Chapter 343 - Chapter 343: The Chaos Ends

Fortunately, among the twenty Aurors, there were still two people who were neither blind nor insane—Scrimgeour and Kingsley.

Recognizing the figure atop the stone pillar, they hastily reprimanded the Aurors around them to lower their wands.

Having learned their lesson after being beaten black and blue by the little Demon Lord at the camp entrance—a confrontation that had cost Dawlish an entire arm—the Aurors behaved themselves this time.

The moment Scrimgeour and Kingsley called out, they eagerly cleared their eyes, desperately trying to distinguish the appearance of the young man wrapped inside the flaming magical fiend.

Dark blue Fiendfyre, short golden hair, heterochromia...

Heterochromia was hard to verify due to the distance and poor lighting, but the first two traits were more than enough to confirm the boy's identity.

Kyle glanced at Scrimgeour; he held a fairly positive view of this upright Head of the Auror Office, but that didn't mean he had to stay behind to cooperate with Scrimgeour's questioning and investigation.

As for Kingsley, even though the man was his Dad's subordinate, Kyle had no intention of paying him any mind either.

"Max, let's go," Kyle called out casually, jumping down from the stone pillar on his own and sauntering back toward his family's tent.

Facing the utterly indifferent Kyle, the Aurors surrounding the stone pillar in a circle did not dare utter a single word.

These twenty Aurors had already arrived near the camp a minute earlier.

Even though they had lowered their guard due to it being late at night and the Quidditch World Cup having concluded, their response speed after the commotion broke out in the camp was still noteworthy.

From the moment Kyle was awakened by the disturbance outside to his battle with the Death Eaters, and finally to the descent of Lightning Release: Kirin—the entire process seemed like a century to those Death Eaters who were unilaterally tormented, but in truth, only five or six minutes had passed.

Restricted by the Anti-Apparition barrier, the hastily arriving Aurors could only watch the battle inside the camp from a kilometer away.

Even so, they had witnessed that lightning Kirin, nearly three kilometers long, falling from the sky.

Having just recklessly burst into the camp via Apparition without a clear grasp of the situation, they simply hadn't known which wizard had cast such an earth-shattering spell.

Seeing Scrimgeour and Kingsley's humble demeanor now, everything clicked instantly.

Can't afford to provoke him, definitely can't afford to provoke him.

They still wanted to keep their small lives intact.

Thus, they consciously parted to make way. When Kyle passed beside them, they did not even dare breathe heavily, terrified that a slightly loud breath might anger this little Demon Lord.

Not long after Kyle left, the sounds of Apparition began crackling across the scorched earth of the camp once more.

Only after the Aurors acted as the vanguard to confirm the scene was safe did the Ministry of Magic officials make their "fashionably late" appearance.

When Kyle returned to his family's tents, a massive... well, let's temporarily call it a refugee camp, had already been erected beside their two structures.

After the commotion erupted, those unfortunate wizards had all fled frantically toward the Grindelwald family's tent, seeking protection from the White Demon Lord, Dumbledore.

Among this crowd, very few were actually injured by the Death Eaters.

After all, those Death Eaters acted viciously, basically opening with the Killing Curse (Avada Kedavra); hitting someone meant instant death, so there were no survivors left injured by them.

Instead, during their frantic escape, every single one of them had forgotten in their panic that they were wizards, trampling over each other and resulting in a vast number of casualties.

Hence, the appearance of this third tent.

Every single person here looked battered and disheveled, no different from refugees, making the title "refugee camp" well-deserved.

At this moment inside the refugee camp, the Saints were administering treatment to those unfortunate wizards wailing in pain.

The Saints under Grindelwald were truly talented individuals.

Those allowed to accompany Grindelwald to the Quidditch World Cup final were basically combat personnel.

It was precisely because they were combat personnel that their knowledge was fairly comprehensive.

After all, getting injured in battle was normal; they all possessed varying degrees of medical magical knowledge. Though not as specialized as professional Healers, treating these wizards injured in the stampede was an absolute breeze for them.

Glancing at the scene inside the refugee camp, Kyle continued walking.

Originally, he intended to head back to his own room first to check on Konan and Hermione, but as he passed the new tent built by his two old Dads, Grindelwald called him in.

Lifting the door curtain and stepping inside, Kyle found the entire Weasley and Diggory families, along with the father-son duo Sirius and Harry, as well as Cho Chang, all staying inside their tent.

It was a wise choice—there was no safer place in the entire camp than the Grindelwald family's tent.

All of them were completely unharmed. Although the tents of the Weasley and Diggory families were quite close to where the Death Eaters launched their attack, they suffered zero injuries thanks to the ferocious firepower of the other three "Father-Worrying" Guardians.

Still, fright was inevitable. Ginny was utterly terrified, currently hugging her mother's arm tightly while sitting silently in a corner without uttering a word.

The moment Kyle walked into the tent, the ambient chatter ceased, and everyone turned their eyes toward him.

George smacked his lips, breaking the sudden silence in the tent first.

"Isn't that lightning spell you cast at the end a bit too insane?"

Seemingly forgetting Dumbledore's presence, Fred grinned and chimed in, "With your current strength, Kyle, you're more than qualified to become the Third Dark Lord, aren't you?"

The moment he finished speaking, Fred realized the inappropriateness of his words and slammed his hands over his mouth.

Cautiously darting his eyes toward Dumbledore, Fred noticed that the kindly, amiable smile on Dumbledore's face had vanished. His heart instantly skipped a beat.

Oh crap.

What should I do if I accidentally offend the most powerful White Wizard in the world?

Waiting online, super urgent.

Mrs. Weasley dealt Fred a heavy thump on the head. Do you even know how to speak?!

With complete disregard for his White Demon Lord Dad's feelings, Kyle grinned. "Well, you guys can consider yourselves the henchmen of the Third Dark Lord now."

Hearing this, Dumbledore's face turned even darker.

If Grindelwald hadn't been present as well, he would have drawn the Elder Wand right then and there to restore peace and justice to the British wizarding world.

However, now was not the time to execute justice upon his own kin. Dumbledore adjusted his emotions slightly and asked the question everyone wanted to know most: "Do you know the identities of those people?"

"They should be Death Eaters," Kyle shrugged, spreading his hands. "You all saw the Dark Mark in the sky."

He made no effort to hide his disdain for the Death Eaters.

"To dare launch a terrorist attack with such terrible combat capability—only Voldemort's subordinates could pull off something like that."

What in the holy hell, "terrible combat capability"...

Mr. Weasley desperately wanted to describe to Kyle just how terrifying the Death Eaters truly were.

Yet before the words reached his throat, Mr. Weasley swallowed them back down.

When it came to terror, what existence in the entire European and American wizarding worlds could possibly compare to the figure standing right next to Dumbledore?
