I looked up and read the section sign. I heavily sighed. Finally, I found my section. I'd been searching for minutes. The school's huge. And finally, I'm here. Once I find the guy who put me in this section—he's dead meat. I was about to enter when a white-haired guy bumped into me. His cold eyes stared into mine, as if telling me I'd regret bumping into him. Ezeckyiel Hevis Escalante Hermoso—the serious psychopath. You'd never think that behind that quiet and handsome face hides someone who kills students at night. He has white hair, red eyes, and pale skin. He's so white—whiter than me, and whiter than any other guy I know. He immediately walked past me without even saying sorry.
"Tsk." I just sat down on the seat I chose.

"Okay, class dismissed! You can take your lunch now. Remember, before one o'clock you should be back here," said Ma'am.
"Yes, Ma'am." We all said goodbye to her as the others left. I looked at my reflection in the mirror. I'm back to my 15-year-old self. I just noticed it now—I've gone back to my young age.
I froze when I realized Hevis was staring seriously at me. I could see in the mirror that he was watching me. I quickly put my mirror back in my bag, slipped my notebook and pen inside, and walked toward the door. I wasn't even outside yet when Saichi suddenly appeared in front of me.
"Oh! You're here! I've been looking for you." I frowned at what he said. The whole class went silent, and I could feel everyone's eyes on us. "Come with me."
Before I could even respond, he pulled me away. What does he want from me? Don't tell me he's planning to kill me. Yellow hair and yellow eyes, gentle features. His complexion is normal, but he looks like a prince because of his extreme handsomeness. And since he's so kind, people call him the "White Prince." …but no one would ever guess that behind that angelic face, hides a devil in disguise. He's pretending to be an angel, but once you truly know him—you might never approach him again.
•••
We finally stopped running, and I realized he had brought me to the library. What are we doing here? Is he going to kill me here? That makes sense—nobody's here but the two of us.
"You're Luna, right?" he asked seriously. I glared at him. If he tries anything funny, I swear I'll punch him.
"Yes. What do you need from me?" I asked in a serious tone. He held my hand, making me freeze. He looked at me, eyes sparkling.
"Please help me court Sol." I frowned at what he said. Why did I just remember this now?
Saichi gets close to Luna just so he can court Sol. By the way, I have the same name as the villainess. Actually, there are two villains in this story— Me, who dies early. And the other one, who dies at the end of the story. Luna is Solana's only best friend—but in the end, she betrays Solana out of jealousy. Luna is her only friend, because no other girl wants to be close to her out of envy, and no man dares approach her because they're all afraid of the eight boys.
"I'm sorry, but I'm too busy," I said seriously.
"What are you even going to do? I can help you." He still didn't let go of my hand.
"I'm sorry, but I have to go—"
"Are you trying to avoid me because you don't want me to end up with Sol?" Two-faced jerk.
"I—"
"Luna! There you are, I've been looking for you," said Sol as she walked toward us.
Solana Aine Lara Silvestre, or Sol, is the protagonist of this story. Sadly, she also dies in the end. The boys kill her— Because they said it's better to kill her than let anyone else have her. She has white hair down to her knees and light blue eyes. She's fair-skinned, but I'm even paler, and taller too.
"Hi, Sol." She looked at Saichi, clearly uncomfortable. Sol wrapped her arm around mine.
"H-hi, Saichi. I heard you're transferring here," she said shyly. He nodded.
"I chose this school because I wanted to see you," he said excitedly. "Do you have free time later?"
I sighed. Kids these days—so ahead of their time.
"Alright, I'll leave you two alone—" But Sol quickly tightened her grip on my arm.
"We already have plans, Saichi. Maybe next time." Saichi froze at Sol's words and looked at me. Even though he was smiling, I could tell he wanted to kill me. I admit, I felt scared—but I couldn't let it show.
"It's okay, there's always next time."
After saying that, Saichi left, and Sol dragged me out. •••
"I'm sorry, Luna. You got dragged into that," she said softly.
"It's fine," I said coldly, eyes fixed straight ahead.
"You seem… different?" she asked curiously.
"Pardon?"
"Umm, it's nothing. It's just—you seem so serious today."
"Why? What was I like before?" I asked seriously.
"Umm… energetic," she said hesitantly. If only you knew the original plot. Luna's true personality was actually a bitch. She acted kind, innocent, and energetic—but if you really knew her, you'd be shocked. I don't want to be that energetic bitch. I just want to be myself.
"Oh really," I said coldly. She looked down sadly. If I distance myself from her, I'm sure life will be easier. "Sol."
"Yes?" she replied calmly. "I think we should stop being friends." She froze in place at my words.
"W-what?" she stammered. I looked at her coldly.
"I'm sorry, but… I don't want to be your friend anymore. It's better if we act like strangers."
