Chapter 15 - Inaho VS Satoshi

Satoshi, who was sound asleep, was awakened by an electronic sound.

He bolted upright. "Yes! The progress bar finally moved a little bit."

The Ninja World Scientist passive ability was quite interesting.

He hastily washed up and pulled out the scroll Inaho had given him earlier from under his bed. After only a short while of looking at it, he felt a massive amount of knowledge pouring into his mind.

Satoshi wanted to test the results of his hard training, so he took the scroll to the riverside. This wasn't a dedicated training ground, but occasionally a few clan members would practice there.

Swish... Swish... Swish...

The kunai in Inaho's hand precisely hit a distant target.

Seeing Satoshi arrive, Inaho proactively greeted him. "Satoshi, morning."

"Morning, Inaho-senpai."

Inaho noticed the scroll in Satoshi's hand, "Uchiha Taijutsu Essentials."

He kindly reminded Satoshi, "Do you need to ask an elder from the clan to teach you? That would be more efficient."

Satoshi smiled and shook his head. "I'm just casually looking. Everyone is quite busy, no need to trouble them."

Are you kidding? Which elder could compare to the awesome System?

Inaho's expression became complex upon hearing this.

This genius seemed a little arrogant.

Inaho said no more and cleared a large space for Satoshi. Then he squatted in the corner, quietly waiting for Satoshi's performance.

Satoshi took out the scroll and studied it carefully for a while.

"So that's how it is."

After finishing, Satoshi began to practice.

The first time, his movements were not fluid, like a newly manufactured puppet, with stiff clacking sounds from its joints.

"Sure enough, even a genius can't master something just by looking at it." Inaho consoled himself.

The second time, Satoshi seemed to grasp the key points, his movements creating gusts of air.

Inaho gasped. "No, this is ten, no, thirteen parts wrong."

The third time, it wasn't just fluid. It was so skilled that it was heartbreaking.

Inaho closed his eyes. He decided he wouldn't watch Satoshi practice anymore, it was too depressing.

A few hours later, Satoshi wiped the sweat from his forehead.

"Yes! Another skill acquired."

Next, it was a scroll about Fire Release.

Fire Release: Great Fire Annihilation.

[Passive: Ninja World Scientist activated. You have mastered Fire Release: Great Fire Annihilation]

Satoshi was stunned. "I've already learned it? I only looked at it once."

At this moment, Inaho saw Satoshi's surprised expression and mistakenly thought he had encountered a bottleneck. This made his inner balance recover just a little bit.

"I knew it. No matter how much of a genius he is, he can't be a hexagonal warrior. There's always something he's not good at."

The sky cleared, the rain stopped, and Inaho felt he was back in action.

"Satoshi, I know this Ninjutsu. Want to learn? I can teach you."

Satoshi tried hard to control his facial expression, trying not to laugh.

"I don't think that will be necessary."

Inaho spread his hands. He hadn't realized Satoshi was such a tsundere.

Since Satoshi said so, Inaho said no more, patted Satoshi's shoulder, and prepared to leave.

Let him suffer a little.

"Let's go, time for lunch."

"Please wait." Satoshi held up a small blade.

"Inaho-senpai, please practice with me."

Inaho agreed to Satoshi's invitation without much thought.

Guiding the younger generation was his duty as an Uchiha.

Even though the opponent was a genius who had defeated Itachi, he was still young. And he had been through the mill for many years, with rich combat experience. From this point alone, Inaho believed he had already won half the battle.

"Alright."

Inaho seriously drew his ninja blade. "Since it's a fight, I won't hold back."

As soon as he finished speaking, Satoshi charged forward.

The two blades clashed solidly.

Inaho used the most direct method, hoping to defeat his opponent in one move with his strength.

As the saying goes, one force can overcome ten skills. Any exquisite swordsmanship and Ninjutsu must be built on a foundation of strength. Otherwise, those flashy maneuvers had no practical meaning.

But—

Judging from Inaho's shocked expression, his plan seemed to have gone a tiny bit wrong.

Damn it, he had used all his strength, but he was still firmly suppressed by the small blade.

Where did Satoshi get such great strength? He hadn't heard that he had Senju bloodline.

"Inaho-senpai, you said you'd go all out. Don't hold back on me."

Inaho was fuming. How was he supposed to respond to Satoshi saying something like that?

He couldn't possibly say, "I have tried my best, please go easy on me."

He was a descendant of the Uchiha clan, he had pride.

Inaho's mind was momentarily disturbed by Satoshi's words.

Suddenly, Satoshi pulled back his strength, causing Inaho to lose his balance and stumble forward.

The red glow in Satoshi's eyes spun wildly, and he brought his blade down.

Clang!

Inaho's head buzzed. His rich combat experience made him make a subconscious move, barely blocking the small blade.

Satoshi missed his strike, withdrew his blade, and swept upwards.

With a whoosh, the sharp blade tip cut through Inaho's outer jacket.

Inaho quickly retreated, his eyes full of apprehension.

A gash had been cut across his chest, and blood was slowly oozing out.

Inaho deftly took off his jacket and made a simple bandage.

"Satoshi, I underestimated you."

Three tomoe appeared in Inaho's eyes. At this moment, his dynamic vision was greatly enhanced. This was the oppressive feeling brought by the Uchiha Sharingan.

In a one-on-one fight, if the opponent's genjutsu resistance wasn't enough, they couldn't even look him directly in the eye, let alone defeat him.

It was precisely for this reason that Guy developed the strategy of predicting an opponent's movements by observing their footwork.

And even if the opponent's genjutsu resistance was strong enough, the information feedback from the Sharingan could still give him many advantages.

[Passive activated: All abilities are enhanced when fighting an Uchiha.]

[Note: This passive activates when abilities unique to the Uchiha are in use.]

Hmm?

Through his Sharingan, Inaho suddenly noticed a strange phenomenon.

Why was Satoshi's Chakra suddenly surging wildly? What kind of miraculous secret jutsu was this?

While Inaho was in a daze, Satoshi quickly formed hand signs.

Genjutsu: Bringer-of-Darkness Technique.

The space around Inaho was instantly covered in darkness.

"Is it genjutsu?"

"Before these eyes, genjutsu has no… effect…"

Inaho was surprised to find that even his Three Tomoe Sharingan couldn't break Satoshi's technique.

He couldn't help but want to curse. What was this all about?

Are the techniques used by young people nowadays all so abnormal?

Where did he learn all this? The clan's secret scrolls didn't record anything like this.

Inaho complained while sensing his surroundings. Even though he couldn't see, he still tried to determine Satoshi's position based on the flow of Chakra.

"Here he comes!" Inaho shouted, slashing his blade forward.

Then, he was kicked away. Without hesitation, he quickly got up, only to be punched to the ground again.

Thump... Thump... Thump...

Inaho found that his means of restraint were ineffective. It seemed he could only passively take a beating.

"Inaho-senpai, let's stop here today." Satoshi's voice sounded from the darkness.

Inaho was silent for a moment, then nodded.

"I lost."

As soon as he finished speaking, Satoshi released the genjutsu.

Inaho, seeing the light again, instinctively squinted his eyes.

This white-haired young man was truly a monster among monsters.

"Thank you, Inaho-senpai, for practicing with me." Satoshi put away his small blade. "I'll treat you to a drink when I get paid."

Inaho's expression was complex.

Had he really served as a training partner? Why did he feel like he hadn't even made Satoshi sweat?

With someone like him, even a few more wouldn't be enough for Satoshi to fight.

At this thought, Inaho's face flushed.

He turned to look at Satoshi, who was already standing by the river, seriously forming hand signs.

Fire Release: Great Fire Annihilation!
