"Wha… t…?"
The smile on Doflamingo's face vanished completely, replaced by an expression of disbelief, almost twisted in shock.
He stared hard at Renzo, as if hoping to find even the faintest sign that this was a joke.
But he didn't.
Renzo's gaze remained as calm and still as a quiet well, like he was stating the most ordinary fact in the world.
Leave the gifts, but you can't take the person?
What kind of bandit logic was that?!
He had brought such enormous "sincerity," put down the pride of a Shichibukai and a king, personally came to visit, he could even be said to have lowered himself to the ground.
And in return, not only were his "gifts" being confiscated, he wasn't even allowed to take his own person back?!
This wasn't humiliation anymore.
This was… blatant plunder!
A wave of uncontrollable rage, like a volcanic eruption, tore through the last of Doflamingo's forced restraint!
"RENZO!!"
He jerked his head up. The face that always wore an evil grin was now grotesquely distorted by fury.
From behind his sunglasses, his eyes burst with murderous light!
"You dare… push me this far?!"
BOOM!!!
Terrifying Conqueror's Haki exploded outward like a physical shockwave!
The dock cracked open instantly, the air itself screaming under the pressure!
Around him, the G–5 soldiers were hit as if by an invisible giant hammer.
Many turned pale; the weaker ones foamed at the mouth and collapsed with their eyes rolled back!
Even Ain felt a powerful dizziness.
Only Sanji, cigarette in mouth, stared at Doflamingo with cold indiffeRehnce,
a trace of disdain flickering in his eyes.
"Young master!"
Monet gasped and instinctively tried to rush forward, but an invisible force stopped her in place.
It was Renzo.
He was still standing there, not even changing posture.
That overwhelming Conqueror's Haki, enough to cow armies, hit an invisible, unbreakable wall three feet before him and dispersed without a trace.
It didn't even stir the hem of his coat.
"Push you too far?"
Renzo finally lifted his eyelids.
For the first time, his lazy eyes carried a cold hint of mockery.
"Who was it that sent men into my territory to commit arson?"
"Who was it that kept causing trouble for me, again and again?"
"Who was it that kept pestering me after I clearly said I was 'busy'?"
With every question, Doflamingo's expression worsened.
"I accepted your 'gift' to give you a step down, a chance to leave with dignity."
Renzo's voice grew colder.
"So what you're telling me now… is that you don't even want that step anymore?"
"Or is it…"
A dangerously sharp smile curved at Renzo's lips.
"Do you want to experience what Blackbeard did?"
Those words hit Doflamingo like a bucket of hell-cold water.
'Blackbeard…'
'The missing arms…'
The terror of Marineford resurfaced in his mind.
He'd read that report more than ten times.
Every line was burned into his skull like ice-cold brands.
Doflamingo's body began trembling uncontrollably.
Not from rage, but from fear.
Fear of a power he couldn't comprehend, couldn't resist, a power that could erase his entire existence effortlessly.
He cut off his Conqueror's Haki instantly.
His face went deathly pale, cold sweat soaking his brow.
He looked at Renzo like he was staring at a demon wearing human skin.
He finally understood.
This man was never just "lazy."
He was a sleeping tyrannosaurus wearing sheep's wool.
His "laziness" wasn't weakness, it was simply that nothing in this world was worth him getting serious.
But if you crossed his bottom line, if you disturbed his "peace".
Then what you'd face would be trouble a thousand times worse than death!
"I…"
Doflamingo tried to speak, but his throat was bone-dry.
Not a single word came out.
His famed eloquence, schemes, strenght… all felt pathetic and useless before this man.
And at that suffocating moment, a furious, contempt-filled voice exploded from the side!
"What Heavenly Yaksha? What King? My ass!"
A round, chubby figure launched forward like a cannonball, planting himself in front of Renzo with hands on his hips.
It was Rehn!
Ever since Renzo had "revived" his sister Lily,
Rehn had transformed into Renzo's most loyal and fanatical "paladin."
Seeing someone act arrogantly before "God" himself?
Impossible to tolerate!
"Look at you! Showing your teeth in front of Admiral Renzo?!"
Rehn jabbed a finger at Doflamingo's nose, saliva flying.
"Conqueror's Haki? Wow, so impressive!"
"But in our Admiral's eyes, your Haki ain't worth a damn!"
"At most you can blow his coat a little, and only if the wind helps you!"
"Redeem someone? Monet is one of us now!"
"Our Admiral's chief administrative officer! And you think you're someone who gets to take her back?!"
"I'll tell you something!"
"Forget these cheap trinkets, even if you carried all of Dressrosa here, our Admiral wouldn't back down!"
"Why? Because to him, this stuff is trash, junk, obstacles blocking his valuable nap time!"
Rehn grew more heated as he yelled, his spit nearly spraying across Doflamingo's sunglasses.
"You know what matters most?"
"Our Admiral's sleep quality!"
"Our Admiral's afternoon tea mood!"
"Our Admiral's peace, which is more precious than all of your ancestors combined!"
"If not for our Admiral being kind and too lazy to bother with you, I'd have peeled off that gaudy pink fur of yours and turned it into a mop already!"
"Now GET LOST! Or stay here until the Admiral changes his mind and turns you into the next Blackbeard!"
Rehn's machine-gun barrage of insults left everyone stunned.
Then-
G–5 Marines cheered like the heavens split open!
"Beautiful! Rehn-boss!!"
"Damn right! Shichibukai? In front of our Admiral he's a bug!"
"A pink mop! HAHAHA!"
Ain and Potts could only laugh helplessly, but their eyes filled with respect.
This "fat guy" was a natural-born master at boosting their Admiral's prestige.
As for the target of the insults, Doflamingo's face was now uglier than ever.
His whole body trembled, not from fear, but from rage.
When had he, the Heavenly Yaksha, ever been cursed out by some fat nobody?!
But… he didn't dare argue.
He didn't dare lift a hand.
Because everything the fat man said, as awful as it sounded, was true.
And the truly terrifying man stood right behind Rehn, watching with a calm, spectator's gaze.
Doflamingo felt like he was going insane.
He had never felt such humiliation.
