Samantha should already be on set since she's apart of the main cast. She doesn't know I'll be there though.
Checking my teeth in the mirror I took my juice and exited the car.
There weren't many idle people around so we got in without much of a hassle.
They were filming when we arrived so I stood back watching.
"That's it we'll start the next scene in fifteen." The director called out.
Samantha had her back turned to me busy talking to her co-star so I found the director.
"Director Wilde" I called out to him.
"Ahh. Diana you're here. The first scene for today will be when you the younger sister returns from studying abroad to help your older sister fight for the right to inherit the family company. You are the only girls and pair with the same mother so you two will obviously be closer. Your character is the smart but reckless type so you can be rude while you're older sister is a little timid but tough when she needs to."
I really don't get all he's saying but I understand the main idea for this episode. It's basically a reunion for the sisters just when the family head said the youngest was supposed to get married.
I've red the script so I'll start easy since this is my first time acting.
"Diana!!" I heard before I was suddenly attacked.
"Hello to you too Sam." I laughed hugging her.
Over the period of getting to know eachother more we've become pretty close and this lady is touchy as hell but I put up with her.
Samantha's Latina she can be quite crazy so her playing a timid woman shows her love and talent for acting—as well as how much she had to put in.
"Oh they got my baby playing hard!" She coo'ed which made the people around us laugh. "Come one we're sharing a dressing room. I'm so glad it's you why didn't you tell me!" She hissed dragging me to the dressing room.
"Wanted it to be a surprise." I smiled at the short but feisty woman.
"These are the outfits they chose for the first scene see which ones you like" She said pointing to the rack of clothes.
Back from studying abroad I'm young but reckless I thought.
• Red silk blouse •Leather skirt •Suspender stockings •Heels with a backpack.
Putting them aside I let Cameron work his magic.
"You're ready babe" Cameron said looking at me in the mirror.
"Thanks love"... I said before taking a selfie then changing into the clothes and taking some more.
Looking through them I sent two to Aaron then handed my phone to Jordyn.
"All you do is tease that man" Samantha said with a smile as I laughed.
"Let's go sis" I said taking her hand and leaving the dressing room.
"Come let me introduce you. This is Ann she'll be playing Teresa our mom, Jackson the dad Richard, Chad the stupid brother Alex, Raymond the sneaky brother Silas the rest are somewhere else leave them be" She shrugged
"Hello" I said giving a smile
"Hello welcome to the set" they greeted me and we chatted a little before the director came back.
"I'm nervous" I whispered to Samantha to which she laughed.
"Don't be this is your stage remember? Just be yourself, be Dia but with a twist of that sexy you gave sir Aaron!" She winked making me blush and the cast members around giving me a teasing look.
"You're annoying you know!?" I asked pouting.
"You love it" She laughed walking into position.
Calming down I put the sunglasses over my head fixing my braids as the glass dor slide shut.
"We're rolling in 5-4-3-2- Go"
Hicking the knapsack further up my shoulder I dragged the suitcase and strutted pass the people and out the sliding doors. Standing outside I adjusted my shades and squinted looking around.
"Kacey!!" Turning to the sound I smiled brightly at the woman waving to me as she ran.
"Robyn!!" I smiled hugging the shorter woman.
"AND CUT" the director called out.
"Good job getting through your first scene" the director said as they start preparing for the next scene
"Wasn't so bad was it?" Samantha asked looping our arms together
"No not at all. I just pretended I was on a runway." I said
And so we got to the scene of talking in the car.
"When we get there be easy. Aunt Lyda might be rude but just bare with it, she's the one that said you aren't qualified to participate since you're young and wild and should settle down before thinking of being in the business. She's the one that came up with the idea that you should get married like everyone else" Robyn said
"If I get married I get married on my own terms" I said with a wicked smile
"You wouldn't right? I mean she chose the worst possible candidates for marriage!! You know she hates us.!!" Robyn stressed
"I know that's why I have a plan!" I smiled looking out the window. The rest of the ride was silent as I texted on my phone and Robyn worked.
"Good evening young misses" the butler greeted.
"Greeting elders ladies and disappointments" I said looking at my brothers.
"Kacey welcome back" my father greeted
"Happy to be back sir" I smiled knowing they hated how much he let me live freely.
Sitting down my aunt was the first to speak
"How was studying abroad?"
"Fun I loved the less restricted environment" I smiled
Answering there questions ever so often with either boredom or sarcasm.
"Father?" I called
"Kacey?" He asked
"I was planning on getting married recently." I said making the whole table fall into silence.
After looking at me for a while he asked "Is that so?" He asked looking serious
"Yes sir we met while studying his parents agreed so I thought of telling you today?" I said talking carelessly.
"Robyn is that true?" He said looking at Robyn who was in shock.
"Uh yes.!! We said we'd wait until after dinner!" She said glaring at me for leaving her to clean up my mess.
"CUT" The director called.
"You're doing good but I need more from the eyes" He said before starting again.
Filming wasn't done until 7:00. Tired I layed sprawled out with Samantha on set.
"I'm hungry, tired, and miss my baby" I said out loud making her laugh.
"Which one?" She asked
"Both" I said in a tired voice.
"You're in luck the big one's here" She said making me turn around.
Finding Aaron at the edge of the set chatting with Chad but his eyes were locked on me.
Smiling I got up "bye" I said to Samantha who was laughing.
Ignoring the looks I was receiving from the cast and staff I hopped like a happy little bunny to Aaron throwing myself at him.
"I'm hungry" I said looking up at him.
"I know I brought food." He said hugging me.
"Alright no need to be all lovey-dovey infront of me" Chad said side eyeing us.
"Oh shut up!" I said rolling my eyes at him
"I see you're getting along just fine. Dia this here is my bestfriend Chad" He introduced even though he already told me.
"Hey stupid!" I said making him laugh
"Hey sis" He jeered back before leaving
"Alright let's go change" I said dragging him back to the dressing room.
Cleaning the makeup off I changed into my sweats "I'm ready" I called out to Aaron who was focused on his phone.
Leaving him to carry my bags I found my assistants.
"You can go back. Thank you for today"
I watched as they said goodbye to the others and drove off before we left.
Lowering the seat I took the blanket he had on the backseat.
Getting comfortable I lay back slightly dazed.
"How was it?" He asked looking ahead
"It's not bad I quite like it" I mumbled
"That's good, eat before you sleep." He said handing over the wet wipes.
"Hmm." I hummed
