She looks at them like nothing happened.

Diego: "…We… saw bodies in the cellar… We rushed here because we were afraid he'd do something to you."

The girl takes out a plate.

And suddenly she transforms into a terrifying creature.

The horse takes off. The monsters transform one after another, running on two legs like people but looking nothing like humans otherwise. Their bodies are pitch black, mouths appear in strange places. Not all look the same—some have bark-like skin, some grow four arms. In any case, they run straight at them.

As she kicks, multiple ghosts burst out and hit the Vinka.

She touches the ground; it collapses. After the collapse, ghosts and chunks of stone erupt upward and smash the monsters away or even kill them.
Nacht: "Dark Breath… Raven Feathers!"
Raven feathers strike the Vinka in their cores.

Nacht: "Dark Slash!"
(Splatter!)
Diego fights with his wolf-like hands and feet.
Diego: "Gaaaaaaaah!"

He lifts it up, but suddenly the place starts shaking.

They turn around. The statues… are looking at them… with evil smiles.
Jack the Ripper: "Ugh…"
He lowers the book a bit; the statues slowly settle back. Then he raises it again—once more they stare with cruel grins.
Nacht: "…The book… looks like they're protecting it."
Jack the Ripper: "Fuck… I don't care. I want it already."
He pulls it completely free and the statues start to move.

Nacht: "Ghhh."
Kisa: "Oh no…"
Jack the Ripper: "I'd say… we run."
Diego: "Good idea… but how?"

He grabs something that looks like a spear with a long rope and hook.

He throws it up. The statues move faster and faster. Jack starts climbing.

Nacht: "Kisa, go."
Kisa: "Okay."
She takes his hand and climbs. Then Diego, then Nacht.
Jack the Ripper: "…Come on… come on…"
When Jack is almost at the top:
Jack the Ripper: "…Come on… ugh…"
The structure begins to shake.
Jack the Ripper: "The rope… is going to snap… ghh…"
He makes a decision.

He takes a knife and cuts the rope so that all three fall.
