Looking at the options before me I felt a wave of giddiness wash over me.
Tracing over each word, the Equipment app caught my attention.
I focused on it—and it opened.

Seeing that only two abilities I have unlocked, my excitement for the future of the Fabic of Nothingness grew.
It was already super convenient, and now that I knew of its defensive properties, I was curious to test it out.
Maybe I will soon… if the opportunity arises.
I closed the Equipment app and looked at the other options.

I'll save the best for last.
After a moment of indecision, I went with the Map app.
When it opened, I saw a layout of my house—and a massive cosmic pond that appeared to sit in the front yard on the map, even though I knew it was much farther out.
I set a pin on the house and looked at the options.
[Home] ETA: 0 seconds. Gate: Available
I nodded my head.
Very convenient. Now I can return home anytime I want and… I don't think it cost anything to use Gate.
I noticed a search bar at the top of the map as well. Seems i can search and filter through different locations though out Evren.
I'll check that out later when I want to look into where I wanna go.
Closing the window I turned my attention back to the last few.

My breath caught.
Every hair on my body stood on end.
Something… looked at me.
No—noticed me.
The air grew heavy for a split second, like something vast had brushed against my existence. My chest tightened, my body going still without my permission.
And just as quickly as it came—
It was gone.
Like a passing glance.
"W-What was that?"
"Well, names have power, Vesper. So be careful who you speak about," my mother said calmly. "I can say 'Goo-Gle' because I'm a higher existence, so he won't notice. But you… you're technically only two days old."
She smiled faintly.
"You're not strong enough yet. Consider this a lesson—and remember it well."
I nodded, still somewhat shaken, and looked back at the screen to distract myself.
Honestly don't even feel like searching stuff up now. I'll check it out later.
