Elena's plan started three days later.
I was still recovering, still confined to bed most of the time. But I could plan. Could coordinate. Could make the decisions that needed making.
"We're going to hit them where they're weak," Elena explained, maps spread across my bed. "The Architect's strength is their network. Take that away and they're just scattered groups with no coordination."
"How do we take away their network?"
"We destroy their communication hubs. There are five main ones across the kingdoms. Places where messages get sorted and distributed. We hit all five simultaneously. Leave them blind and unable to coordinate."
"That requires forces in five different kingdoms. Forces that can strike quickly and escape before being caught."
