"Welcome to Sea and Land Home!"
Amidst the greetings, Kaito walked through the main entrance, and a wave of cold air washed over him. The door seemed to be the boundary between hell and heaven.
Following the signs, Kaito went directly to the Marine Sales Area. This place was not much different from an aquarium. Various Water-type Pokémon resided in pools and tanks, creating a dreamlike environment. Seaking swayed its silky tail, moving gracefully, accompanied by smaller Goldeen. The splendid Finneon were also a beautiful sight, swimming in schools.
A Sales Guide in a black suit proactively greeted him. Kaito was already handsome, but with his Viridian Power, Psychic Power, and Suicune's Blessing, his current appearance was even more striking, making him an exceptionally rare handsome man. (While queuing, he had used his Psychic to block someone secretly taking photos).
"Hello, are you here to purchase Pokémon?"
Kaito nodded slightly. "My surname is Kaito, no need for formalities." He briefly mentioned, "I run a farm."
The Sales Guide understood immediately and led Kaito to look at various Pokémon. For a farm, she would recommend valuable Pokémon.
"How about Bibarel? This batch of Bibarel is lively and full of energy. Bibarel is known for its diligence. It can diligently gnaw through branches and roots, and use tree trunks and mud to build dams to block rivers. Its fur has excellent waterproofing and is very warm, making it highly effective and able to fetch a good price."
Kaito looked over. He saw many brown Bibarel busy building dams. They were mult-functional Pokémon, offering great value for money. Kaito had a special affection for this type of Pokémon.
"I'll buy all dozen of these, then let's look at other Pokémon."
The Sales Guide was startled at first, then quickly nodded. How lucky! She had met a generous customer!
Walking forward, the Sales Guide pointed to a pond. "What do you think of Veluza Pokémon? They shed excess flesh to lighten themselves before attacking prey. This excess flesh is mild in flavor but very delicious, making it an excellent ingredient for seafood dishes."
Kaito's mouth twitched slightly as he watched the purple figures. These Pokémon are quite disgusting. "Forget about raising Veluza; I don't really like this Pokémon. Do you sell Veluza's excess flesh here? I'd like to buy some to take back."
Finally, Kaito's gaze fell upon a group of pink Pokémon. They were Slowpoke!
"Those Slowpoke look good."
The Sales Guide began her introduction. "You have excellent taste; the Slowpoke we raise are all of very good quality. Its senses are very dull; even if its tail is eaten, it doesn't feel pain and doesn't even notice a new tail has grown. Its long tail often breaks off, and these detached tails are an easily obtained yet very valuable food ingredient."
Kaito checked their information: Potential was mostly Excellent-tier, and there was even one with Elite-tier potential.This Slowpoke's aptitude was very good.
"I'll take this batch of Slowpoke too."
The Sales Guide had already grown accustomed to Kaito's way of speaking. Either he didn't buy, or he said, "I'll take them all." She enthusiastically led Kaito to the counter for the transaction.
The Water Stone Raffle
The Sales Guide, wearing a wide smile, handed over a golden raffle ticket. "Since you spent a considerable amount, you can participate in the advanced raffle, which has even more generous prizes."
Holding the raffle ticket, Kaito went to the designated raffle area. Currently, there was no one at the golden stall.
"Welcome, welcome. Please hand me your golden raffle ticket, then turn this handle." The staff member took the ticket.
Kaito twisted the handle. He held his breath slightly and used his Psychic Power to vaguely sense the movement of the small balls inside. He focused on a golden-yellow ball, applying pressure to make it sink.
A few breaths later, Thump. A shimmering golden ball dropped out.
The staff member's eyes widened, then he picked up the bell and announced loudly: "First prize! The first prize has appeared! Congratulations to this customer for winning the first prize: a Water Stone!"
At the staff member's announcement, many people gathered to watch. Kaito himself was a bit stunned. He hadn't expected the first prize to be a Water Stone. Sea and Land Home is quite generous.
Kaito reacted quickly and put away the Water Stone. He had to leave before more and more onlookers gathered.
Identity Revealed
In a flash, Kaito slipped out the main entrance, then hailed a taxi to the Pokémon Center to verify his identity.
Entering the private room, the receptionist was skeptical when Kaito stated: "I want to verify my identity information and then apply to own my own territory." (Only individuals who possessed a Certificate of Honor and had made significant contributions to the country were qualified to acquire private territory.)
The receptionist took Kaito's identification to verify it. Before long, Kaito's detailed information appeared on the computer screen.
Just looking at it for the first time, the receptionist felt a little breathless: The owner of the PokéTube account "i am not a master"! She had always assumed the Master was an old expert over fifty, but he was a handsome guy who looked much younger than her.
She quickly composed herself, but the subsequent information made her even more dumbfounded: An Honorary Master certified by the Dragon Country Trainer Association. Dr. Kaito (Lin Feng), certified by the National Research Institute. He had published a paper, discovering a new form of Eevee — Leafeon.
He was both the Master and that Doctor?!
The receptionist's pupils constricted. She realized that the top trending topic was about to change again! These two recently highly popular experts are actually the same person! And he is even only eighteen years old!
"Master, you, you, you…" the receptionist stammered.
Kaito felt a bit helpless. "You don't have to call me that; just call me normally."
"Okay… Mr. Kaito, your qualifications have been met, and you are permitted to own your own territory. You can choose whether or not to disclose your identity, but once you own a territory, your identity is likely to be exposed."
Kaito nodded. "Disclose it." He was waiting to seize this opportunity to gain a lot of popularity.
"Is there anything else?"
"Yes, there is one more very important thing," the receptionist said with a tense expression. "Can you give me an autograph?"
