Chapter 162 - House of Chaos (Part 10)

"Hey you can't just leave like that!" Lewis caught up to her in the hallway, with his long hair fluttering behind him as he took his steps. "But firstly... You have to tie my hair up, the way you do it on a regular basis. This is so high maintenance!" He spoke while pulling silver strands with his fingers to the sides.

"Fine... Go to my room, there is a drawer inside my closet where Brittany stores my hair accessories. Just use a hair tie to tie it all up at the back of your head." She instructed without pulling her eyes from the screen as she aggressively tapped onto the surface, with the satisfaction of managing to lay her fingers on one of these again, after about three months in another dimension.

"Aefia! Come on! You are my sister!" He spoke while pushing her from the back and making her stumble forward for a few steps, causing the phone to fly into the air and installing a panic into her mind. "Darn!" She sprinted forward with full speed and then slamming to the ground to catch it in time. "Alright! Just go to my room and wait?!" Standing up, and dusting her clothing, she spoke with irritation and annoyance.

With a wrong finger tap due to the sudden catching, she had accidentally left the game interface. "Ugh!" She shouted which spooked her brother's soul out of him for a short moment as she stomped her foot and held her phone above her head as if to break it, but destroying the precious thing at her hand was going to cost her life. But wait... Don't I live in a darn palace? She smiled suddenly and smashed it on the ground with pure frustration. Oh wow! I love being rich!

"Geez! What has gotten into your mind?!" He shouted while glancing at the turned phone, with the three camera at the back being the most visible, that lined in one single line. "George is going to slit your throat for being that aggressive! It's just a game!" He spoke while attempting to run on heels. "With that final haircut, you have fully turned into a boy." He crossed his arm in front of him.

"Relax! I can get a new one on the ready! I have a monthly allowance... Don't I?" She shrugged while turning the phone around with her shoe. "But... Looks like nothing happened." She spoke while letting out a deep breathe of regret and picking it up. Then, using the sleeves of the tailcoat, she cleaned the screen and started walking towards her brother. "Hold on... I don't want to miss the chocolate cake that Henry had been eating." She spoke while glancing backwards.

"That can wait! I was going to get myself a piece too anyway." He spoke while trying to drag her towards her room. "Although, I want to get the whole cake if there is... And make you suffer." Hearing this, she sprinted towards the dining hall without a word and pulled a huge slice out of it. That should be enough for him. Her eyes stayed locked at the small acute triangle on top of the large plate.

Walking back, with a smile on her face and her phone at her pocket she returned with the cats trialing her footsteps as they went to her room. Inside, Lewis had caused a mess, all over the room floor, with clips and accessories and a few stray silver hairs. "This is exactly why I needed your help!" He shouted from infront of her mirror at the sharp corner of her room.

"Well at least you tried." She stared directly at the birds nest he has created above his head. "That is actually how hard it is to maintain long hair when you have three brothers who just want to rustle your head you know." She smiled while setting down her plate on her desk and snapping her fingers to restore everything in the room. Then, her face finally turning stern, she pointed to the sofa and watched as he went over and had a seat.

"Now the fun fact here... I don't really know how to style it... So I will have to pull the most ordinary move I can find." With the hair brush at her fingertips, she walked over and placed it on his head from the back of the sofa. "Oh snap!" Lewis spoke while folding his arms in front of him. "Then what is the fun if I get to be a girl for one day... And I can't have fun looking good?"

"Seriously?!" With widened eyes, she pulled hardly at the tangles as he yelped in pain. "That is why you were damaging your hair like that?! You looked worse enough for even birds to avoid it!"

"Well it couldn't be helped! At least your handmaid does your styling for you! And I was jealous I couldn't enjoy it!"

"Jealous because you couldn't suffer... Regular pain?!"

"I didn't know alright! Until those pins started poking my scalp!"

"... Then that is lesson learnt enough for a day." She spoke while going in a more fragile way through sections of the hair. "This almost feels like dying someone's hair for them." A heavy breathe left her lungs as she went towards the last line of hair left. At her pockets, her phone buzzed with notifications which she couldn't reach just yet.

"You really need to put your screen time into restricted mode." Lewis spoke once she was done and went over to pick up a rubberband. "Any preferences in particular... Princess Lewis?" A mocking smile was held at her face as she stood halfway turned towards the drawer. "The most luxurious... And ornate... It needs to bling like diamonds... You know what... Can you put decorative accessories against it?" He spoke while crossing his legs the way she would.

Without a second glance, she pulled out a silver butterfly-shaped one with diamonds at random parts through out the long hairpin. "Then I guess this is the one?" She held it up with confirmation and walked over and clicked it in place. "Now get lost." With the stern command, she reached over to her desk and picked up the plate with the large piece of chocolate cake just when Henry came running in.

"Are you playing it without me?!" He shouted while heaving heavy breathes and jumped onto her bed with his own laptop. "Let's play together to see who wins! I always wanted to test if you were a better player then me!" With an excited voice, he clicked the on button laid within the keyboard and held his breathe while watching his monitor blink to life. With one last glance at the middle brother, she spoke with her fork pointed at Lewis's direction. "I have left the last piece for you. Might want to hurry and go after it before it all dissapears."

While slapping on one of her top hats, he rushed outside with hurried steps, and disspeared around the corridor. She felt bad for him, now that he was restricted from actually being able to run. Climbing onto her bed beside Henry, she watched the kid play his own solo game first, then he moved onto fulfilling the daily missions, which kept him busy from asking her to log back in and play with him.

"By the way... Wasn't the Count supposed to come over today?" The kid asked after waiting a short while. "I heard you were tangled into this mess too. I feel bad for you, and your left arm. Why aren't you treating it? George told me to pull you into the medics room whenever I can... But I don't want to force you because you are my elder sister." He folded his arms.

Finally, setting down her plate and fork, she reached out to rustle his hair with a smile on her face. "You are my favourite brother, out of the three of you." She spoke while pulling her hand back. "Honestly... They know about my injuries and that is enough to have them ground me for the rest of the year. If they see my injuries, they will stop me from going to school... Then rip apart every family members of the girls who injured me. That is the reason I don't want them involved into the matters of my life."

"Well they are strict in that term." Henry spoke while placing a finger at his chin. "But if that is what you are afraid of... I can stay silent if you want." He added with a smile. "Yeah that is what I appreciate about you. You understand faster then the other two brothers... Well apparently, Lewis isn't a brother anymore. He is a Princess for an entire day so, stay silent especially in front of the Princess." She winked at him as he nodded back with a finger at the front of his mouth to gesture being silent.

"Come on Aefia... Seriously? Just a small piece for me?" A few minutes later, the silver haired 'sister' came back with the last piece, or more precisely, the last fragment. "But what are you talking about? I want to get along and speak about it too." He added while stuffing his mouth with the chocolate cake, which was already half done by the time he had come back.

"Balancing cake while walking on heels is painful... And stressful." Then, he climbed onto the bed beside Henry, putting the kid in the middle. "Seriously?! Are you back at the same video game?! Pull something else out! Something like–"

"Hell nah! You think I am stupid?!" Aefia shouted while snatching the laptop away with a stern face.

"What?! I thought you like horror!"

"In front of a kid?!"

They both exchanged a stare at the other. With every passing minute of silence feeling like a war is about to rage.

Her own fingers reached towards the touchpad and closed the tab that allowed to download the application onto the kid's device. Then, she cleared history for the search and let go of her hand wrapped against their little brother's eyes. "For now... Let's just watch a movie. How is that?" Finally, she asked while picking up her plate of unfinished cake and watched Henry pull out the download list.

"Darn... I never even got the chance to ever play it!" Lewis spoke while folding his arms in front of him as Aefia pulled out her own phone and handed it over to him.

"Then play it... But don't let him see anything." She added while watching the intro to the kid's movie about two false clown fishes and a small blue fish.

Lewis's face finally brightened up. With a satisfaction at his face, he kissed the side of her head and went over to flick open the screen of her phone. "Wait what is the password?" He asked while dropping his smile when he realized neither the facial biometrics nor the fingertips were going to work.

Her face had seemed to have changed structure due to the short hair and her fingers were occupied with the fork and plate. "Five December." She spoke with a muffled voice.

"Darn... If you were counting your age right now... You would have been another nine months older." He answered while laying further back onto the bed and tapping on her screen rapidly, already inside a boss fight as soon as he entered the game interface. Being sixteen gigabytes RAM, it was just the blink of an eye to open huge applications like that.

"Wait a second... How the hell do you know that is my birthday?!"

"Almost everyone does it at some points of their lives."

"Sheesh!"

In the meantime, George came in, with sweat forming at his forehead. "I took enough sandal punishments for an year. But I can't do anything since the magic will last for another hour at least." He spoke while looking at the three siblings staring at him from whatever they were busy entertaining themselves with. "But you both seem to be alright with it."

As soon as the words left his mouth, Henry paused the screen on his laptop and stood up while shoving his device away from his face and abruptly standing up on the bed which shoke the entire mattress like Earthquake. Without a single word, he picked out the strawberry from Aefia's fork in a swift and fast motion and held it above his head as if to shoot it. That was exactly when her teeth rattled against themselves as she bit down hard on the silver fork. "Ow!" She spoke while holding her jaw.

"Don't move otherwise I will catapult this red, juicy strawberry at your face!" The kid shouted as both the siblings stood to their knees on the bed and held the kid back. "Henry!" They both shouted in unison.

Aefia suffered, while still holding the side of her jaw and speaking through gritted teeth. "Lewis! Why did you just eat it?!"

Holding onto the kid's arm, he chomped down on the chocolate covered strawberry without hesitation and watched their sister's anger filled, fave. "Sorry... It's the most I can do after you left me such a small size and preserved such a huge size for yourself." With a mumbled voice, he watched her turn around and prepare to throw the glass plate onto the floor.

"For just one day! Let me live with peace you two!" George shouted from the doorway as she held the plate on top of her head with tear jerking frustruation. "I will get you a whole table full of chocolate covered strawberries if you don't break that plate on the ground. You only got a haircut... Not a full personality change."

"Nah... You did give them a personality change." Henry spoke while leaping back down on the mattress with full force. "Lewis is definatley a princess at this point." He pointed at his brother. "I mean... Princesses get a better hair treatment then the rest of the family...?" The middle brother shrugged while pulling off the top hat and turning halfway to show the hair pin at his ponytail.

George sighed with an expression somewhere between disgust and shock. Then finally turning back around to walk away. "Anyway Aefia... The Count is already here for your information."
