"Quick!" Roger exclaimed. He pushed Malvin's head down to make him lie on the bed.
"Ack!" His sudden movement made his younger brother shout in surprise.
"You're really going to kill me, damn it!" Malvin cursed angrily.
"Ssshh! Quickly, close your eyes!" hissed Roger, pressing his palm over his brother's face.
Malvin could barely breathe. He couldn't act and kept cursing in his heart.
Lucas panicked and immediately threw the first aid kit under the bed, then quickly put on a pleading expression beside the bed.
Outside, Nathan and Nael walked awkwardly side by side. But Alexander made sure they came together to Malvin's room to check on him after being discharged from the hospital.
"I hope he's okay," Nael said before knocking on the door.
Meanwhile, Nathan stood a bit farther behind him. He felt uncomfortable, and guilt still haunted him. He truly prayed Malvin was safe and not seriously injured.
