Chapter 48 - OPRK Chapter 48: A Mermaid's Paradise Lost, A Pirate's Return

Stussy and Olvia, in some ways, were the same kind of person.

Stussy couldn't walk when she saw money, and Olvia couldn't walk when she saw Poneglyphs.

Squatting in front of the Poneglyph, Olvia gently stroked it, the ancient characters on the stone tablet deeply attracting her.

Olvia quickly became completely immersed in the study of the Poneglyph, completely forgetting Noro and Stussy beside her.

Uh… no studying of any kind allowed here.

Noro raised his eyes to look at Stussy, raising an eyebrow, gesturing for her to put the Poneglyph away.

Stussy could basically be said to be in sync with Noro now, understanding Noro's meaning with just a glance.

Smiling, she walked to Olvia, opened the Door-Door, and threw the red Road Poneglyph that she was still studying directly into it.

Interrupted halfway through her research, Olvia looked up in surprise, and after seeing that it was Stussy, she couldn't help but complain, "Stussy, I haven't finished reading it yet."

Stussy smiled, giving Olvia a head pat. "I've already put it away. Are you afraid you won't have time to read it? You're the Beasts Pirates' historian."

Olvia squinted her eyes enjoyably, nodding lightly. "That's true."

She could even sleep with the Poneglyph in her arms when they got back. She wasn't that young scholar in the Tree of Knowledge who hadn't been allowed to study by Dr. Clover.

As Stussy prepared to put the second Poneglyph into the Door-Door world, Noro waved his hand at her. "That one's fine."

Noro didn't have any collecting habits. He had only put away the one on Skypiea because it involved the Ancient Weapon Poseidon.

And this one in front of him had no meaning at all.

It was a letter of apology from Joy Boy to the mermaid princess of that time eight hundred years ago.

Noro looked down on Joy Boy, and even more on the group waiting for the prophecy.

Eight hundred years ago, no matter what means Imu used to win the final victory, losing was losing. Joy Boy was a loser.

What was even more ridiculous was that the whole world was waiting for a prophecy from a loser.

Please, Joy Boy had lost. What credibility did a loser's prophecy have?

Let Roger look at it slowly.

Olvia stood up indignantly, speaking out for the Poneglyph. "Hey! They're all Poneglyphs. Why are you discriminating?"

Noro waved his hand dismissively. "It's just a letter of apology. It can't be considered history. If you want to study it, you can make a rubbing of it yourself."

Olvia was very puzzled, asking, "Huh? How do you know it's a letter of apology?"

Noro shouldn't be able to read the ancient text. Otherwise, he wouldn't have gone to Ohara to abduct her.

But whether it was the Poneglyph back then or the one now, Noro seemed to know the contents.

Noro nodded, talking nonsense in a serious tone. "I have the ability to hear the voice of all things. Although I can't read the ancient text, I can hear the general meaning."

"Really?" Olvia widened her eyes, greatly shocked.

Noro, who had received professional training in the Marines, wouldn't laugh under normal circumstances, but he really couldn't help it. "Pfft, hahahaha… Of course it's fake!"

Why was she so easy to fool!

He really wanted to make a stone tablet, carve the Afang Palace Rhapsody in ancient Chinese characters, and trick her into thinking it was five thousand years of history.

Huh? That seemed like a good idea.

Anyway, the history here only went back eight hundred years. They wouldn't know if he made up a five-thousand-year history.

Olvia, seeing Noro laughing heartily, was so angry that her teeth itched, wishing she could bite him.

Seeing that Stussy had already closed the door, this couple was singing the same tune, not having any intention of putting the other one away as well.

Olvia could only silently take out paper from her backpack and start making a rubbing.

While making the rubbing, she was secretly cursing Noro in her heart.

After the rubbing was completed, Olvia held the rubbing in both hands, walking to Stussy, smiling sweetly. "Sister Stussy, please help me put it away."

Stussy smiled, taking the rubbing, opening the door, and putting the rubbing inside.

Having achieved their goal on Fish-Man Island, it was time for Noro to return to Wano.

Noro actually wanted to recruit a group of Fish-Men to join the Beasts Pirates.

Besides flying, that waterfall was the only way to enter Wano, and Fish-Men were the most suitable to guard it.

The Beasts Pirates let the Fish-Men live on land, and they helped the Beasts Pirates guard the country's gate. It was a win-win situation.

But after thinking about it, he decided against it.

Right now, Noro was alone on Fish-Man Island, without a ship or anything, and he didn't want to stay here any longer.

That kid Jack seemed to be a Fish-Man. He would let him recruit them later.

Noro found that enthusiastic pirate captain again. The captain had no objections, and they set off happily for the New World…

The pirate ship surfaced.

Stussy threw Olvia into the Door-Door world, herself lying on Noro's back.

It was okay if the Tengu Serpent flew slowly, but in high-speed flight, a delicate scholar like Olvia couldn't withstand the impact of the airflow.

Speaking of which, Noro hadn't heard the screams of those Wano people for many days.

He felt like he couldn't quit it at all.

These days, he had been restless, and he couldn't wait to return to Wano.

Olvia also happened to want to stay in the Door-Door world, studying the two Poneglyphs she had just obtained on Fish-Man Island.

Noro spread his wings behind him, transforming into a Tengu Serpent, riding the mist and soaring into the sky, carrying Stussy, disappearing in the blink of an eye.

Until they couldn't see the Tengu Serpent's figure anymore, the pirate captain mustered his courage, pointing in the direction the Tengu Serpent had left, cursing:

"Beast, you damned bastard!"

The Sabaody Archipelago had been beaten up for no reason.

If you wanted to go to Fish-Man Island, you could have just said so!

How would he know if he wouldn't agree if you didn't say it?

Would he dare to refuse a pirate with a bounty of fifteen hundred million?

He had to beat him up first, then grab his neck and ask:

"Do you want to send me to Fish-Man Island, or do I send you to hell?"

Listen to that, was that human speech?

He had indeed saved his life on the way to Fish-Man Island, and after arriving at Fish-Man Island, he thought he would never see him again.

This bastard didn't know how he had accurately found him on the huge Fish-Man Island, wanting him to take him away from Fish-Man Island.

He had just arrived at Fish-Man Island, okay? He hadn't had a happy time playing with the mermaid ladies yet.

But what could he say, what could he dare to say?

He could only leave Fish-Man Island with tears in his eyes.

In the end, this beast had also confiscated all the assets of his pirate ship before leaving!!!

As he cursed, the grievances surged up, and the pirate captain couldn't help but cry.

"Bullies!"

The sound of crying was so desolate that it saddened the listener and brought tears to their eyes.
