After the incident at the hospital, Woojin didn't stop checking on Jungtae.
He came early in the mornings. He waited outside Jungtae's house. After Jungtae told him that he won't avoid him anymore, Woojin became more clingier, and put on his caring side.
Jungtae didn't expect him to act like this, Woojin kept asking questions.
"Are you tired?"
"Did your back hurt today?"
"Did you eat enough?"
Jungtae answered most of them, but his replies grew shorter as the days passed.
During the last week at school before their summer break, they walked and spent time together like before.
From the outside, nothing looked different. They talked. The laughter they shared came back. But Woojin noticed it anyway.
Jungtae didn't lean close anymore.
He didn't linger after conversations.
He checked his phone more often.
