"Okay class I have some important news to share with you all today" Iruka said at the beginning of class. We all looked to Iruka. He didn't have news this early unless it was necessary.
'I wonder what it'll be' I thought. Maybe it was the hokage? Maybe it was war? Maybe it was hiruzen revealing Naruto's jinchurriki status? It probably wasn't any of that though and my paranoid ass was just overthinking still
"What do you guys think the news will be?" Ino asked.
"Maybe we're all getting ramen!" Naruto said excitedly.
"Of course. Kukui?" Ino asked wanting my opinion.
"If it was really important he wouldn't let us talk about it. It's probably changing the curriculum, another student joining, or a new teacher coming to help iruka" I said. I had weighed the options in my head and it had to be one of the three.
"Probably. Iruka-sensei would just have told us to be quiet by now and have told us the news" Shikamaru said from behind us, cutting into our conversation.
"Aww but ramen sounds better" Naruto said disappointed.
Before anyone else could get in a word, Iruka cleared his throat. "Class today we are having a new student joining us. May you all welcome kin tsuchi" iruka said as soon as the girl entered the room.
'Fuck, fuck, fuck, fuck' I looked at my notebooks. Fun fact: I could read my notebooks from inside my inventory. I needed to recheck my notes. 'Otogakure shinobi. Team dosu member. Cocky. Loyal to orochimaru' I mentally read through my notes as kin gave her introduction. Apparently she was from a village in the land of fire. I didn't buy it for a second
"My dream is to become a powerful kunoichi" kin finished as I began to pay attention. She was some poor soul Orochimaru brainwashed. What the fuck was she doing here though? Spy on sasuke maybe? Get close to him and convince him to join oto? It can't be that simple though.
"Damn kukui you were right. I wonder if she likes ramen?" Naruto said. He was in a ramen lust phase again.
"Naruto shut up, everything isn't about ramen. Also I'm always right" I gloated. Hey, I need an ego boost every once in a while.
"Don't turn into kiba kukui," Ino scolded.
"Hey, I take offense to that. I'd rather be a trash can than kiba!" I playfully said. My face didn't convey my true thoughts.
"Oh shut up loser. You couldn't even be a trash can compared to me" Kiba shot back. I smiled and got ready to shoot back an insult.
"BE QUIET!" Iruka shouted. The entire class was gossiping about many things. Mainly about how kin would fit in.
Everyone immediately shut up. I learned quickly that if iruka used the big head jutsu you shut up. I looked around class. Kin took a seat in the top left corner which overlooked the entire class. I really thought that was suspicious. It should be obvious that something was up. Who sits in the corner on their first day?
"Alright now that everyone has politely quieted down. We can talk about the topic of the day. Summoning and well-known summons' ' Iruka said and this piqued the interest of many students. Mainly me, sasuke, shino, ino, kiba, and kin. Summoning would be really useful later down the road. Sage mode would be the best thing to come out of it for me but allies would be great too.
"Good I see some people are particularly interested in this subject. Now where shall we start..." Iruka then proceeded to explain summoning and its known history.
"Now there are multiple different summons in konoha's history. But the most well-known ones are the toads, slugs, and snakes" Iruka began. I saw kin perk up at the mention of snakes. Totally not incriminating.
"Who'd want to use those lame summons?" Naruto asked. Truth be told I thought they sucked as well but still they were damn strong
"Because. they are strong and valuable allies to have," I explained. They were valuable and I'd kill for the opportunity to get one of their contracts I really wanted something cooler to be honest.
"I guess. Sill they seem lame to me" Naruto said. I heard ino hum in agreement. Rare.
"The toads are by far the most well known of the three. Known for their..." Iruka kept droning on about the lecture of summons for another hour or so
"FINALLY" I heard naruto and kiba say as soon as iruka stopped. Honestly i had to agree with the fact they were boring. But the man was a great teacher. I'd give him that
"Alright. Everyone lets step outside" Iruka called out as almost everyone immediately ran outside like a bunch... well children they still were children.
We walked over to the lap area.
"Alright, class. We will start by running a single lap around this area" Iruka said. Kiba and naruto grinned excitedly as usual. I looked over at ino. she looked confident. I could see a few of the other boys in class talking to kin. Trying to look tough. For fucks sake we were ten not fifteen
I smiled to myself. Even with the troubling change of kin being here I still wouldn't let it ruin my day for now. I had a lap to run and an ass to metaphorically kick.

'Yep, everything looks good. I should be able to use running for just over 27 seconds' I thought. I had discovered that while sprinting was faster it still wasn't cost-effective yet. I could use running much longer but with less benefits. And with my constitution, I was confident enough that I could blitz past Kiba now. The little shit wouldn't know what happened until he choked on my dust.
Everyone got into position. Oddly enough kin was next to me. "HEY, LOSER. TRY NOT TO CHOKE ON MY DUST AGAIN" Kiba shouted, mirroring my thoughts. Ah yes, irony. I hadn't even provoked him today. He was just trying to be an asshole like usual.
"TRY NOT TO SUCK A DICK ASSHOLE " I shouted back and everyone laughed. even Sasuke giggled a bit which was fucking hilarious. By this time nobody used swear words much so they were still funny to people and the best
"Ouch" I felt an eraser hit the back of my head. It hurt a bit but not too much.
"WATCH YOU LANGUAGE" I heard Iruka shout.
"Sorry sensei. I was just warning kiba though" I said as Iruka sighed. He didn't get paid enough for this shit.
"Okay fine. Now everyone get ready. Three. Two. One. GO" Iruka said in a defeated tone. Like I said he didn't get paid enough for this shit.
We all began running and I noticed kin was keeping up with me. I was ahead of everyone bar kiba, naruto, and Sasuke. Although I shouldn't have been shocked. She already had training at this point in time. She grinned cockily. I hated cockyness. I began running faster. I didn't activate running yet though I wanted to wait until I nearly caught up with kiba. Kin looked somewhat shocked but she also began to go faster. Eventually surpassing me.
'Oh no not this shit, I worked hard for this and I'm not letting some spy take this from me' I thought activating running right away. I sped past her with a cocky grin of my own and I saw kiba. I eventually passed him. I flipped him off
"Oh fuck you kukui," He said to himself as i passed. Victory felt sweet. Oh, so sweet.
Then I noticed something. Kin was catching up to me and fast. I couldn't let her win. I deactivated running

Much more overpowered than running with a higher cost. It balances out though. I had the extra 10 percent speed boost that running didn't give to me.
I activated free running just as kin caught up to me. I sped past her. Kin just looked shocked, I liked my speed but it wasn't enough. I began to strain my legs greatly to keep my position. 'COME ON, COME ON, I CAN DO THIS. I WON'T LOSE TODAY' I thought. I worked hard to get here without much help. I'm not letting this be taken away from me. Then I finished

'Holy shit' I thought as I collapsed exhausted. As always Naruto was by my side right away.
"Kukui! You did it! You finally did it!" Naruto exclaimed. He was just as excited as I was. I had been training hard to get third. The game rewarded me and I was being treated like a champion.
"Im catching up to you next," I said. I damn well would if I had anything to say about it
"As if. You're only going to be second. I'm keeping it warm for ya" Naruto said. He would get past Sasuke eventually but for now, he was stuck in second.
"Don't worry you won't have to for long" I shot back. I looked around and saw ino cross the finish line. Seventh.
"Hey guys *huff* Congrats kukui" Ino said. She was clearly out of breath. She must have tried to give hinata a run for her money
"You look tired," I pointed out. I ignored the fact I was also tired
"You shouldn't be talking," Ino replied. I shouldn't but i still wanted too
"I want to though"
"Okay smart ass"
"Alright everyone, it's time to rest. Take a five-minute break then we can go on to shuriken jutsu" Iruka said as the final person passed the line. Me and ino sighed in relief.
We quickly went to our little area and began to rest and make small talk
"So kukui, you ready to miss again?" Ino mocked playfully.
"You two should prepare to be amazed. I'm hitting every one of them" Naruto boasted before I could speak up.
"Both of you really need to accept I'm going to score more than you," I said cockily. Sometimes I enjoyed being just a kid. Alas i knew i couldn't be "just a kid" Me being in the naruto world already fucks that and turns it into flames.
"Really? Haha good one"
Once the break we had was over we all lined up for shuriken jutsu.
Chouji got 12/20
Ino got 17/20
kiba got 15/20
And kin... 20 thunks were heard... Kin walked away with another cocky smile on her face. By this point it was clear. She was trying to cement herself as the queen bee. I already knew her game. But now it was my turn. I wouldn't let this bother me for now

I still hadn't leveled it to level seven yet as it was being a pain. Twelve hits was still good though.
I threw the shuriken and kunai quickly. Sixteen thunks were heard. I admired my work for a second before walking away.
Naruto managed to score 16/20 as well. So we promptly moved on to physical conditioning

It finally leveled up to level eight thankfully.
Then it was time for the taijutsu spars. I had been pretty good in my spar with Hinata. I could win a spar against most other opponents but damn didn't fighting Hinata suck.
"Kukui vs chouji" Iruka called out.
"Speed vs strength" I heard Shikamaru call out. "You can do this chouji. I believe in you" he said as chouji walked up to the circle.
Honestly, I was nervous. Chouji was a beast in hiding. He could ragdoll my weak ass around like a sack of potatoes. I needed to dodge, evade and get him out of the ring. That was how I was going to win. Honestly, I didn't expect to have the first spar of the day. My energy points hadn't recovered all the way yet so no stupid moves there.
"Do the seal of confrontation," Iruka ordered. We both did the seal.
"May we have a fun spar" I said. I wanted to have fun and actually not get my ass kicked.
"Yeah, hopefully," It seemed the akimichi didn't want to fight. Bummer honestly. It'd be fun to test my skills against another strong opponent
"Now begin" Iruka jumped back
I stared at chouji before running at him, readying a punch for the boy's sternum. He raised his arms to block as my fist made its way to the boy's arms. I shifted my stance and went for a kick in the sides instead. It connected due to the slow nature of the akimichi but he didn't get sent flying. He grabbed my leg and tried to punch me. Albeit slowly.
I ducked under his punch and punched the boy in the gut but he squeezed on my leg. Hard. I howled in pain and quickly jumped back. I inspected my leg. 'Out of socket for sure,' I thought based on how it felt at the moment.
My opponent suddenly began to charge at me.
I began to duck under a flurry of punches. I quickly jumped away from chouji with great effort and pain. This battle was more even now.
"That hurt. Good job" I praised.
"T-thanks?" It sounded more like a question than anything. Why would I thank someone for attacking me?
"No problem!" I rushed back towards chouji now ignoring my leg pain. Quickly I ducked and weaved through a few more punches and I tried to kick the boy in the stomach. Choji brought his arms up to block and he shifted his stance into one of attack. He tried to grab my good leg but I withdrew and instead tried to sweep out his legs. It failed. I jumped back before he could grab me. That would spell bad news
The akimichi heir began running toward me with surprising speed. I dodged and evaded each punch like it was a dance. The dance of death. By now I was leaning into my love for battle more than normal. I grabbed one of Chouji's arms mid-punch and blocked the other although it hurt like hell. I kneed Chouji's stomach and before he could do anything I uppercut his chin sending him flying. A grunt of pain could be heard as I sent him into the sky... But chouji reacted quickly by kicking me in the sternum. Hard. I skidded back away from the big-boned boy.
*Owwwww* I drew out. We both were knocked onto the ground.
Chouji wouldn't give up though. He rose from the ground looking somewhat beat up but not too bad. That uppercut hit differently, it seems as I did damage him. I noticed the akimichi getting up and quickly popped my leg back in place. I got up as well. I rushed toward chouji as he readied to block. I poised a punch for his face. He quickly brought up his arms to block. I canceled my attack and uppercut Chouji's stomach instead. Feinted.
I kicked chouji into the sky once more
"Well it's been fun but our little dance ends here" I smiled. This would be the first official spar I won. I jumped into the air after chouji. Before chouji could reply I kicked him out of the ring as safely as possible.
"Winner... kukui... " Iruka called out. It had been a wonderful first spar it seems.

'Holy motherfucking shit! This would shave weeks off of grinding and training... 6 taijutsu levels! and 3 dexterity and strength. That was fucking incredible' I thought before walking over to chouji and helping the boy up. Making sure to do the seal of reconciliation as well.
"Thanks, kukui. You kicked my ass" Chouji said tiredly. The spar must have taken a bit out of him
"Don't mention it, And if anything you kicked my ass thoroughly too. Good spar" I praised. I had fun so it was a total win in my eyes. "Hopefully we spar again!" I exclaimed before Shikamaru came to take chouji away.
"Good job man. You gave him a damn good run for his money" I heard the nara praise. I smiled Shikamaru and Chouji's friendship was so wholesome
"Hey guys I'm back!" I said as soon as I reached naruto and ino.
"Good fight kukui! You and chouji kicked ass" Naruto praised and I smiled. I was getting plenty of compliments today, that's for sure.
"Yeah, It must have been a close fight. You look like crap" Ino teasingly said
"Sakura vs. kin" Iruka called out next.
"Yeah thanks ino. Now bets on the next fight?" I asked, pulling a hat out of nowhere. 'inventory'
"How'd you do that?" Naruto asked, amazed.
"Magic. Now bets?" I asked once more, putting the hat away.
"I don't know. As much as I want to say sakura. I don't know enough about kin to see if sakura would win or not" Ino said sadly. I pat her back. Losing friendships sucked big time.
"Sakura-chan will win for sure! She is one of the best in class after all" Naruto said." Oh how nieve...
"I don't know either. But kin is far faster so we will have to wait and see" I said. Now that my opinion was said we could watch and see.
Sakura rushed towards kin with a punch that was easily blocked by kin. Said girl retaliated by punching Sakura in the gut. Hard
"And match" I called. Ino could only nod and naruto didn't speak,
The rest of the fight was just Sakura being toyed with by the stronger girl. Punches dodged, blocked, Or hell even used against sakura. Eventually kin just knocked her out of the ring.
After that class just ended for the day. Everyone went home.
I went back to my apartment half expecting Hiruzen to show up again. I had been on edge since his little visit a few days ago. I still wondered why he did show up when he did and not sooner or later. It was confusing. I looked around my apartment and noticed nothing off.
Now I had time to think about the day's events.

I grinned like a fucking idiot. Everything was above 10 now. Although my constitution was overleveled compared to the others. I would need to fix that soon. Although my energy points went up a little bit. by 32 points which was odd. Either way, I was happy.

This was blatantly overpowered. It seems the gamer system was now being great to me. I fucking loved it though. I wonder what I'd get for getting first place? That had to have been good. Now onto some less than good news. Kin tsuchi. One of Orochimaru's sound genin and apparently a spy now.
Did anyone think to background check her? I'm beginning to think Konoha is incompetent... although with the pranks me and naruto(and surprisingly sometimes ino) pull off why am I surprised they let a spy in? *Sigh* I just hoped they'd be somewhat competent. Maybe after her display of skill today Hiruzen will get suspicious. With that little trick, I told him about he might have more time to get his head out of Danzo's ass and actually do something. Actually, where was Danzo anyways? Plotting another genocide? At this point shit has hit the fan already. Canon is now officially fucked over with the mix of yet another person. Said person might be a spy.
'Okay kukui calm down. Go tend to your plants' I told myself before I got too angry. With the fact that kin was here, it meant other things could happen. For all I know Obito could show up in class as a special ed student... Although I would be laughing my ass off at the sight. Tobi was in fact a good boy
But I still didn't know what else would be changed. That was the issue at hand. Also, the fact I was starting to rise among the ranks of the academy in seemingly just over two months also had to be garnering attention. People could start to get the wrong ideas.
For now, though, I need to be prepared for any other change I notice. Also, I need to be prepared just in case someone wants me for some odd reason. Damn me and my fast improvement rate. I smiled though. This was reality not a video game. Challenges are to be expected.

I proceeded to dive neck-deep into medical books. The medical jutsu class started tomorrow and I didn't want to be unprepared.
