The rest of the day went on with no more events. Though Clara kept sending signals with her eyes at Isabelle, she couldn't even approach to ask anything since Isabelle had made it clear that...
"Nothing happened."
Those two words were all she said before going back to her desk and finishing up on the work she had to take care of.
But then those words did not clear anything, and made them even more confused.
Especially when they saw the hairpin in her bun. If nothing was going on between them then... Why did she walk out with that in her hair?
It was such a chaotic moment that she would rather not entertain.
Isabelle knew she had to finish up with her work before the end of the day since there was an important meeting involving not just the Business Development Department, the strategic planning department, and the project management office.
