He yawned with his mouth wide open as he woke up.
"That was one creepy experience," he muttered, rubbing his eyes. "Well, I got out of it 'cause I'm me, lol."
Still half-asleep, he made breakfast in his small, cheap apartment.
"Shoot—I'm gonna be late for school!" he said, scarfing down his food and grabbing his bag.
When he reached class, he went straight to his seat. He was waiting for someone—the only person who actually cared about him.
"Hey, Loa!" he waved.
A girl with a kind heart and soft features walked over—burnet hair, green eyes, and pale skin. She was just a little shorter than him.
"You're early today, Erlen," she said curiously.
"Well, I woke up earl—wait…" He paused.
His eyes widened.
"My clock… it stopped working!" he said, laughing awkwardly. "Haha, guess that's why I thought I was late."
He tried to brush it off, but deep down he knew… even his phone's time had stopped.
Loa's face was turned away.
But suddenly, it snapped around—unnaturally fast, like an owl's head twisting.
Her voice turned distorted.
> "What do you say? Should we eat you first… or listen to your screams before we do?"
"AHHHHHHHH—!"
Erlen jolted awake, drenched in sweat. His heart pounded like thunder.
"Just a dream…" he whispered, clutching his chest.
But something felt wrong.
He could sense it.
There was someone… under his bed.
"Get out now," he warned coldly, "or you'll regret it."
A faceless girl crawled out—skin pale, mouth cut open, a hole through her stomach.
Erlen blinked.
"Yo… you're a donut? Hahaha—very funny, bitch."
He lunged forward, his Sixth Sense activating. The air around his fist shimmered—then crack!
Another hole tore through the ghost's torso.
"Bitch, I ain't no pushover."
He cornered her, ready for another strike. But her wounds began to heal—fast.
Erlen exhaled sharply. "Fine. Let's get serious."
He focused—his Sixth Sense flaring, predicting her next moves like flashes in his mind.
"A blow to my leg, huh?" he muttered.
He leapt, dodging her swipe.
"Take this!" He grabbed her arm mid-air and slammed her straight into the wall—leaving a huge hole behind.
"Aw man! There goes my deposit," he groaned.
When he looked back, she was gone. Vanished.
But pain hit him all at once—like every nerve screamed together.
"Ahhhhh! Damn—just how hard was her body?! Was she built in the 1600s or something?!"
He looked at his swollen hand. "Ugh… I'm so screwed."
