"Fill, fill, fill 'er up, fill... Repeat... Four times...
Or was it five?
Uhm, destroy each time it is filled...
Right?"
Blood was being smeared on the hard wood floor as a ritual was being lazily recited by a red-haired youth, one who looked back at the book in his hand. He held no respect for the words or actions he was doing, but likewise he held no true understanding of what his actions entailed. During this a new report was playing on a screen that was currently ignored.
"Hm... Fill, fill, fill, fill, and fill.
That's Five Times!
Okay. Huh?"
The Red-headed youth turned to the TV where the news of a string of murders were being broadcast. Three Murders, each with a pentagram drawn in the blood of the victims, but the purpose of the symbols remained unclear to them. "Maybe I went a bit too far..." He said, before grabbing the Control for the Television and turning it off.
Turning to his right, he saw a child who was tied up and struggling, then began speaking "Do you believe in demons, kiddo? All the papers and magazines call me a demon. But suppose demons really did exist. Wouldn't that be rude? You've Gotta be clear about these things."
He walked up to the kid, almost like he had no care nor remorse for the kid. He then got up in the kids' face and made a salute as a mocking self-introduction, causing the kid to jump and whimper in fear.
" "YO! I'm Ryunosuke Uryu, and I'm a demon!"
I dunno if that's exactly the right way to go about it. But look, I found this. It's some old book from our storehouse. Looks like my ancestors were researching how to summon demons.
Like, so I've just gotta find out if there really are demons!"
The self-introduced Ryunosuke waved the book in front of the kids' face before bringing it back and opening it up. His voice was joyous and existed, thrilled at the idea of summoning a demon.
"But you know... If a demo really did appear, it'd be pretty stupid to just chat with it and send it back. So, kid... If a demon does show up, would you mind letting it kill you?"
Ryunosuke sat on a chair and looked at the kid, asking as if it was a simple favor. The Kid's eyes widen in fear as he began to scream and cry in hopes for help, but the cloth gag cruelly silenced it. Equally as cruelly, Ryunosuke Laughed and rocked in his chair.
"I wonder what it's like, being killed by a demon? Not many people get to find out!
Ow! What's that?"
He flinched slightly as a pinching, twisting, and slightly burning feeling permeated the back of his right hand. A glowing red mark started to appear on the back of his hand, almost like blood soaking through fabric. Then, from behind him, the circle he drew in blood began to glow as electricity sparked at it edges. The wind began to whirl as steam or smoke emanated from that circle. He quickly got out of his chair as a beam of light shot up and dissipated to reveal something... or someone.
The newly summoned figure was a lightly tanned male dressed in white linen and adorned in gold from head to toe, a royal purple cape fluttered behind him in the easing winds. His hair was impossibly spikey; the back of his hair was a dark red that looked black when densely packed while 8 gold streaks made up the front. He wielded a large golden ankh with the end shaped like a single toothed key.
"I ask of you and you alone, one who hast summoned me as Caster. The Summoner of a heretic.
What is your name?"

"I ask of you and you alone, one who hast summoned me as Caster. The Summoner of a heretic.
What is your name?"
'...Were am I! Aren't I supposed to be dead, is this the afterlife? Wait what did I say? Summoned... as Caster?'
Despite my inner turmoil, none of it showed on my face. Too many thoughts were running through my head for any one thought to change my expression. I gripped the golden key in my hands tighter as I took in the situation, an odd sense of calmness settling over me, stemming not from myself but magical data of this vessel.
"Um... I'm Ryunosuke Uryu. I'm currently working a bunch of odd jobs, My hobby is murder of all varieties, and I also like children and young women."
That was what, the seemingly 19-year-old red head, said to me. He spoke in a nonchalant manner about his rather repulsive hobbies, rubbing the back of his head casually. I stared at him as the information was being processed. Along with that, 2 sets of memories and implanted knowledge fully settled within my mental vessel.
'Ryunosuke... Holy Grail War... Caster class... I'm in FATE/Zero? But... Why am I Atem from "Yu-Gi-Oh!"? This is-'
As I was thinking, a long silence awkward dragged out within the room. Ryunosuke, not entirely knowing what to do or what was going on and probably believing he summoned a demon, decided to break the silence.
"Um... Well, how about a sacrifice? Wanna Eat this kid?" Hearing that, said kid started to panic and scream again, drawing my attention. My face, still expressionless, looked between him and Ryunosuke. I then took a glance at the item within my hand, a ankh or key of pure gold that I brought up Infront of me.
"Woah, is that all gold?" Ryunosuke asked in astonishment, as seeing real fully gold objects were rare. A merely took a glance at him before returning my attention silently back to the ankh then looked at the kid once again, settling myself and my thoughts.
'Right... I can figure all this out later. It's best to get acclimated and into a better position.'
I slowly walked towards the child, moving the chair in my way to the side. Once close, I loomed over the kid, the top half of my face shadowed as I looked down on them. I slowly kneeled down, closer to the kid as he began to panic even more. The movement made my actions much more difficult, almost annoying, but I persisted. However, instead harming the kid like Ryunosuke Expected I untied the ropes. I did not smile as I Helped the child up.
"Do you see that door over there? Go and Leave." The kid looked at me for a second before quickly running for the door and leaving. Ryunosuke looked mostly annoyed, with hints of confusion and disbelief. He looked at the kid running to the door then back at me before he spoke. "Hey, What the hel-" I interrupted him as I brought the end of the key right to his face. His third eye began to glow magic overtook and shadowed his mind and the light in his eyes dulled as I Entered.
His inner Mind looked like a large house, shadowy and covered in blood. There was not much else to note other then is size and filth and the lack of a proper number of doors. I came across many doors, a traditional Japanese door soaked in blood, a dark wood European door with "God" Scratched into it, and many more. Eventually I came across three Paintings, positioned closely in a triangle formation. Each depicting the back of the same hand in different positions and angles, each holding a single incomplete red mark.
"Knew It." I said as I lifted my Millennium Key with my right hand to my left side, the swiftly swung it back to my right in a horizontal cutting motion. The painting forcefully fly off the wall, then cuts started breaking them apart into smaller and smaller pieces, until the only parts left recognizable where three shreds of the canvas with the red marks still intact. With my left hand I grabbed them mid-air.
"By the power of these command seals, I order myself to release my Noble Phantasm and summon the Millennium Puzzle." The red marks on the paper began to glowed, 1 of the three parts faded away as massive amounts of energy swirled me trying to consolidate into an object, shaping into an inverted pyramid.
'My Nobel Phantasm [Millennium Item] allows me to bring forth 1 powerful object connected to the power of the Millennium Spellbook, including the spellbook itself.
Under normal Circumstances this Nobel Phantasm can only activate once, upon my summoning. But with command seals I-
The magical energy sputtered and was dispersed from its shape and scattering throughout the hallway of this soul room, still there but now inactive. I squinted my eyes; I felt within myself that only a few objects moved, but just barely a budge from any of them and not even a reaction from the Puzzle.
"By the power of these command seals, I order myself to re-release my Noble Phantasm and summon the Millennium Puzzle." Magical energy swarmed again, bringing the last batch along with it. It once again tried to form. This time most of the objects shuttered and even almost formed, but the puzzle was still unresponsive. The second red mark faded away.
"If two won't even make you budge, then I doubt three will summon you. Are you that powerful or that stubborn? I already wasted two for nothing,
My [Independent Action] skill will allow me to last long enough to find a new master, if need be, but with the addition of a second Millenium item– My magical energy reserves will be a lot higher.
Not as good as the permanent manifestation the Puzzle would have given me, but better than what I have now.
By the power of these command seals, I order myself to re-release my Noble Phantasm and summon the Millennium Ring. Let's hope this is enough... and that 'he' is not in there."
For one last time, magical energy rushed into the room, becoming even greater with the lingering power from the last two. This time it consolidated into a ring form, a triangle in the center with 5 spikes sticking out the bottom. This time instead of breaking apart, it actually solidified, becoming solid gold. It floated there for a second, and I grabbed it before it could fall.
I Then
Once my hand was on it, a malicious force exuded out and tried to affect me and my saint graph. But this was only out of its inherent nature; it had no force or will of its own. Mixed with the fact that I, as Atem, Held both command and natural resistance to these objects, meant its dark [Alter] or rather [Yami] Attribute was incapable of taking hold.
"Being both a Malicious and Benevolent spirit has its advantages."
I chose the millennium ring for many reasons, but the major one being its almost omnipotent compass like ability, which when combined with the knowledge of this war I still possess would allow me to choose my battles for the most part. Along with is Weaker form of soul sealing, and it being one of the 4 candidates for the top 3 strongest item by raw power alone. I placed the Millennium Ring on my neck. Once it settled, a Heartbeat like pulse of darkness washed over me, but it was still too weak to affect me, especially with a [Justice] Attribute Item also in my possession.
"This will be my first, only, and last mercy to you, Ryunosuke Uryu." I held up my hand, magical energy surging forward and compressing into a flat rectangular shape, forming a card. I spoke one word, "Fiend Sword", And threw the card to the floor. It shifted into a blade with a cross-guard shaped like a skull. The blade sunk into the floorboards as I walked away, leaving his mind through the front door.
Back within the physical world I pulled the key away from his forehead and let my arm fall to my side. His eyes cleared up from the magical influence as I walked past him to this house's hallway. He turned to me and lifted a hand out "Hey, wai- ghk.", he tried to call out before blood poured past his lips.
I did not turn back, I didn't need to, I knew what I did and its consequences. Sword Plunged out of his body from the inside, puncturing and slicing, spilling his blood. He was given the one thing he looked for but could never find. And I left without looking back.

Reasons why I took so long
1. Shorter than I wanted. But I might not get this posted if I try and go any longer.
2. I lost this work, and only recently got it back. Didn't want to rewrite it.
3. Took a break from Webnovel for a long bit.
4. Lost motivation for a bit.
5. Had a lot of doctor's appointments, blood test, getting new doctors, etc.
6. Unfortunately, DID NOT get hit by a bus, so didn't have any good excuses and felt too awkward to post so late without any.
So yeah
The end
Is it good, is it bad. IDK.
Probably a lot of mistakes... so sorry if there are any.
