Theron's announcement came three days after Lord Vex's attempted coup. Three days of paranoia and suspicion while we investigated everyone with access to sensitive information.

"One of the scribes. Young man named Petyr. He's been copying confidential documents and passing them to Lord Vex's people in exchange for gold."
"How long has this been going on?"
"Months. Since before the civil war. He's been feeding information to various groups. First to Daemon's supporters. Then to the Architect remnants. Now to the conservative nobles."
"So every major threat we've faced had inside information because of this one scribe. That's... actually impressive in the worst way possible."
"He claims he didn't know the information would be used to hurt people. Thought he was just selling harmless intelligence to people willing to pay."
"That's a terrible defense. Selling any confidential information is treason regardless of intent."
