Chapter 2 - Chapter 2

I squinted and—holy crap, a stunning beauty! She had long, straight, dark purple hair cascading down her back, paired with clear yet mysterious dark purple eyes. Her seductive gaze and plump, sensual lips radiated endless charm. Her outfit? A sheer black veil barely covering her body, with only two heart-shaped pasties over her nipples on what had to be at least H-cup breasts. Below, a black thong that sent my pulse racing. Sprouting from her back were a pair of small demonic wings, and a sleek, dark tail coiled around her flawless thigh.

"A succubus?!" I blurted out.

"Heehee, how rude! I'm Lilith, not just some succubus. I'm one of the Seven Demon Kings, you know." Every move she made seemed designed to tease me.

First paradise, now hell—what the heck was going on? My brain was in complete chaos.

By now, Lilith had sauntered right up to me. "You're the new Divine Envoy that old geezer sent to the One Piece world, right? Sorry to break it to you, but this realm's already under our Demon Clan's control. Your predecessor, that stubborn fool, refused to cooperate, so I… eliminated him."

"E-Eliminated? Uh, sorry for the intrusion, I'll just… leave!" I turned to bolt, but after two steps, my body froze in an awkward pose, completely out of my control.

"Hehe, don't be scared, little brother. I won't kill you—as long as you cooperate. Just hear me out, okay?"

I instinctively tried to nod, but I couldn't move a muscle except my eyes. Seriously? I just got here, and I'm already done for? That old geezer totally screwed me over!

Lilith stepped back into my field of vision, muttering as if to herself: "Desire is the source of our Demon Clan's power. We've claimed this realm to harvest the desires of all its creatures. But we can't directly interfere in lower realms, so we need proxies to collect desires for us—just like that old geezer needs Divine Envoys to gather faith for him."

What the hell? I don't care about any of this! I just want to stay alive! I struggled desperately, but my body wouldn't budge. I had no choice but to keep listening.

"Originally, I planned to work with your predecessor. He could've collected faith for that old man and desires for me—no conflict at all. I'd even have rewarded him! But he was too stubborn, clinging to some boring sense of justice, refusing to bend even if it meant death. I got annoyed and… well, killed him. I was just stressing about finding a new proxy when I saw you get teleported into this realm. So, I brought you to my turf. Relax, I really won't kill you. Can we have a nice chat now?"

My body suddenly relaxed, and I could move again. Suppressing the urge to run, I cautiously asked, "Uh, beautiful lady, you're really not gonna kill me?"

"Heehee, why so timid? Don't worry, I won't kill you. Where would I find another proxy if I did? Just cooperate with me, and you'll get plenty of benefits."

"C-Cooperate how?" She was a demon, after all—I couldn't shake the uneasy feeling.

"That old geezer wants to train you as his Divine Envoy, right?" I nodded.

"You keep doing his tasks; I won't interfere. As long as you don't snitch, he'll never know I'm here. All I need you to do is collect desires for me, and I'll lend you my power to help."

"How do I collect desires?" I had a bad feeling about this.

"Human desires are endless. Just offer temptations, and you'll get desires. There are many kinds, but my favorite is lust. So, all you need to do is… get intimate with women, and you'll gather desire energy. I'll imprint a magic circle on you to collect it. In return, I'll give you points you can redeem for all sorts of rewards. Sounds like a sweet deal, right?"

"B-But what if the Main God finds out?"

"Hehe, you're really paranoid! Relax. Gods and demons can't directly meddle in mortal realms. Even scanning a lower realm with divine sense would cause it to collapse entirely. So, until you officially become a Divine Envoy, you're free to do whatever. Go have fun with the ladies—that old geezer will never know."

Holy crap, this is the best gig ever! I nodded like a bobblehead.

"Heehee, I like smart guys. No more chatter—let's get that magic circle on you." Lilith looked eager.

Without her moving a muscle, I felt a searing heat in my chest. I yanked up my shirt and saw a palm-sized magic circle glowing with a seductive red light over my heart. It looked like a six-pointed star enclosed in a circle, each line made of countless intricate, unknown symbols. It was mysterious and ancient.
