Hi,
I've decided to rewrite my story VANGUARDS: ELITE.Reading it again before starting Devil's Maniac, I finally saw what I refused to see before. I had always noticed small flaws but ignored them, thinking they didn't matter. But they did — and I think I was too caught up in finishing the story to admit it.
Now, stepping into the next project, which is set in the same world, I can see the bigger picture. I know where everything leads, and that makes me realize how much the first story deserves another chance. This rewrite isn't about changing the plot — it's about fixing the scenes that didn't feel alive, the characters who lost their voices, and the emotions that weren't real enough.
I'll be honest — I didn't do justice to it before. I relied too much on tools instead of trusting my own instinct. I thought it was enough to finish, not realizing that stories aren't about finishing, but about feeling. Maybe that's why not many people read it. I don't blame anyone for that. I blame myself — and that's fine. Mistakes remind us that we can still grow.
I still believe in the vision behind VANGUARDS: ELITE. This story matters to me — not because of how many people read it, but because it began everything that I'm building now. The Mystic Rift Saga exists because of it. The rewrite will take time, and it might delay Devil's Maniac, but maybe that's good. Maybe this time I'll finally write with the understanding the story deserves.
I'm not trying to make it perfect — I just want to make it right. If anyone who once read the story finds their way back, I hope they give it another chance. And if someone new discovers it, I hope they can feel the heart that went into it this time.
