Chapter 1 - Chapter One: The World They Built

In a world of endless void — swirling black and white spirals without beginning or end — a boy who looked no older than thirteen drifted peacefully. Arms tucked behind his head, his snow-white hair flowed like silk as he snoozed in a fluffy white bunny pajama set.

This boy was Genesis — a being of unimaginable power... currently just vibing.

Not far away floated a girl in a black cat pajama set. A bright red lollipop hung lazily from her lips, her pitch-black hair shimmering faintly in the void's light. Her glowing eyes carried the weight of ancient wisdom, yet right now they were clouded with one clear emotion: boredom.

Her name... was Kail.

The Collision

Suddenly—

BUMP!

Genesis drifted straight into her back.

Kail (snapping, brows furrowing, cheeks puffing with irritation):

"Genesis!! Wake uppppp!"

Genesis (half-asleep, rubbing his eyes lazily):

"Huhhh... what is it, Kail?"

Kail (eyes narrowing, tail of her pajama flicking in annoyance):

"Watch where you're floating, dummy!"

Genesis (eyes still shut, grinning faintly):

"My bad... I'll make it up to you."

He floated closer, arms outstretched for a hug.

Kail (blushing instantly, waving her hands, voice stammering):

"G-Get awayyyyyyy!"

Too late. Genesis wrapped her in a sleepy hug anyway, resting his chin on her shoulder.

Genesis (smiling softly, voice gentle):

"You feel better now?"

Kail (crossing her arms, cheeks burning, muttering under her breath):

"D-Don't think a hug's gonna work on me..."

Genesis leaned back, his grin turning sly. With a flick of his fingers, a glowing lollipop spun into existence, shimmering with sugary light.

Genesis (teasing, smirk tugging at his lips):

"What about... candyyyyy~?"

Kail's eyes widened instantly, her whole aura shifting.

Kail (suddenly beaming, arms stretching toward it):

"Gimmeeeee!"

Genesis pulled the candy back just as her fingers reached.

Genesis (grinning smugly):

"Ahhh nope. Not until you say you're not mad at me~"

Instant regret.

Kail's cheerful glow snapped into black fury. Her body erupted with destructive energy that rippled across the void. Stars twisted and warped under her rage, spirals trembling like fragile glass.

Kail (furious, her voice shaking with flustered anger):

"WHO DO YOU THINK YOU ARERRRRE!?!?"

Genesis (panicking, waving his hands wildly):

"WAIT, WAIT, KAIL—YOU'RE GONNA DESTROY THIS VOID!"

Kail (yelling mid-blush, fists clenched tight):

"WHY WOULD I APOLOGIZE WHEN YOU KEEP MAKING ME MADDER!?"

Genesis (screaming, flailing as he shoved the candy at her):

"OKAY, OKAY YOU WINNNNNN!"

He jammed the lollipop into her mouth. Instantly, her aura fizzled out like smoke in the wind.

Kail's shoulders slumped. Her cheeks puffed, lips locked around the candy, as her destructive energy faded. Her face softened, though a faint pout lingered.

Genesis (exhaling, wiping his forehead dramatically):

"Phew... that was close."

Kail (eyes lowering, voice quieter, guilty):

"Sorry... I got mad at you."

Genesis (smiling gently, his tone sincere despite the teasing glint in his eye):

"No, it's okay. I'm sorry for teasing you... even though I love your reactions. They're cute."

Kail's entire face lit crimson. She whipped her head away.

Kail (stammering, fists clenched at her sides):

"I-I'm not c-cute! And stop saying weird stuff with that smile!"

Genesis (grinning, leaning closer to peek at her face):

"I'm sorry~"

Kail turned away even harder, trying to hide her embarrassment.

Kail (voice cracking, trembling as she points a finger at him):

"Stop staring at me like that, you dummy!"

Genesis tilted his head, genuinely confused.

Genesis (scratching his cheek, curious):

"Why are you so nervous? But anyway... you weren't that angry earlier. What really set you off?"

Kail turned back, lollipop between her lips, her bored look returning.

Kail (flat expression, tone blunt):

"This place is boring. We've been here for centuries with nothing to do... it's starting to feel sad. Can you create something interesting?"

Genesis (eyes lighting up, voice bubbling with excitement):

"Ahhhhh, I got it! Kail, I think I've got something that'll destroy your boredom... but I'm gonna need your help too."

Without hesitation, he reached out and grabbed her hand.

Kail's face instantly ignited crimson, her eyes going wide. Her lips parted, lollipop nearly falling from her mouth as her body stiffened like a statue. The blush spread across her cheeks, her entire expression a mix of shock and embarrassment.

Kail (jerking back, flustered, stammering loudly):

"W-What are you doing!?"

Her voice cracked, and she whipped her head away, but Genesis didn't let go.

Then it happened — their combined energy burst outward. Genesis glowed in radiant white, brilliant like the birth of a sun, while Kail was wrapped in a swirling black aura, like a void swallowing light. Together, their contrasting energies merged and swept across the endless spiral of nothingness.

In a single gesture, Genesis swiped his hand outward — and the infinite void transformed into a breathtaking sea of stars.

Kail's jaw dropped. Her eyes shimmered, reflecting the countless new lights. Her lollipop slipped from her lips, forgotten. For the first time in centuries, her expression was pure wonder — wide-eyed, breathless, childlike.

Genesis, just as stunned, had the same sparkle in his eyes. His usual teasing grin softened into something genuine as he watched the stars twinkle around them.

Genesis (voice soft, filled with shock and awe):

"This is... amazing. I didn't know we could create something this beautiful."

Kail (barely breathing, her voice trembling with excitement):

"Wowwwww... it's... awesome. Hey, Genesis, look at those glowing orbs of light!"

Her hands twitched like she wanted to reach for them.

Genesis (narrowing his eyes in curiosity, tilting his head):

"They look like... balls of energy."

He tugged her hand gently, pulling her closer toward one of the glowing orbs. Kail's blush deepened at the contact, her gaze darting between their joined hands and his calm smile.

When Genesis finally stretched his palm out to the orb, a sudden wave of heat seared his skin. His face twisted, teeth clenched as he jerked his hand back.

Genesis (hissing, eyes squeezed shut in pain):

"Ahhhhh! Dang, that's hotttttttt!"

Kail (panicked, rushing forward to grab his hand, her voice sharp with worry):

"Are you okay!? Heal it, you idiot!"

Her eyes darted over his palm, brows furrowed, lips pressed tight. She clutched his hand like she was afraid to let go.

Genesis (grinning sheepishly, pretending to wince, eyes half-lidded):

"Oh wait... I forgot. I can't feel pain. I was just joking~"

Kail froze. Relief flooded her face for an instant — then it twisted into fury. Her cheeks burned even redder, her lips pulling into a pout, brows scrunched together.

Kail (blushing, voice trembling with anger and embarrassment):

"How do you forget something like that, you dummy!?"

She stomped her foot against the void floor, aura sparking faintly.

But then, as quickly as her temper had flared, her expression faltered. Her voice dropped, eyes lowering to the side.

Kail (quietly, cheeks still warm, eyes soft):

"You... had me worried."

Genesis's grin melted into something warm and gentle. His gaze softened, and he leaned closer without teasing this time.

Genesis (smiling tenderly, voice low and sincere):

"I'm sorry~ But I just love seeing your reactions. So... what should we call these? You're good at naming things. You always name everything we have and do."

Kail blinked, taken aback by the sudden sincerity in his tone. Her heart skipped. But before she could respond, Genesis flinched.

Genesis (grimacing, panicked):

"OKAY, OKAY!"

He looked down — her fingers were crushing his hand with terrifying strength. His teeth gritted as his arm trembled under her grip.

Genesis (groaning in pain, whining):

"I can feel pain when it's YOU hurting meeee~ Forgive meeeeee!"

Kail (face exploding red, shouting at the top of her lungs):

"STOP TEASING MEEEEEEEEE!"

She yanked her hand back, crossing her arms and puffing her cheeks out, turning her face away to hide how flustered she was.

But after a moment, her eyes softened again. She turned back to the glowing orb, her lips curling upward in inspiration.

Kail (pointing, her voice brimming with excitement and certainty):

"I GOT IT! Let's call it a Star. And this whole world of stars... let's call it a Universe."

Her eyes shone with pride as if she'd just solved the greatest puzzle in existence.

Genesis (eyes wide, impressed, his grin stretching):

"You're amazing, Kail. Soooo smart."

Kail floated upside down, still chewing, then slowly leaned forward. Her lips glistened slightly as she licked them hungrily, eyes narrowing in playful demand.

Kail (leaning forward, voice sultry but bratty):

"More candy."

Genesis laughed, shaking his head, shoulders bouncing as he chuckled.

Genesis (snickering, wagging a finger at her):

"Ohhh, that explains it. You're only this good at naming things because of all the sugar rushing to your brain."

With a flick of his wrist, a shimmering bag of gummy worms appeared. Kail's face lit up instantly. She snatched the bag out of his hand so quickly it almost disappeared in a blur. Without hesitation, she tore it open and began stuffing her mouth full, cheeks puffing up adorably as she chewed.

Kail (mouth full, muffled, cheeks red from overstuffing):

"Um... probably. My brain just works better when I eat candy you make."

Genesis blinked, then his eyes widened with sudden inspiration. He snapped his fingers, aura sparking faintly.

Genesis (snapping his fingers, grinning, voice bursting with excitement):

"Waitttt! I've got another idea! Why don't we create our own world, full of perfect people who'll live in eternal peace?"

Kail stopped chewing mid-bite, her eyes half-lidded as she tapped her chin thoughtfully.

Kail (tapping her chin, voice thoughtful, brows furrowed in thought):

"Okay, I'll see it out. Get to creating, Genesis... but wait. Shouldn't we give the people a place to live? Like... a home world or something?"

Genesis's head jerked up, his entire face lighting up in realization.

Genesis (snapping his fingers again, eyes glowing):

"Great idea! Let me make something where they can all live in eternal peace and harmony."

He stretched his hand forward, white aura spilling off his body like a radiant flame. In the center of the void, a massive star roared to life, glowing so bright it bathed them both in golden light. With a sweeping motion of his left hand, eight enormous rocks spun into existence, orbiting around the star. One pulsed faintly with the first traces of life energy.

Genesis (grinning proudly, his chest puffed out):

"Boom! There you have it, Kail! A place where the people can live forever in peace and harmony."

Kail kicked back lazily, floating upside down, still chewing gummy worms. Her cheeks were puffed like a squirrel's as she grinned.

Kail (beaming, voice muffled but full of pride):

"It's amazing! Let's call it a Solar System. And that big star in the center... let's call it a Sun."

Genesis's jaw dropped slightly, then he burst into laughter.

Genesis (eyes wide, laughing in awe, pointing at her):

"You're upside down, stuffing your face, and still coming up with perfect names! Our Solar System is awesome. Come on, Kail, let's get a closer look!"

Kail swallowed, then nodded eagerly.

Kail (smiling brightly, lollipop twirling in her hand):

"Sure. Let's go."

They drifted closer together, hand in hand, admiring their creation. But as they approached, the Solar System began to tremble. Cracks split the Sun's blazing surface. The planets splintered one by one. In seconds, the entire system collapsed like brittle glass.

Genesis (shocked, throwing his hands into his hair):

"What happened to our Solar System!?"

Kail puffed her cheeks, her lips curling into an adorable pout even as her voice cracked with frustration.

Kail (pouting, frustrated, stamping her foot against the void floor):

"You made it too small! It couldn't even handle our presence!"

Genesis scratched the back of his head, smiling awkwardly with his eyes half-closed in regret.

Genesis (sheepish, chuckling nervously):

"I didn't think that would happen... Alright, wait. Let me try something else. I'll create a universe the same way I made the Solar System."

His body shimmered with white aura. In his palm, a tiny, shimmering universe flickered into being — like a delicate bubble glowing with galaxies. He tossed it outward, and it expanded gracefully into the void.

Genesis (leaning forward, eyes sharp with curiosity):

"Let's test out my theory..."

Kail's mouth hung open slightly, her eyes sparkling like jewels as the newborn universe floated before them.

Kail (eyes wide, smiling softly in awe):

"That universe is... so beautiful."

Genesis reached for her hand again. Kail's face flared pink instantly, her body tensing as she whipped her head away.

Kail (snapping, flustered, eyes darting anywhere but him):

"Stop taking my hand without asking—it's embarrassing!"

Genesis laughed softly, rubbing the back of his neck.

Genesis (gentle laugh, voice warm and apologetic):

"Sorry~ I just needed your attention."

The two of them drifted closer to the newborn universe. But the moment their combined presence touched it—crack. It shattered instantly, folding in on itself like paper and disappearing in a burst of light.

Kail (clenching her fists, voice trembling with frustration, cheeks puffed):

"Can you stop destroying something so beautiful!?"

Genesis glanced at her sideways, lips curling into a sly smirk, his tone teasing.

Genesis (teasing, smirk widening):

"You know... I'm not the only one who destroys beautiful things."

Her whole face lit up red. Her lips trembled as she stomped her foot, aura flickering.

Kail (furious, flustered, shouting, face burning):

"SHUT UP! Something so beautiful shouldn't be destroyed!"

Genesis lifted his hands quickly in surrender, expression softening.

Genesis (apologetic, smiling nervously):

"Sorry, sorry. But I had to test it out. And now... I've got an even better idea."

Kail narrowed her eyes, still wary but curious.

Kail (squinting, voice low, cautious):

"...What is it? And don't make it beautiful just to destroy it again, or I don't want to see it."

Genesis's grin returned, confident and mischievous.

Genesis (grinning confidently, aura flaring faintly):

"I'll try not to~ Hear me out. What if... we make a super-sized orb? The outside looks like a giant shell, strong enough to withstand anything. Inside, it's infinite. A realm that can hold life—even with us around."

Kail's eyes lit up instantly, her earlier anger vanishing as inspiration struck.

Kail (pointing upward, eyes bright, inspired tone):

"Then let's call the people inside... Primordial Beings. Perfect humans. And those giant orbs you're talking about... we'll call them Planets."

Genesis clapped his hands together like an excited child, eyes sparkling.

Genesis (clapping, voice bubbling with amazement):

"Niceeee, Kail! Perfect humans who can't feel pain or suffering, immortal like us. And 'Planets'? I love it. Plus, with infinite space inside, they won't break just because of our power. Genius!"

Kail tilted her head, chewing another gummy worm as a smug grin crossed her face.

Kail (snapping her fingers, sly smile):

"Wait. We should also make a way to measure time... to know how long something's passed. Like days."

Genesis's eyes sparkled again, nodding quickly, his grin stretching wider.

Genesis (snapping, eager tone):

"Ohhh, makes sense! Ummmm... let's make seven days. But... I can't think of what to name them though..."

Kail leaned forward slowly, extending her hand expectantly, her expression smug and mischievous.

Kail (smirking, demanding):

"Make me some candyyyyy first."

Genesis (laughing, already conjuring something new):

"Ohhh, I see. You want another sugar rush. Alright—here's my new creation!"

With a playful flick of his wrist, Genesis summoned a glowing bag of sour gummy bears. He tossed them toward Kail, who snatched them midair like a predator catching prey. Without hesitation, she tore the bag open and started devouring them, cheeks puffing as her eyes lit up with another sugar-fueled rush.

Kail (speaking at lightning speed, words tumbling out, brain running at 500 miles per hour):

"Okkkkkkkkk! Let's call those seven days... Saturday, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday!"

Genesis's jaw dropped. He clapped so hard his palms cracked like thunder in the void.

Genesis (eyes sparkling, voice booming with disbelief):

"HOW. HOW DO YOU NAME THINGS SO GOOD?? These sound AMAZING!"

Kail floated upside down, legs kicking lazily, still chewing as she smirked.

Kail (muffled through her stuffed cheeks, smug but playful):

"It's the sugarrrr. You think I'm joking, but I name everything better with a gummy in my mouth."

Genesis's aura sparked faintly as determination flashed in his eyes.

Genesis (voice sharp, energy flaring):

"Alright. Now let's create the humans."

Kail nodded, her cheeks full of gummies, eyes twinkling as she puffed them like a chipmunk.

Kail (nodding quickly, words muffled but confident):

"Rightttttt."

Genesis extended his hand, his body wrapped in glowing white aura. With one sweeping motion, a brand-new realm ripped into existence. Inside it, "perfect humans" wandered aimlessly. They looked plain—normal—but their eyes were hollow, their movements robotic, their souls absent.

Genesis (smiling proudly at first, satisfied):

"Look, Kail. We did it. A world of perfection."

Kail's playful expression faded. Her eyes narrowed slightly, her thoughts quiet and heavy.

Kail (thinking to herself, gaze sharp but uneasy):

"Wait... something's off this time. But maybe perfection is what we need. I'll let it play out."

Genesis floated back, grinning as if he hadn't noticed.

Genesis (grinning, clapping his hands together):

"Now, Kail. Let's wait and see what happens."

Kail forced a smile, her determination showing in her eyes.

Kail (smiling back, nodding firmly):

"Yeah. Let's wait a year and see how they turn out."

Genesis tilted his head, pouting dramatically.

Genesis (whining, eyes wide and confused):

"Wait—hold on. You can't just make up new names out of nowhere without me! That's not fair! I thought we were a team... What even is a 'year,' anyway?"

Kail chuckled softly, though her cheeks flushed as she explained.

Kail (apologetic but cheeky, pointing at him with her lollipop):

"Sorryyyy~ But a year is when 365 days pass. That's 52 weeks in one year. You get it now?"

Genesis's whole face lit up, his pout vanishing in an instant.

Genesis (eyes sparkling, hands clenched in excitement):

"I get itttttt! You're so smart, Kaillll!"

Kail straightened, her face red but her chin raised proudly.

Kail (blushing but proud, smiling softly):

"Thank you."

—365 days later—

The two of them hovered over the realm, their expressions no longer joyful. Their smiles were gone.

Genesis (voice heavy, shoulders slumped in disappointment):

"This is sad... heartbreaking. They've just stood there for 365 dayssss. Not moving. Not speaking. Nothing."

Kail's arms crossed over her chest, her face serious as her eyes hardened.

Kail (serious, voice calm but firm):

"They have no clue what's going on. They haven't even said a single word to each other. This proves my theory: perfection leads to stagnation."

Genesis's head dropped, his eyes drooping as guilt flickered across his face.

Genesis (sad, almost pouting):

"Yeah... you're right. But why didn't you tell me your idea sooner? I thought we were a teammmm. Teammates share ideas."

Kail's stern expression softened. She lowered her arms, guilt flickering in her eyes.

Kail (soft, guilty tone):

"Sorry again. I didn't want to bring your hopes down. But... here. Let's give them something new. A word we'll call... Emotions."

Genesis tilted his head, floating upside down, his curiosity plain.

Genesis (curious, lips quirking in wonder):

"Emotions? What does that mean, Kail?"

Kail tapped her lip, her sugar rush clearly fading, her tone quieter.

Kail (thinking carefully, speaking slowly):

"Emotions are what we have. The feelings inside us."

Genesis's eyes widened as realization struck.

Genesis (swinging upside down, voice full of wonder):

"Ohhhhh! I get it! The humans don't have emotions—that's why they feel so empty. So this... this is the type of emotion you have..."

He drifted close, leaned in without hesitation, and pressed a soft kiss to her cheek.

Kail's entire face exploded red like a blazing ember. She froze midair, stiff as stone, her lollipop slipping dangerously from her lips.

Genesis (grinning slyly, teasing tone):

"Ahhhh. That's the emotion you feel. It's called Love."

Kail stammered, her whole body trembling as she pointed a shaky finger at him.

Kail (flustered, voice cracking):

"T-That's not true! W-Wait—how do you even know that word!?"

Genesis leaned back with a soft smile, his tone playful and light.

Genesis (smiling, voice sing-song):

"Oh, I read your spirit when I kissed you. You liked it~"

Kail's face turned crimson. She clenched her fists, aura sparking.

Kail (furious, embarrassed, shouting):

"SHUT UPPPPP! YOU'RE WRONG!"

Genesis laughed, twirling backward in midair.

Genesis (laughing, carefree):

"Yeah, sureee~ Now, back to our failed world. Since perfection isn't the answer... what else? Kail, you can destroy this realm and we'll restart."

Kail froze. Her hands trembled slightly as she floated closer. Her face was burning, but her eyes showed a rare spark of boldness.

Without warning, she leaned in and pressed her lips to his.

Genesis's eyes widened, his entire body going stiff. Kail quickly pulled away, turning her back to him, her face hotter than molten fire.

Kail (blushing furiously, voice shaky but proud, her hand brushing her lips):

"T-That's payback for earlier... And you had the same emotion I have. What was it called again?" She touched her finger to her lips. "Love."

Genesis froze in place, cheeks blazing red, his words stumbling.

Genesis (panicked, stammering, flustered):

"T-That was playing dirty! No fair, Kailllll!"

Kail burst into laughter, hiding her face with her hand, before turning her gaze back toward the lifeless human realm. Her aura flared black with destructive energy as she lifted her hand to erase it—

But Genesis quickly stopped her, his eyes narrowing with a new spark of thought.

Genesis (suddenly serious, eyes sharp with a new idea):

"Waitttt, Kail. I just thought of something. Why don't we give them a spirit — some type of energy — and then you can destroy them after?"

Kail tilted her head, confusion mixing with curiosity.

Kail (confused, brows furrowed):

"Why would you do that?"

Genesis's gaze fixed on the empty humans, his tone low but firm.

Genesis (serious, eyes narrowed):

"I want to understand emotions. What if I put a spirit inside one of them... a spirit that knows you're going to destroy them? What if I make it so the Human thinks the other Primordials are his friends? How powerful would he get trying to protect them?"

Kail's eyes widened, her earlier embarrassment fading into fascination.

Kail (smiling faintly, inspired tone):

"Yessss... That would let us know more about emotions. How would they feel? Wait—what should we call them? Humans or Primordial Beings?"

Genesis tapped his chin, thinking for a moment, before grinning.

Genesis (grinning, decisive):

"They mean the same thing, but 'Humans' is easier to say. Let's go with that. Come on, let's test this theory."

Kail floated beside him, her blush finally fading into a small smile.

Kail (inspired, tone soft but firm):

"Right."

Genesis and Kail descended into the Realm of Perfect Humans. Inside, it looked like a dead garden—trees withered, plants shriveled, grass brittle and gray. The sky above was a dull, lifeless void. An uneasy chill seeped into them both, like the whole place rejected life itself.

Genesis (shivering, rubbing his arms, muttering):

"Geezzzzz... It's cold. This whole place feels dead."

Kail (hugging herself, voice shaky, teeth chattering):

"C-Can we just get this o-o-over with already, please?"

They landed in a field of brittle grass and broken trees. Ahead, a man wandered aimlessly, wearing nothing but a rough vine cloth. His long brown hair fell over his lifeless eyes. His expression was blank—soulless.

Genesis (leaning forward, intrigued, eyes narrowing):

"Look, Kail. He's completely empty."

Kail stepped closer, waving her hand right in front of his face. He didn't blink, flinch, or even seem to notice.

Kail (pouting, raising her voice, annoyed):

"Heyyyyyyy! Can you seeeeee meeeeeee!?"

Genesis (grinning, amused by her frustration):

"Yeah, he's empty alright. Kail, let's test my theory nowwwww."

Kail huffed, walking back to him. She dropped onto a nearby rock, legs crossed, lollipop stick tapping against her lips.

Kail (tapping her chin, smug curiosity in her tone):

"So... when you give him a spirit, he's probably going to attack you, Genesis. Wait! Before you do that—make me some candy. Lots of it."

Genesis chuckled, flicking his wrist. A pile of chocolate bars shimmered into existence in his hand.

Genesis (smiling, teasing her with a playful tone):

"'Bout time you switched it up. A new creation of mine. You can name it once you taste it."

Kail eyed the bar skeptically, nose wrinkling.

Kail (raising an eyebrow, unimpressed at first):

"Hmmm... doesn't look appetizing at all. But... it smells good."

Genesis (frowning, urging her, voice soft but certain):

"Come on, Kail. Give it a try. You'll love it. I'd never give you something bad."

Her cheeks tinged pink. She looked away before answering.

Kail (blushing faintly, voice dropping soft):

"...I trust you. You've never given me anything I didn't like."

She took a cautious bite. Her eyes widened instantly, face flushing bright red.

Kail (blushing, savoring the taste, voice muffled with delight):

"It tastes sooooooo goooood! Let's call it... Chocolate. Keep making this from now on."

Genesis (smiling warmly, eyes softening):

"I'm glad you like it, Kail. That makes me happy. But now—back to the task. Let's give that man a spirit."

Kail smirked, her eyes glinting with playful mischief.

Kail (smirking, leaning forward):

"Let's play a game first, Genesis."

Genesis (confused, tilting his head, brows knitting):

"A game?"

Kail (grinning wider, her smirk sharpening):

"Since he's probably going to attack you—because he'll think he's protecting his people—let's make it fun."

Genesis (raising an eyebrow, skeptical but intrigued):

"Okay... what are the rules?"

Kail (resting her chin on her hand, smug smile spreading):

"He can't hit you for one minute. And you can't use any of your abilities for one minute."

Genesis (leaning closer, curious tone):

"Okay. And what happens if I lose?"

Kail (smirk widening, tone playful but cruel):

"You can't tease me for seven days straight."

Genesis's eyes nearly popped out of his head.

Genesis (panicking, voice cracking):

"WAIT KAIL! THAT'S NOT FAIR! That's like me saying you can't have candy for seven days straight—NO FARRRRR!"

Kail (laughing, smug, kicking her legs playfully as she nibbled chocolate):

"Well then, don't get hit. And don't use your abilities."

Genesis's face hardened. His playful grin shifted into determination.

Genesis (nodding sharply, aura flickering faintly around him):

"Fine. Then I'll play by your rules."

He stepped forward toward the empty man. Genesis raised his glowing hand, pressing it against the man's chest. His hand sank into emptiness, light pouring from his palm as he released a surge of spirit.

Genesis (eyes widening, whispering in awe):

"It actually worked..."

The man convulsed violently, his entire body trembling. A guttural scream tore from his throat as blue aura erupted around him.

The Man (screaming in agony):

"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!"

His body lifted into the air, shaking uncontrollably, before crashing back to the ground. His breaths came sharp, ragged, but then—his eyes snapped open. This time, they weren't empty. They were alive. He looked at Genesis... then at the other hollow humans. His fists clenched tight as resolve lit in his gaze.

The Man (roaring, voice filled with raw determination):

"You... you want to destroy us!? WHY!? I'll never let you hurt my friends and family! I'll stop you!"

Kail leaned forward, eyes glittering with intrigue.

Kail (excited, her voice full of interest):

"Wow, Genesis... your theory's starting to come true."

Genesis (smirking, eyes narrowing with fascination):

"Oh wow. Interesting. Very interesting indeed."

The man's aura shifted, flames of orange swallowing the blue. Winds tore through the realm, the ground shattering beneath him. Genesis shielded his face with his arm, still grinning.

Genesis (tone sharp, eyes locked on the man):

"What am I sensing...? His spirit feels like it's about to explode."

Kail (eyes glowing, voice breathless with awe):

"It feels like he's awakening to something very special."

The man roared. His aura detonated outward, ripping through the entire realm. Mountains cracked, trees split, the sky shook. Genesis drifted back lazily, while Kail raised a black Yin barrier, her expression calm but focused.

Genesis (floating, grin wide, tone amused):

"Dang... that was close."

Kail (inside her barrier, analyzing, voice steady):

"His energy exploded outward. What he just did—it spread out like a field of mines."

Genesis (hovering above, thinking aloud, eyes gleaming):

"So if he can turn his energy into mines... that means—"

Before he could finish, the man shot forward like a bullet, fist blazing with explosive power. He swung straight for Genesis's head.

Genesis tilted just enough. The fist exploded past his cheek, heat rushing across his face.

Genesis (grinning, voice sharp with excitement):

"Whoa-ho! That was too close!"

The man snarled, chasing him relentlessly, every punch detonating like artillery. Genesis floated backward with arms crossed, weaving through the strikes with mocking ease.

Genesis (cocky smirk, voice loud over the blasts):

"Since I made him perfect, that means he's already mastered his new abilities. This should be fun. I can only dodge... so let's see what you're really made of."

The man screamed again, throwing a crushing overhand. Genesis laughed as he tilted away. The missed strike detonated in a fiery shockwave.

Genesis (eyes widening, surprised laugh escaping):

"Uh ohhh."

He zipped away, vanishing and reappearing atop a massive mountain. His nose wrinkled as he scanned the terrain.

Genesis (disgusted, voice dripping with distaste):

"Ugh. Even this mountain's dead. This world sucks. Wait—what's that...?"

The ground rumbled violently beneath him.

Genesis (alarmed, shouting):

"He's trying to blow up the mountain!"

The Man (roaring furiously, voice booming like thunder):

"AHHHHHHH! TAKE THIS, YOU EVIL BOYYYYYY!"

The planet-sized mountain erupted in a storm of explosions. Genesis leapt upward—but the man was already there, right in his face.

Genesis (smiling, impressed, voice light):

"Dang. You're super fast, man."

The man screamed, unleashing a relentless barrage—two hundred punches and kicks in a blur, each trailing beams of explosive light. Genesis weaved through them all, laughter spilling out as if it were a game.

Genesis (laughing, dodging with ease):

"Wowww. You're fast too... but not faster than meee~"

The Man (roaring, voice cracking with emotion):

"AHHHHHH! I WILL PROTECT THEMMMMM!!!"

Genesis (eyes gleaming, voice curious even as he dodged):

"Hmmm. He's getting faster... so this emotion—'love'—it's really making him stronger. Amazing."

The man swung wildly. Genesis tripped him with a flick of his leg. The man hit the ground face-first.

Genesis (pointing and laughing, voice mocking):

"Haaaa! You fell face-first!"

The man pushed himself back up, snarling with fury.

Kail (still sitting on the rock, nibbling chocolate, voice sing-song):

"Genesis, you've got thirty seconds."

Genesis (dodging strikes, grinning slyly):

"Looks like I can still tease you, Kaillll~"

The man swung again. Genesis ducked, flipped, and suddenly balanced upside down on the man's shoulders, hands planted like it was effortless.

The Man (angry, voice trembling with desperation):

"I WILL DESTROY YOU AND PROTECT MY PEOPLE!"

His entire body erupted in a massive explosion. Genesis launched himself off just in time, flipping twelve times in the air before nearly fumbling his landing.

Genesis (calling out to Kail, smug grin plastered across his face):

"Seeeee? I told you I can do twelve backflips!"

Kail (laughing, eyes sparkling, her voice teasing):

"You didn't even stick the landing, you clumsy fool."

Smoke rolled across the battlefield, and through it the man's glowing eyes burned, his body staggering forward as his aura blazed brighter than ever.

The Man (furious, voice cracking with desperation):

"Why... WHY DO YOU WANT TO DESTROY US!? ANSWER MEEE!"

Genesis (calm, smiling, voice casual like he's bored):

"Oh, don't worry. We're destroying you to make you better. How about this—I'll keep you in mind and remake you stronger."

Kail (calling out, chewing chocolate, tone teasing):

"Ohhh, by the way, Genesis—pause the timer. You're not even fighting back. And make this fight more interesting, please. Show me that unmatched skill you brag about."

Genesis (snapping his head toward her, face twisting in shock):

"You're changing the rules mid-game!? THAT'S CHEATINGGGGG! And I don't like hurting my own creations—it hurts my soul!"

Kail (smirking, tilting her head, eyes glowing playfully as she put on her cutest face):

"Pleeeeease~"

Genesis (groaning, cheeks turning pink, muttering):

"Fine... you win."

The man's body suddenly erupted in blazing red spirit energy. The ground cracked, explosions rippling out beneath his feet. His frame burned like a living bomb as he screamed.

The Man (roaring, veins bulging in fury):

"IT'S NOT YOUR DECISION WHAT LIVES OR DIES! THAT'S FOR US TO DECIDE!"

Genesis (rolling his eyes, sarcastic, voice dripping with mockery):

"Dude, it kinda is—I'm the one who created you in the first place. Oh, wait... your body's wrapped in explosive energy. If I touch you, I'll blow myself up. Ahhh, no problem~"

The Man (angry, determined, charging with reckless abandon):

"LEAVE OUR WORLD ALONEEEE!"

He hurled a right overhand. Genesis slipped left with casual grace and countered instantly. His left hand shot across the man's jaw—devastating, clean, faster than light itself. Faster than time. The impact erupted the man's face, but Genesis's hand came back spotless.

The Man (staggering back, confused, spitting blood and sparks):

"H-how!? I'm covered in explosive energy. Your hand should've blown apart!"

Genesis (smirking, bouncing lightly on his toes like a boxer):

"Come and find out what I'm doing~"

Kail (eyes dilated, sugar rush blazing, instantly piecing it together):

"Ohhh, I see! Genesis, you're punching so fast the explosions can't even keep up. They're detonating late! Smart. Now you're making this fun for me to watch. Beyond light, beyond time, beyond space—he won't be able to keep up with you!"

Genesis (still hopping side-to-side, lips tightening in unease):

"Kail, this feels wrongggg. I don't like hitting him. It feels like torture."

Kail (flat tone, arms crossed, face blank):

"Why does it matter? He can't feel pain. And you can't kill your own creation."

Genesis (blinking, brows shooting up, muttering to himself):

"Oh, wait... you're right. I forgot about that."

Kail (facepalming, dragging her hand down her face, muttering):

"You idiot."

The man screamed, his aura detonating like a chain of bombs. His palm glowed a violent red-orange as he thrust it forward.

The Man (roaring with everything in him):

"ETERNAL EXPLOSION!!!"

The blast ripped across half the infinite realm. The ground cracked like glass, skies splitting apart. Kail's barrier held firm, swallowing the firestorm, her hair whipping violently in the wind. Genesis, however, was already gone—vanishing to the man's blind side.

The Man (spinning wildly, eyes wide in shock):

"W-what!?"

Genesis (smiling calmly, arms loose at his sides):

"You'll have to be faster than that if you want to hit me."

Kail (analyzing through narrowed eyes, casually biting into chocolate):

"Ohhh... Genesis vanished at the perfect distance—just outside his reach. His beam starts right at his hand, and with those long arms, Genesis slipped right into the blind spot."

Genesis reappeared in a flash, his fist already driving into the man's face. Another crushing left hand detonated his skull, the force rattling the realm. The man skidded, sparks flying as he caught himself, panting heavily.

Genesis (grinning, bouncing like a boxer again):

"How do you like that? Kail calls this fighting style 'Boxing.' Packs one deadly punch, doesn't it?"

The man shrieked, launching himself skyward. His legs coiled before he came down with a dropkick wrapped in explosive energy.

Genesis smirked, eyes sharp. His left hand snapped up—so fast it looked lazy—and swatted the kick aside. The explosion detonated seconds late in empty air.

The man was wide open.

Genesis stepped in, twisted his hips, and slammed a universe-shaking left hook across his jaw. The man's face erupted again, his body launching across the battlefield before he crashed into the ground.

Kail (watching, smirking as her eyes flickered with interest):

"Wow... his explosion is still going. It's like he's rewinding time to keep it alive. Funny. But it won't work on Genesis. We're the ones who made time—we aren't bound by it. Ohhh... the timer's up. Should I tell him...?"

Genesis soared higher, aura flaring. The man groaned below, body twitching, but Genesis dropped like a meteor, his left leg driving into the man's stomach. The man's torso detonated in another blast, but Genesis was already airborne again.

The Man (furious, thrusting his hands outward):

"ETERNAL BOMBSHELLS!!!"

Six massive orbs of explosive spirit energy ripped into the sky, trailing Genesis wherever he moved.

Genesis (eyes wide, darting between mountains, muttering fast):

"Oh wow! They're following me! Okay, let's see about this one."

He bounded off a mountain peak, then another, the orbs swarming behind him like predators.

Genesis (noticing, grinning cockily mid-dash):

"Okkkk, your control's good. You're steering them with your hands. That means... if you can't see me, you can't track me. Let's test it."

He blurred. His body flickered like static. Then—gone. He moved so fast he broke time and space, vanishing completely.

The orbs erupted, exploding violently again and again, endlessly rewinding into new detonations. But Genesis wasn't there.

He reappeared casually behind the man, hands stuffed in the pockets of his bunny hoodie, smirk plastered on his face.

Kail (shouting, cheeks puffed with a lollipop, voice echoing):

"Genesis! The timerrrr is up—I forgot to tell you that!"

Genesis (snapping his head to her, face twisting in outrage):

"WHAT!? How are you not gonna tell me that!? That's CHEATING!!!"

Kail (shrugging, carefree, lollipop bobbing between her lips):

"I forgot. Sorryyyyy~ Oh, and watch out—he's changing up his attack."

The man roared, his fist slamming into the ground.

The Man (screaming, voice breaking the sky):

"ERUPTION!!!"

The earth split open beneath Genesis, lava and fire roaring upward. Genesis sighed, rolling his neck like it was nothing.

Genesis (muttering to himself, tone dry):

"Well, this should be fun. But wait—before we continue..."

Genesis snapped his fingers. The world froze. Time itself stopped mid-detonation—flames, smoke, and rubble suspended like glass shards in the air. Only Kail remained unaffected, lounging inside her barrier, lazily sucking on her lollipop.

Kail (deadpan, side-eyeing him):

"Stopping time? Playing dirty, as usual."

Genesis strolled in casually, like he had all the time in the world—because he did. Without hesitation, he plucked the lollipop straight from Kail's mouth.

Kail (eyes flying wide, face turning crimson, choking on her words):

"Heyyyyy! That's mine! What are you doing!?"

Genesis popped it into his mouth with a smirk, savoring the sweetness.

Genesis (smiling slyly, voice teasing):

"Mmmm. Not bad. Guess that means I get to tease you all I want for these seven days~"

Kail (face exploding red, stuttering uncontrollably):

"Wh-wh-what are you doing!? Y-you can't do thatttttt!"

Genesis chuckled, pulling the lollipop out and holding it back toward her.

Genesis (soft, playful, grin tugging at his lips):

"Oh, sorry. Here you go~"

Kail's hands trembled as she took it back, staring at the candy like it was cursed.

Kail (muttering, cheeks blazing):

"Y-your mouth... was on this."

Genesis turned, walking away with his hands in his hoodie pocket, smirk plastered across his face.

Genesis (casual, teasing, voice smooth):

"What's the problem? We've kissed before."

Kail (screaming, voice cracking, face hotter than fire):

"STOP SAYING SUCH EMBARRASSING THINGS SO NORMALLY!"

Before Genesis could tease her again, his eyes narrowed. His smirk faded into curiosity.

Genesis (observing, quiet, intrigued):

"Something's different... he's shaking. Is this... a new emotion?"

The man's knees buckled as he glared at Genesis. Sweat poured down his face, his body trembling as though every nerve was screaming.

Kail (leaning forward, eyes sharp, lollipop half-out of her mouth):

"Ohhh, I see it too. The second you flared your power, he realized how dangerous you are. That terror crawling through him... I'm calling it fear."

The Man (roaring, veins bursting across his arms):

"AHHHHHHHHHHH!"

His body split into seven blazing clones, each baring their teeth like rabid beasts. They circled Genesis, hands glowing with unstable destruction.

Clones (in unison, voices echoing):

"EVERLASTING MINEFIELD!"

The sky ruptured. Two billion explosive blasts erupted at once, swallowing Genesis whole, the world itself trembling under the pressure.

Genesis only smiled. His calm eyes glimmered as he raised his hand. Snap.

The explosions unraveled instantly, dissolving into delicate blue butterflies that fluttered through the smoke-filled sky, glowing softly.

Genesis (grinning proudly, pointing at them):

"Look, Kail! Aren't these butterflies amazing?"

Kail (watching, deadpan, though the corner of her mouth betrayed the smallest twitch):

"...You're ridiculous."

The man's rage spiked. He blurred behind Genesis, his hand glowing like a miniature sun ready to detonate. Blood trickled from his gums as his teeth clenched. He slammed forward—

Genesis turned effortlessly, faster than light, faster than thought. His hand closed calmly around the attack, crushing it until the blazing orb shrank... into a basketball.

Genesis (dribbling it casually, smirk spreading wide):

"Wowww. Your movements are slowing down. Is it because you're scared of my power? Oh wait—what did Kail call this again? Basketball? Heh. I love basketball."

The Man (screaming, eyes bloodshot, spit flying):

"AHHHHHH! YOU WON'T SURVIVE THIS!"

He launched himself into the sky, aura raging like a storm. In seconds, twenty-nine massive orbs materialized above him, each the size of a universe.

The Man (desperate, voice raw with fury and tears):

"FINAL EXPLOSIONNNNNN!"

The orbs plummeted like meteors. Kail's eyes widened as she braced her barrier, one orb colliding against it in a flash so bright it nearly blinded her. Even so, her blush refused to fade as she clutched her lollipop tighter.

Kail (muttering under her breath, face red as fire):

"Ughhh... I can't get that indirect kiss out of my headdd..."

Genesis grinned, spinning the basketball on one finger.

Genesis (playful, sing-song tone):

"Let's play ballllll~"

He dashed forward, weaving between the colossal orbs like a dancer moving to rhythm. Each explosion detonated behind him, yet he never lost his flow—dribbling, flipping, weaving. Twelve orbs burst in his wake, but the ball never left his hands.

The Man (jaw dropping, voice cracking in disbelief):

"H-HOW!?"

Genesis (eyes blazing, voice confident):

"Okay~ let's switch it up. Time to finish this."

He leapt high, the basketball glowing brighter before morphing into a gleaming soccer ball.

Genesis (boyish grin spreading wide):

"Soccer's Kail's favorite game. Let's see how it works as a finisher—Haaaaaa!"

He swung his leg. The ball vanished.

A heartbeat later—BOOM. BOOM. BOOM!

Every single orb detonated in perfect rhythm, the sky painted like a firework parade. The final strike smashed into the man, erasing him in a flood of white light.

Genesis landed gracefully, dusting off his pajamas like nothing happened. He didn't glance back at the reforming body. His eyes were already on Kail—still upside down, still flushed red, chewing on her lollipop with unfocused eyes.

Kail (thinking, flustered, cheeks hot):

"I don't hate it when he does stuff like that... actually... I love it. But... it's sooo embarrassing. Why does it feel good in my headdd..."

Genesis (calling out, teasing with a wide grin):

"Heyyyyy Kaillllll~ I said I'm done now. You can destroy this realm. Or... were you still thinking about that kiss~?"

Kail (exploding, face beet red, voice cracking as she screamed):

"SHUT UPPPPPPP!"

She vanished in a flash, escaping the embarrassment.

Genesis sighed, pressing his palm to his forehead, though his lips curved into a faint smile.

Genesis (muttering, exasperated):

"There she goes again..."

He flickered out of the realm, reappearing instantly at her side. Kail immediately latched onto his hand, squeezing so tight that veins popped in his arm.

Genesis (groaning, wincing in pain):

"O-OKAY KAILLLL! THAT'S TOO TIGHTTTTTT!"

Kail (face burning, shouting to cover her embarrassment):

"BE QUIET!"

The two began to glow—Genesis in blinding white, Kail in overwhelming black. Their auras spiraled together as Kail thrust her palm outward. A beam of destruction swallowed the entire failed realm, erasing it like it never existed.

When the light faded, Kail's shoulders slumped. Her face softened with guilt, her voice dropping.

Kail (voice low, distressed):

"Ffff... that was needed."

Genesis rubbed his hand, shaking it out with a small grin.

Genesis (teasing, smiling faintly):

"Could you maybe loosen your grip next time, pleassssse?"

Kail (softly, cheeks pink, eyes averted):

"...Sorry, Gen."

Genesis (brushing it off, grinning warmly):

"It's fine. But now... what's our next move?"

Kail straightened, her blush still lingering, but her eyes sharpened into something serious.

Kail (thinking aloud, tone steady):

"Here's what we know: emotions give them life. With a spirit, they awaken to power through emotions. And perfection? It only leads to stagnation. No challenge means no growth."

Genesis's eyes lit up, a mischievous grin spreading slowly across his face. His fingers snapped together with excitement, the sound echoing in the empty void.

Genesis (voice bubbling with energy, eyes glowing):

"With everything we've learned... I've got it! What if we only make two Primordial Beings—one boy, one girl?"

Kail (raising an eyebrow, skeptical, arms folded):

"Why? Didn't we just agree perfection leads to stagnation?"

Genesis (leaning forward, his grin widening, tone eager):

"Nooo, not perfection. Guides. The boy will come from my brain—the creative side of me. The girl will come from your heart—you breathe life into things every time you name them. Together, they'll guide the others. They'll help us build a new world."

He paused, eyes shining brighter.

Genesis (smirking, playful):

"But what should their names be, Kail?"

Kail's stern look softened. For a moment, her gaze drifted into the stars they had made. Then her lips curved into the faintest smile.

Kail (voice calm, decisive):

"Adam and Eve. The boy will be Adam... and the girl, Eve."

Genesis's grin stretched from ear to ear. His whole face glowed with pride and joy, his excitement bubbling over as his aura flared faintly.

Genesis (beaming, voice ringing with enthusiasm):

"Adam and Eve... I love it! Let's get to creating them, Kaillllll~"

The two of them glowed side by side, their energies spiraling together in light and shadow. For the first time, they weren't just playing. They were about to shape the future.
