High above the island, the Conqueror's Haki of Roy and the two Emperors clashed incessantly. Black and red lightning arced across the firmament, weaving a web of destruction through the clouds!
The skyline of Whole Cake Island had been torn asunder. Dark clouds churned in a violent vortex, and gales howled across the scorched earth below.
Big Mom sensed the life signatures of her children vanishing one after another. The fury in her heart threatened to incinerate her very soul! Her eyes were bloodshot as she let out a roar that could shatter eardrums:
"ROY!!! How dare you... in my own territory...!!!"
She lunged toward the treasure room, but Roy intercepted her in a heartbeat.
"BANG!!!"
A ripple of spatial distortion flashed. Roy's iron fist slammed into Big Mom's massive claymore, forcibly vibrating her back into mid-air!
"Linlin, don't get distracted," Roy sneered, his pitch-black knuckles once again wreathed in spatial ripples. "Your opponent is me."
"ROAR—!!!"
Kaido let out a bestial howl. His Hybrid form loomed like a mountain pressing down on the world. His club, Hassaikai, wreathed in pitch-black lightning, swung out in a devastating horizontal sweep!
"RAIMEI HAKKE (THUNDER BAGUA)!!!"
Roy roared as he met the attack head-on. His fists were encased in black spatial markings, his Haki surging like a mountainous tide!
"BOOM!!!"
The collision of fist and club shattered the air. The sky was instantly fractured into a million pieces. Black and red lightning spider-webbed across the sea, kicking up waves hundreds of meters high along the island's coast!
Meanwhile...
Streusen led the remaining Charlotte children in a desperate charge, attempting to hold the treasure room at all costs!
"We cannot let them near the Poneglyph!!!"
However, the wall of fire and lightning before them was a literal divine punishment.
"ENKAI: THOUSAND SUN RAIN!!!"
Ace's arms transformed into a torrent of fire, launching countless meteor-like fireballs that rained down on the enemy, scorching the earth to glass!
"GOD'S JUDGMENT: THUNDER HELL!!!"
Enel hovered in the sky, unleashing a deluge of lightning spears that instantly reduced swaths of Homies and children to charred husks!
The intertwining fire and thunder formed a barrier of absolute destruction. No matter how many members of the Charlotte family threw themselves forward, they could not advance a single inch!
Inside the treasure room, Law used ROOM to bypass the final defenses. His gaze locked onto the massive, blood-red stone. Ancient text covered its surface, radiating a mysterious and heavy aura.
"So this is the Road Poneglyph... one of the four key stones that records the coordinates to the Final Island!"
Even for someone as composed as Law, his breath hitched for a moment.
Outside, Ace's voice echoed amidst the sound of explosions: "Law! Are you done yet?!! There are more and more small fry coming out of the woodwork!!!"
Enel's thunder boomed alongside him: "I'm about to blast this shitty island into the seafloor!!!"
Law's gaze sharpened, and he pushed the power of his Ope Ope no Mi to its absolute limit. "Hmph. Easy enough..."
"K·ROOM: SHAMBLES!!!"
"VROOM!!!"
The pale blue surgical space expanded at a dizzying speed, enveloping the entire Poneglyph! The specialized power of K-ROOM allowed the range of his substitution to break past all conventional limits. In a flash, the heavy stone swapped positions with a massive boulder from the island's exterior!
The once immovable Road Poneglyph vanished into thin air, leaving behind nothing but an inconspicuous rock. Law's eyes flickered in the blue light, cold and heavy. "One of the keys to Laugh Tale... is now ours."
"We'll take it back to Marine Headquarters. Let's see which pirate has the balls to come and get it then!"
Law stepped out of the treasure room, the red shadow of the stone briefly visible within his surgical space. Ace and Enel exchanged a look, smirks tugging at their lips.
"It's a wrap! Let's get out of here!"
Big Mom suddenly sensed the aura of the Road Poneglyph vanish completely. Her pupils shrank to pinpricks, and a guttural, beast-like roar erupted from her throat!
"MY STONE!!! ROY!!! HOW DARE YOU—?!!"
The veins on her head pulsed violently. Her soul-power went into a total rampage as Zeus and Prometheus swelled to gargantuan proportions!
Kaido's fury was equally titanic. His draconic eyes shimmered with a destructive madness. "ROY!!! You brat, you're asking for death!!!"
"RUMBLE—!!!"
The two Emperors charged simultaneously in a blind rage! Haki, soul-force, lightning, and fire intertwined into a world-ending storm, crushing down toward Roy!
However, Roy simply looked up. His eyes were deep as the abyss, and his mouth slowly curled into a smirk.
"Are you finally getting serious...?"
"Come then. Let the world see—if the iron fist of the Marines can suppress two Emperors at once!"
"BOOM!!!"
Three streams of Conqueror's Haki detonated in the sky. The tricolor lightning tore the clouds to shreds, and Whole Cake Island was transformed into a literal purgatory of war!
The battle high in the sky had reached its absolute peak! Spatial shockwaves and black-red Haki lightning tore the heavens into fragments. Whole Cake Island was on the verge of collapse; candy buildings crumbled and melted under the vibrations, and Homies wailed as they dissipated into black smoke.
"RUMBLE—!!!"
Kaido, in his Hybrid form, roared like thunder. His club swung with the power to level mountains and split seas. "Worororo!!! Roy!! I will kill you today!!!"
Big Mom's face was a mask of demonic fury as her soul-power drained the lifespans of every living thing in the vicinity. Her body swelled like a vengeful ghost. "GIVE ME BACK MY STONE!!!"
Her Emperor Sword unleashed a devastating wave of energy—the Spear of Elbaf. The titanic slash tore through the air, carving a trench hundreds of meters deep into the ocean's surface!
Roy, wreathed in spatial ripples, moved like a phantom. Every one of his Fist Bone strikes precisely interrupted the Emperors' momentum.
"It's been two years... and all you've learned is how to throw a tantrum."
"BOOM!!!"
Below, fire and lightning shot into the sky as Ace, Enel, and Law carved a path of blood and ash!
Ace was an inferno; Enel was a lightning storm; and Law's ROOM swept aside every obstacle in their path. Ace shouted at the top of his lungs: "Big Brother Roy! We got it!!!"
Hearing this, Big Mom lost the last of her sanity. Zeus and Prometheus roared as they dove toward the trio. "MY STONE!!! GIVE IT BACK!!!"
But before her massive shadow could descend, Roy warped directly into her path!
"BANG—!!!"
A spatial pulse erupted like a collapsing tsunami. Roy's fist slammed ruthlessly into Big Mom's stomach! Linlin shrieked as she was sent flying several kilometers, crashing straight through the massive cake castle and leaving a trail of rolling dust in her wake!
Roy turned back, his gaze sweeping over his three subordinates. His smile was playful. "Since I just got back, let's give them a little breathing room."
"Ace, Enel—leave them a parting gift."
The two exchanged a knowing look and shot into the sky simultaneously! Enel raised his golden staff high as thunderclouds gathered in a swirling, manic vortex.
"200 MILLION VOLTS: RAIGO (ADVENT OF THUNDER)!!!"
A gargantuan sphere of lightning, like a falling moon, descended from the heavens. The energy was so dense it warped the very space around it, and the thunder was loud enough to burst eardrums!
Ace threw his arms wide, his flames transforming into a blinding, white-hot sun.
"DAI ENKAI: ENTEI (GREAT FLAME COMMANDMENT: FLAME EMPEROR)!!!"
The massive fireball expanded like a celestial body, its scorching heat vaporizing the seawater and sending plumes of white steam into the air!
The Raigo and the Entei illuminated the entirety of Whole Cake Island in a terrifying glare! For a heartbeat, time itself seemed to stand still.
Big Mom struggled out of the ruins, her pupils shrinking in horror as a soul-wrenching shriek left her lips:
"DO YOU DARE?!!! THIS IS MY TOTTO LAND!!!"
Kaido's eyes were wide with a mix of madness and shock. "These two brats... they can manifest this much power?!"
Roy hovered between the lightning and the fire, his black-red Haki coiling around him like a mantle. "Linlin, Kaido..."
"This is your parting gift—"
"—Hope you enjoy it!"
"RUMBLE—!!!"
The Raigo and Entei fell simultaneously, striking the core of Whole Cake Island with pinpoint accuracy!
On the Distant Sea...
The Emperors of the Underworld were frantically steering their ships away, their faces ashen.
"Lunatics... the Marines are all lunatics!!!"
"They're actually going to blow Totto Land into the seafloor?!!"
Morgans flapped his wings, his camera clicking and clacking as his feathers practically exploded with excitement. "Headline of the century!!!"
"A Marine Trio steals the Poneglyph! Thunder and Fire destroy Totto Land!!!"
Amidst the deafening roar...
The lightning and fire intertwined, a supreme storm of elemental destruction swallowing the heart of Whole Cake Island! The world turned white as sugar, cake, and Homies were vaporized in an instant!
"AAAAAAAAAAGH!!!!"
Big Mom's agonized shriek was drowned out by the thunder and fire! Kaido's draconic roar echoed through the shattered clouds!
Roy's voice, carried by spatial ripples, permeated the entire area:
"All Marines—WITHDRAW!"
The power of space enveloped the battlefield. Ace, Enel, Law, the Vinsmoke family, and the Marine warships vanished in a flash!
Only the collapsing remains of Whole Cake Island and the mournful fury of two Emperors remained, echoing across the sea...
