Chapter 10 – Bibi Dong's Training Journey
As Qi Tian quietly made his bed, he listened to the conversations between the other working students and Xiao Wu.
After understanding how the academy's work-study program operated, he stepped out to find the Dorm instructor and confirm his part-time job assignment.
It took a bit of persuasion, but he finally convinced the instructor to assign him to maintain the academy's training field—the same field covered in Blue Silver Grass. Satisfied, Qi Tian went straight there to begin his cultivation.
When night fell, he had dinner at the cafeteria before returning to the dorm for rest.
The next morning, Qi Tian woke up once again—inside Bibi Dong's body.
By now, Bibi Dong was already used to the strange sensation. When she saw Qi Tian's hands instinctively massaging his chest upon waking, she didn't even bother to stop him anymore.
"Is she... desensitized already?" Qi Tian thought to himself in mild disbelief.
Just then, Bibi Dong's voice echoed in his mind.
"Pervert, I'm preparing to leave Spirit City for my training journey," she said flatly.
Qi Tian blinked. "You're finally willing to leave Spirit City?"
Then he added with mocking irritation, "And can you not call me a pervert? I already told you my name, didn't I?"
After months of sharing a body and communicating daily, the two had grown familiar with each other. Eventually, Qi Tian had revealed his real name to her—after all, the system had already confirmed that this was a parallel world and wouldn't affect reality.
"You are a pervert. And who knows if that name of yours is even real?"
Bibi Dong snorted before continuing, her tone growing heavier.
"Yesterday, I went to see my teacher… I told him about Yu Xiaogang trying to pursue me."
Qi Tian raised an eyebrow. "Oh? And how did your teacher react?"
"He… he…" Bibi Dong trailed off, her voice tinged with unease.
Qi Tian frowned. He could sense the discomfort in her tone.
She had realized something was wrong—Qian Xunji's reaction had been too intense, far beyond what a teacher or even a father figure should display toward a student.
If Qi Tian hadn't warned her earlier, she might never have noticed the abnormality, mistaking it for an overprotective mentor's affection.
"Yu Xiaogang was expelled from the Spirit Hall yesterday… What should I do now?" she asked softly.
Qi Tian sighed. "Didn't you already plan to leave for training?"
He spoke lightly, as though discussing a casual matter.
"When your teacher has a child, you can come back. That should be safe enough."
After all, it would be about seven years before Qian Renxue was born. For a Soul Master, spending several years outside training was quite normal.
And even if Qian Xunji wanted to remain childless, Qian Daoliu would never allow the Angel bloodline to end. The Angel God's reincarnation required a successor—Qian Xunji had no choice.
"Alright," Bibi Dong finally said. Determination filled her voice. "I've decided. I'll go train for a few years."
Then, after a short pause, she asked:
"I plan to head to the City of Slaughter and obtain the Death God Domain. What do you think?"
Qi Tian nodded thoughtfully. "That's fine—but before going there, we'll stop by another place first."
He was referring to the Sunset Forest, where he planned to consume the Full Moon Wearing Autumn Dew—a rare treasure that might enhance both his and Bibi Dong's spiritual power.
If successful, it would allow Qi Tian to attempt absorbing a ten-thousand-year fourth soul ring and even start comprehending the Blue Silver Domain.
"Where exactly?" Bibi Dong asked curiously.
Qi Tian smiled. "Remember when you asked where you could find treasures that boost spiritual power? The place I'm taking you to has exactly that."
"Alright, I'll trust you," she replied without hesitation.
After taking the Whale Rubber twice and feeling its tangible benefits to her body, Bibi Dong no longer doubted Qi Tian's words.
Without wasting time, Qi Tian used her body to begin cultivation once more.
Eight months had already passed in this world, yet Bibi Dong's cultivation hadn't fallen behind in the slightest.
Qi Tian's presence didn't drain her soul power at all—it was as though they were advancing together.
At dawn, Qi Tian woke up early, stretching lazily as the faint light of morning seeped through the dorm window.
"I wonder how Bibi Dong's doing now…" he murmured to himself.
He had already told her to head toward Heaven Dou City ahead of time.
"It should be fine," he thought. "There's a Platinum Bishop stationed there—nothing bad should happen."
Besides, this version of Bibi Dong wasn't hopelessly obsessed with Yu Xiaogang anymore. As long as that was the case, even Qian Xunji couldn't forbid her from leaving the Spirit Hall to train.
The sky outside was still dim when Qi Tian glanced around the dormitory. Everyone else was still fast asleep—especially the pair on the opposite bunk.
"Heh…" Qi Tian smirked in satisfaction.
Xiao Wu was curled up under the same blanket with Tang San, sleeping soundly in each other's arms.
'The better their relationship gets, the higher my chances of getting the Mysterious Heaven Skill from him,' Qi Tian thought with amusement.
Still, he wasn't foolish. 'But if I can't even beat Xiao Wu by the time we graduate, I might as well forget about the Mysterious Heaven Skill altogether.'
After washing up, Qi Tian headed to the cafeteria for breakfast.
Most of the working students preferred to sleep late, skipping breakfast to save a few copper soul coins. But Qi Tian wasn't about to starve himself.
To build a stronger body, he needed food—lots of it. Skipping meals would only weaken his cultivation progress.
After finishing breakfast, he went to attend the morning theory class.
However, after listening for only a few minutes, he quickly lost interest and began meditating instead.
"Listening to these basic lectures is a waste of time. I'd rather learn from Bibi Dong and study the Spirit Hall's advanced texts," he thought.
Even if her theory foundation wasn't perfect, Bibi Dong's understanding was still far superior to these beginner-level instructors.
Tang San and Xiao Wu were both absent that morning—likely off hunting for soul rings.
In the afternoon, Qi Tian worked on his assigned duties while training his body on the side.
By the end of the day, he had already adapted to life as a working student.
All things considered, the job didn't interfere with his cultivation at all. In fact, the pay was decent—much better than weaving mats and sandals back in the village.
The academy cafeteria food was also better.
Qi Tian wasn't like the other work-study students who had to send money home. He only needed to feed himself.
Ten copper soul coins a day meant three gold soul coins a month—more than enough to keep him well-fed and even save some money to buy medicinal herbs for his training baths.
"This world really treats Soul Masters too well," he mused. "Even a part-time student earns more than ordinary laborers."
That evening, Qi Tian sat cross-legged on the edge of the training field, surrounded by Blue Silver Grass.
With focused control, he manipulated his martial soul—Blue Silver Grass danced between his fingers, twisting into spirals, weaving into a ball, and even hardening into a rod-like shape.
After months of dedicated practice, he could now fully control his martial soul at will.
Unfortunately, without a soul ring, the Blue Silver Grass was still too fragile. Even when shaped into a rod, it couldn't deal any real damage.
"My first soul ring must strengthen the Blue Silver Grass's toughness and vitality," Qi Tian resolved.
Only then would he finally possess some attack power and stop being so helpless in a fight.
As dusk settled over the academy, Qi Tian ended his cultivation and returned to the dorm to rest.

The next morning, Qi Tian woke up again—but this time, in a completely unfamiliar room.
"Huh? Where am I?"
He rubbed his chest out of habit, confirming the obvious difference in body shape.
"Right… this is Bibi Dong's body."
Scanning his surroundings, he realized the decor was unfamiliar—he wasn't in the Spirit Hall anymore.
"Don't bother looking around," Bibi Dong's voice echoed in his mind. "We're already on the road to Heaven Dou City."
Qi Tian let out a sigh of relief.
"Good. That means you managed to leave Spirit Hall safely."
"Your teacher really allowed you to leave just like that?" he asked curiously.
"He assigned two Soul Douluo as my escorts," Bibi Dong replied. "The thin one is named She Long, and the fat one is called Ci Xue. Don't slip up when you talk to them."
Qi Tian nodded silently. With two high-ranking protectors, her safety was at least guaranteed—for now.
