Jack had originally thought that Yotsuba meant Ichika's room would just have a lot of girls' personal items lying around.
But reality proved him completely wrong.
The moment the door opened, Jack immediately saw more than a dozen pairs of shoes scattered messily right at the entrance—even though the shoe cabinet beside it was already stuffed to the brim.
Further inside were all kinds of shopping bags. Through the gaps, he could vaguely see several pairs of stockings and various pieces of clothing.
Although the room was dark, Jack's vision—enhanced by his demon physique—worked unusually well in the darkness. He could even clearly make out underwear and bras hanging carelessly on hangers.
It could only be described as utter chaos.
"…Was this place robbed?" Jack couldn't help but complain.
Yotsuba, on the other hand, looked completely calm as she stepped into the room and turned on the light.
"This is just how Ichika's room always is."
At that moment, Ichika Nakano on the bed shifted slightly and slowly sat up, still wrapped in a thin blanket.
"Mm… don't treat my room like unexplored territory."
"Honestly, you've made it messy again." Yotsuba put her hands on her hips. Clearly used to this scene, she walked straight over to the wardrobe and began tidying up the clothes piled everywhere.
"Ha ha." Ichika let out a light laugh and then flopped back down onto the bed again.
"You're still sleeping? Get up. I'm going downstairs to tutor you all."
Jack lightly kicked the foot of the bed.
"Ahh, you rarely come into a girl's room and that's all you have to say? How boring," Ichika teased from under the blanket.
"I'd love to compliment it, but your room really leaves me nothing to praise."
Jack replied calmly, then suddenly turned his head away from the bed and said evenly,
"Pull your blanket up. You're exposed where you shouldn't be."
He hadn't expected Ichika to also sleep without clothes like him. Because she wasn't paying attention, the blanket had slipped down her back, revealing the fact she was wearing nothing underneath.
Ichika froze for a moment, then hurriedly pulled the blanket back up and wrapped herself tightly.
"Ahaha… sorry, I wasn't wearing anything. That's embarrassing."
She laughed it off, her cheeks faintly flushed.
Jack's gaze had already shifted to the dressing table. It was covered in all kinds of cosmetics—many of them opened and left uncapped, scattered everywhere in a mess of colors he couldn't even name.
Do high school students really have this many makeup products?
He couldn't help but think of Mai Sakurajima. Her room also had a lot of cosmetics, and she would occasionally put on light makeup before heading to work.
Maybe that's part of why Mai always looks so mature…
Come to think of it, compared to her four younger sisters, Ichika really did feel the most mature—both in personality and in aura.
"Yotsuba, grab me a few pieces of clothing from over there."
Yotsuba nodded, then suddenly pulled out a set of black lingerie from the pile and swallowed hard.
"W-Wow… she even wears something this mature…"
Yotsuba looked genuinely shocked.
"Idiot! Don't just show my private things like that!"
Ichika complained helplessly from under the blanket. Then she glanced at Jack and noticed his expression hadn't changed at all.
"Go change your clothes. I won't watch."
With that simple remark, Jack turned and left the room, closing the door behind him.
Outside, Nino, Miku, and Itsuki were already dressed and waiting, each wearing their usual identifying accessories.
Good. This way he wouldn't mix them up.
By the time Ichika came downstairs, yawning, Jack and the others were already seated around the dining table in the living room.
"I bought breakfast. Eat while it's still hot."
Jack glanced at Ichika. She was wearing a gray V-neck T-shirt and white tight pants, perfectly outlining her figure. It was clear she had put some thought into her appearance.
"Oh? You're actually being thoughtful?"
Ichika sounded a little surprised.
Meanwhile, the other four sisters were already eating, chatting about all sorts of random things.
They talked about everything except studying—and didn't even glance at the textbooks in front of Jack.
Now he understood why their grades were so bad.
After they finished breakfast, Jack lightly tapped the table.
"Alright. Time to start tutoring."
"Eh… can't you just invent some kind of magic? Studying is so boring…" Nino said disinterestedly.
"That's a different price," Jack replied casually. "If you want a spell developed for a human request, it'll probably cost about fifty years of lifespan."
"W-What?! Never mind then…" Nino immediately backed off.
Tch. So weak.
Ichika yawned and lazily said, "Honestly, what's the point of studying anyway? After school, there's basically nothing you can use it for."
Her attitude was completely unmotivated.
It was practically the same mindset shared by many underperforming students.
Nino nodded vigorously in agreement. Miku stayed quiet without commenting. Yotsuba and Itsuki, however, had already taken out their books—they were the most obedient toward Jack.
Jack sat calmly across from the five beautiful girls and said evenly,
"It's not that studying is useless. It's that the little bit you've studied is useless."
"..."
For a moment, the room fell silent.
Even though they didn't want to admit it, they had to acknowledge that what he said… actually made some sense.
"Tch… what's with you? Acting like some kind of experienced adult all the time," Nino muttered, clearly the most rebellious of the five.
Jack didn't mind her attitude. He simply said calmly,
"You can ignore my existence. But this is Yotsuba's wish. She sincerely made a request that summoned me, a demon. In every sense, you should at least respond to her expectations."
At that, all five girls froze.
Yotsuba hadn't expected the topic to suddenly shift onto her and immediately became flustered.
"Ahaha… don't, don't all look at me like that…"
Her ears turned slightly red.
The sisters exchanged glances. Perhaps his words had struck something in them, because they stopped joking around and obediently took out their textbooks.
Seeing this, Jack calmly opened his own materials and began his first tutoring session.
"..."
