Chapter 2 - Chapter 1 – The Talentless One

The floating window shimmered before Suho's eyes.

> **[Guild Information – Human Race]**

> **Your world has been conquered by Demigod Mokishu.**

> **You have one year to train before the real Tutorial begins.**

Suho stared blankly at the glowing words.

"Mokishu…? Who is that? What does he mean, 'taken by a demigod'?"

He felt his chest tighten.

"What about my parents? My little sister… are they here too?"

No answer came. Only silence and the faint hum of light in the empty white space.

---

He turned back to the status window. Another line appeared.

> **[Analyzing player's potential to assign class...]**

> **[No supporting Constellation found.]**

> **[Scanning innate talent...]**

> **[No talent detected.]**

> **[Base class cannot be assigned.]**

Suho's fists clenched.

"Even here… I'm talentless?"

He let out a hollow laugh. "I couldn't pass a single interview in real life, and now even a *system* doesn't want me."

But somewhere inside him, a spark refused to die.

He stood up. "Then I'll train without talent. Let's see how far hard work can go."

---

The first month passed.

He trained with what little he had — a rusty sword labeled *[Stage 1 Basic Weapon]* and shelves filled with strange old books.

When he opened them, they weren't instruction manuals or spell guides.

They were *stories* — about kings, holy knights, necromancers… heroes who rose from nothing.

At first, Suho read them out of boredom. But soon, they became his obsession.

"If this is another world… and if I have a status window…" he muttered, eyes gleaming.

"Then maybe, just maybe… the knowledge in these books could be real."

So he tried everything.

Meditation for aura.

Dark incantations for necromancy.

Every trick, every ritual, every word he could copy.

Days became weeks. Weeks became months.

A full year passed.

Yet nothing changed.

No aura. No magic. No skill.

He was still — just Suho.

Ordinary. Weak. Forgotten.

---

Then, one day, a new message appeared.

> **[Tutorial Stage 1 is now active.]**

> **[Please enter the Portal to begin.]**

A swirling gate of light formed before him.

Suho took a deep breath. "One year of training… let's hope it was worth something."

He stepped through.

---

The light faded, revealing a dim cave. The air was damp, echoing with the sound of dripping water.

Something moved in the shadows.

A small creature stepped out — green skin, yellow eyes, a crude dagger in hand.

> **[Monster Detected: Level 1 Goblin]**

Before Suho could react, the goblin lunged.

He swung his sword wildly, blocking one strike — but the goblin was faster, meaner.

Steel bit into his stomach.

He gasped, falling to his knees as the goblin slashed again and again.

Pain. Blood. Fear.

The system flickered. His heartbeat slowed.

> **[Critical Condition Detected.]**

"I don't… want to die…" Suho whispered.

Not here. Not again.

Something burst inside him — not anger, not fear, but *instinct*.

A surge of invisible energy exploded from his body.

The goblin stumbled back, eyes wide.

Suho, covered in blood, roared and shoved the creature with everything he had.

> **[Aura Unlocked.]**

He stumbled toward the portal, clutching his wound.

The goblin screamed and chased him — but as Suho crossed the gate, the monster stopped, unable to enter.

Suho fell to the ground, panting.

Then, gripping his sword with trembling hands, he turned back.

"Not this time."

With the last of his strength, he threw the sword.

It spun through the air and struck the goblin's skull cleanly.

> **[You have slain a Level 1 Goblin.]**

> **[Level Up!]**

The status window glowed.

> **[Stat Points Gained: +5]**

> **[Distribution Recommended.]**

Suho smiled weakly, pressing the buttons with shaking hands.

> **+4 Strength**

> **+1 Magic**

His vision blurred, but his heart was calm.

"For once," he whispered, "I did something right."

Then the world faded to white again.
