King's flaming wings came crashing down like two massive, obsidian blades!

The dark flames forcibly tore through the sea of fire, stopping Ace's "Flame Emperor: Sun Wheel" dead in its tracks! The resulting shockwave leveled the village entrance. The scorched earth fractured as white fire and black flame intertwined, turning the area into a literal hellscape.

King's roar tore through the night sky. His wings unleashed a heaven-engulfing slash of fire, forcing Ace back several yards!
The heavily injured Jack had collapsed into the scorched dirt, his chest heaving violently, gasping for air. However, seeing Ace pinned down by King, a savage, predatory light flared in his eyes.
"Gyahaha!! I'll slaughter these insects first!!!"
He abruptly shifted into his Mammoth Hybrid form. Raising a massive, bestial hoof, he lunged toward the trembling villagers!
Otama fell to the ground, tears streaming down her face as she let out a piercing scream: "BIG BROTHER ACE—!!!"
Ace's expression shifted drastically. Fury boiled over as he tried to pursue, but he was firmly locked down by King's cage of dark flames!

The villagers screamed and scattered in terror. Tama, however, sobbed and reached out toward Ace, her small face drenched in tears.

A dark-green blade-light streaked across the night sky like a bolt of lightning!
Zoro's silhouette blurred into existence like a phantom. Enma, having replaced Yubashiri, was drawn. The blade was cloaked in Armament Haki and a demonic, purplish-black aura!
"One Sword Style: SHISHI SONSON (LION'S SONG)!!!"
"SPURT!!!"
The blade-light flashed, and time seemed to stand still.
Jack's pupils dilated in shock, but he couldn't even track the movement of the sword!
In the next heartbeat, a geyser of blood shot into the sky!
Jack's chest was cleaved open by a single slash, a torrent of blood erupting from the wound!

Kuina blurred into the area, scooping up the trembling Tama and whispering comfortingly, "It's okay... we're here."
King went into a total berserker rage. His flaming wings churned like the fires of the underworld, kicking up a hurricane of heat!

However, the only answer from the distant sky was Kaido's fading, furious roar: "I DON'T CARE IF IT'S A TRAP—I'LL BURN THEM ALL TO THE GROUND FIRST!!!"
"Hiss..." The pirates in the hall exchanged terrified looks, their breathing shallow as panicked whispers broke out.
Perospero shouted frantically, "Mama! We can't let Kaido go back alone! If he dies, our alliance is finished!!!"
Linlin ground her teeth, veins popping on her forehead. Finally, she stood up, her voice booming like thunder:
"—ASSEMBLE THE FLEET! THE ENTIRE ARMY WILL SET SAIL FOR ONIGASHIMA IMMEDIATELY!!!"
"If Kaido dies, we'll all go down with him!!!"
The war drums thundered!
The massive fleet set sail from the harbor of Jam Island. Iron chains rattled, and gargantuan ships cleaved through the churning waves, aiming straight for the bloodiest battlefield the New World had ever seen!

On the other side of the Sacred Land, candlelight flickered in a deep, shadowy stone hall.
Shanks walked in slowly, his right arm wrapped in thick bandages. He was pale, his eyes dead, yet masking a heaven-scorching fury.

"...Shamus." Shanks' voice was hoarse, thick with pain and resentment.
