Magnus walked through the castle corridors without any real destination in mind, his footsteps echoing hollowly against the stone.
The weight in his chest felt like it might crush him from the inside out. He had just come from Willow, from watching her make a decision that would destroy her, and there hadn't been a damn thing he could do to stop it.
She was going to let Dorian use her. Going to bear his child in secret while he played king with another woman. The thought made Magnus's hands clench into fists, his wolf snarling beneath his skin.
