The school bell rang. Zane stood next to Nathan's desk.
Their classmates, who were used to them, just smirked. Their assumption that they would become enemies was actually the opposite. Who would have thought that the new boy in their class would actually make Zane seem normal and willing to interact with others now?
Zane himself felt the difference in how they treated him. It was much better, some of them even greeted him in the morning. Also, when going home, something like this had never happened before.
He didn't expect that this change would warm his heart and make him feel more comfortable in class.
"Nathan, Zane! Bye!" The students began to disappear one by one.
Zane looked back at Nathan. "So, you will go to Perlich's house? You sure?" he asked worriedly.
"Yes. I don't want to go home with a new bodyguard. I will protest until Louis comes back."
"Well, you know what will happen. They will call my father. They're sure you will come home with me."
