monster. It put its tail to its teeth and began to grind it, a "Rigid Blade Grind" that would make its tail sharper and lighter.
When Zhang was only 100 meters away, the Glavenus moved. Its huge tail swung out like an enormous sword.
"Finally," Zhang thought. "It's you I was waiting for." He had not used his Sakura Aerial Blade Slash right away, waiting for the Glavenus to strike first. "Water Moon Posture!" he cried, and his two Wirebugs created a net of light in front of him.
BOOM!
The moment the Glavenus's tail struck the net, it was instantly bounced back by a terrifying force, and the massive monster stumbled backward.
