Chapter 87 - Nen Blast Barrage X Everyone Named Zoldyck is a Monster

"Didn't you say you weren't coming?" Netero glanced sideways at Ging. The renowned two-star ruin hunter had claimed he would absolutely not give up exploring ruins to watch a boring fight, yet his body was surprisingly honest. After receiving the call, he had rushed over without stopping.

"Hehe. I'm here to watch the show, just watch the show. Beans, pour some tea." Ging chuckled, deciding to play dumb.

Just as Netero said, he originally hadn't planned on coming. But a record had been broken, and no one could remain indifferent to that, especially when the person who broke it had done so in less than a day. It was truly unbelievable!

"Coming." 'One after another, they really know how to order someone around. Please, you're interrupting me from watching Mr. Ben An, okay?'

Holding a tray, but with his heart already on Kukuroo Mountain, Beans, with his two large, round eyes, kept glancing at the screen.

Sean arrived, riding the wind.

The Kusanagi blade cut through the lake, creating a surging current that split to both sides.

As he drew near, he was heard to say softly, "Extend."

With a "whoosh," the Kusanagi blade suddenly elongated, thrusting abruptly toward Silva's chest!

Enhanced by wind-attribute Nen, the Kusanagi blade was faster and fiercer this time compared to the last. Silva's vision blurred; his pupils registered nothing but a vast white streak, carrying peerless power as it shot straight at him!

"Hehe. It's the same move. You don't really think Dad would fall for it twice, do you?"

Long prepared for this move from Sean, a spherical Nen aura instantly radiated outward with Silva at its center. Even though his eyes stung from the Kusanagi's sharp glint, it didn't stop Silva from tracking its movement. With a "clap," his hands came together!

He caught it just three inches from his chest!

'[En]?' 'The blade was stopped, unable to advance an inch.' Sean glanced at Silva, unsurprised. "Dad's [En] has a radius of a full five hundred meters. Looks like it's even stronger than Grandpa Zeno's."

'Aura capacity is the only standard for [En]. Silva has broken his limits three times, his aura capacity exceeds six digits. A five-hundred-meter radius might not even be his limit.' Sean mused silently.

Silva said indifferently, "Can't compare to you. Within a thousand meters, any place the wind blows serves as your eyes and ears."

His biceps bulged as immense strength surged. Before Silva finished speaking, he executed a powerful shoulder throw, flinging Sean—along with the sword—away!

"This strength! It doesn't look like he's only broken his limits twice!" His right hand numb, the Kusanagi blade almost slipping from his grasp, Sean used the breeze to stabilize himself in mid-air. Realizing something was wrong, he quickly called out to Sage and activated "Appraisal"!

[REMINDER.]

[DETECTION TARGET: SILVA ZOLDYCK]

[STRENGTH: TRIPLE LIMIT BREAK, VALUE: 124567 (ORDINARY PERSON 10)]

'His strength has broken the limit too!'

"Hehe. It seems Dad has been holding back some frustration these past three years, too."

The words "I am very displeased" still echoed in his ears. The Kusanagi blade, freed from Silva's grip, retracted into Sean's body with a whoosh. The boy looked down on Silva from above, stretched his neck, and exhaled again— "Wind Style: Vacuum Serial Waves!"

Screech! Dozens of huge wind blades tore through the air, letting out sharp whistles as they slashed toward Silva. Silva's eyes flashed. He had watched plenty of "Pot Shadow Ninja" and knew this was Danzō's jutsu, capable of severing both the target's body and chakra. His first instinct was to—dodge!

"Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh!" The wind blades grazed Silva's body and plunged into the lake. From a distance, the lake looked like a cake that had been hacked seven or eight times, horizontally and vertically, with cuts so deep they revealed the lakebed beneath!

"This kid actually chose a natural element as his characteristic. And it looks like he really mastered it!"

"Hehe. A little interesting." In the Hunter Association office, Ging took a large gulp of the lemon tea Beans had prepared, his gaze fixed on Sean floating in the air, turning his breath into blades. It was unclear if he was soured by the tea or shocked that the boy had chosen [WIND] as his characteristic, but he coughed violently, almost choking to death.

'Eh? Is my lemon tea really that bad?'

"Ging, you guy, be careful, don't spit on the sofa."

"Sorry, sorry. The tea is great, it's my fault." Noticing Beans' unfriendly glare, Ging gave a dry laugh, hurriedly covered his mouth, and forced himself to swallow the lemon tea. Netero heard the commotion, shot him a glance, and, narrowly avoiding being disgusted, chuckled, "The fight has just begun. Don't be impatient. Let's see how this plays out first."

'As expected of the old man who once exchanged insights with Sean on [Heart Drop Fist Listen].' The scene changed.

The wind blades missed, but Sean wasn't discouraged. He aimed at Silva and made a finger-gun gesture. "Biu! Biu! Biu!"

Hundreds of flame bullets followed, denser than the wind blades, covering a larger area, and imbued with the [FIRE] characteristic. A full volley. No matter how fast Silva was, he would inevitably be singed by the high temperature, burning his skin. Therefore, dodging was not an option. He had to face it head-on!

"Nen Blast!" His triple-limit-break aura suddenly flared. Silva planted his feet on the lake's surface and, facing the sky full of incoming flame bullets, threw an upward cannon-like punch!

The super-large "Nen Blast" that had once enveloped both Zeno and Chrollo in the original story shot out. In an instant, it swallowed the hundreds of flame bullets, along with Sean!

'As expected, having a huge amount of aura is amazing.' "This Silva, as an Emitter, his output is no worse than Razor's."

Razor, a friend of Ging's, was also one of Greed Island's game masters, codenamed "R," responsible for all Emitter systems on Greed Island. His strength was immense. In the original story, he could break Hisoka's fingers with just a single dodgeball, which showed his power.

'It's just a pity.' "Hoho. Even a renowned ruin hunter can misjudge things." Netero shot him a teasing glance. "Ging, Silva isn't an Emitter. He's a true-blue Transmuter."

'Transmuter?' "That's nowhere near Emitter." Ging looked at Silva in surprise. "I'd believe it if the Chairman said he was an Enhancer."

After all, of the six major Nen types, adjacent types support each other, and there's a possibility of successfully training in them. Emitter is next to Enhancer and Manipulator, completely unrelated to Transmuter. Yet Silva, as a Transmuter, could release a Nen blast that only a top-tier Emitter should be able to.

He had to say it. "Silva Zoldyck really is a monster!" Feeling a sense of mutual appreciation, Ging didn't hold back his praise for Silva. But he suddenly overlooked one problem.

"Ging, did you forget? The kid fighting Silva is also named Zoldyck!"
