Chapter 20 - Fan's Q&A and Dares: The Most Dangerous Game

---

Part 1: When Kris Delivers News, It's Never Quiet

BC Sol, Valt's Suite – Early Morning

Kris stood in the hallway, clutching a neat folder bursting with printouts, fan emails, and an official-looking memo from the WBBA. She'd been in PR and management for years, had navigated scandals, live TV disasters, and legendary blader egos. But she'd never managed… this.

She braced herself, knocked on the door to Valt's suite, and waited.

From inside, there was no answer.

She raised her hand to knock again, but paused. Through the door she heard muffled noises. Breathy, giggly, definitely not-for-public-consumption noises.

A soft, high-pitched moan ("Shu—!"), followed by Shu's low, rumbling laugh ("You like that?").

Kris's cheeks flamed. She covered her face with the fan mail folder, took a deep breath, and considered running away. This was her job. This was her job.

She knocked, louder.

Silence.

More kissing.

Then, finally, footsteps.

The door cracked open—barely—revealing a very disheveled Valt, blue hair sticking out in every direction, lips a little too red, shirt slightly rumpled.

"Uh… morning, Kris." He tried to sound normal. He failed.

Kris didn't even want to look past him, but she could see Shu lounging on the edge of the bed in a T-shirt that was definitely not his own, looking criminally pleased.

Kris cleared her throat and held out the folder as a shield. "Special delivery from the fans. And the WBBA. Joint live Q&A special. Tonight."

Shu perked up. "Oh? Is there a dare segment?"

Kris leveled a look at him. "Yes. It's… optional. But there are a lot of requests."

Valt, halfway to closing the door, whimpered. "Do I have to?"

Shu appeared beside him, arm around his waist, chin on his shoulder. "Of course. Our adoring fans want to see us."

Valt groaned. "Last time you did this, we trended worldwide for forty-eight hours."

Kris tried to keep her face neutral. "Don't destroy the WBBA's streaming servers. That's all I ask." She fled.

Part 2: Setup – "I Swear, Shu, If You Behave I'll Give You Chocolate"

BC Sol Studio – 7:00 PM

The interview set was larger this time, with two velvet chairs, soft lighting, WBBA and BC Sol banners, and a table stacked high with cards—questions, dares, and fan art. Studio crew bustled about, whispering bets.

Shu lounged in his chair, looking infuriatingly relaxed, legs crossed, wearing his red signature jacket and a black tee. Valt arrived moments later, hair extra-fluffy, eyes already wide with nervous anticipation, dressed in crisp blue.

Before the cameras rolled, Valt hissed, "Please don't do anything illegal on live TV."

Shu gave him an angelic look. "Would I ever?"

Valt: "Your definition of illegal is 'anything Valt can't handle in public.'"

Shu smirked. "Exactly."

Part 3: The Q&A Special—Live, Worldwide, and Out of Control

The host for the night—a bubbly WBBA media darling named Eva—opened the show with a smile wide enough to split her face.

"Welcome, Beyblade fans around the world, to the first ever Shu & Valt Q&A and Dare Special! Tonight, your favorite legends answer your questions, tackle your dares, and maybe—maybe—survive with their dignity intact!"

Valt muttered, "Not likely," and Shu just grinned.

The livestream was already exploding with comments, emojis, and hashtags. "#ShuValtQandA" was trending before Eva finished her intro.

---

Section 1: Fan Questions

Eva began, "Let's start easy. First, from @BladerQueen98: 'What was your first impression of each other?'"

Valt stammered. "Uh—he was intense. Really good at beyblade. A little scary, actually. But also… really kind."

Shu, staring at Valt: "He was sunshine. Blue hair, all smiles, never afraid to try again. I wanted to get closer from day one."

Valt hid behind his hand. "You're not supposed to say that out loud!"

Shu: "Why? It's true. The world should know you're adorable."

Eva: "Next! @Kurenai4Life asks: 'What do you love most about each other?'"

Valt (already blushing): "He always believes in me. Even when I don't believe in myself."

Shu: "I love the way he says my name when he's happy. Or mad. Or—"

Valt (shrieking): "SHU! Next question!"

---

Section 2: Fan Dares Begin

Eva beamed. "Okay, dares. Brace yourselves. First one: 'Shu, whisper something romantic in Valt's ear—live!'"

Shu didn't hesitate. He leaned in, lips brushing Valt's ear, and murmured low enough that the mic barely caught it: "You're everything I ever wanted, and if you keep blushing like that, I might have to carry you off camera."

Valt squeaked and nearly slid out of his chair.

"Shu! I said romantic, not illegal!"

Shu: "You can't prove anything."

---

Eva, grinning, pulled another card. "Valt, your dare: Call Shu by your cheesiest pet name."

Valt turned purple. "I—uh—Shu-bear?"

Shu: (eyes sparkling) "That's new. Do it again."

Valt (hands over face): "Never."

Shu: "You're so cute when you're embarrassed, baby."

Valt: "STOP CALLING ME BABY ON LIVE STREAM!"

---

Section 3: Spicy Dares—Chaos Escalates

Eva giggled. "This one's popular. 'Shu, kiss Valt anywhere you want. Bonus points if it's not his lips.'"

Shu, delighted, gently took Valt's hand, pressed a soft kiss to Valt's knuckles, then—because he was Shu—dipped down and kissed Valt's jaw, lingering.

Valt looked ready to burst into flames. "Shu, the world is watching!"

Shu, not moving: "Let them. I only have eyes for you."

The live comments:

> "THEY'RE SO SOFT HELP"

"I AM LIVING FOR THIS"

"VALT IS GOING TO PASS OUT"

---

Eva: "Next dare: 'Valt, look into Shu's eyes and say what you love about him—without looking away.'"

Valt, trapped, locked eyes with Shu. "I love how you always… make me feel safe. Even when you're a menace. And… how you always know what I need, even before I do."

Shu looked truly, genuinely touched.

Valt broke eye contact and immediately started fanning his face. "Okay, my turn's done!"

---

Section 4: Double Trouble—Fans Take the Wheel

Eva (gleeful): "Now a challenge for both: Each of you has to answer one question and do a dare. Loser—judged by the audience poll—has to do a super embarrassing dare!"

Question: "What's your favorite memory together?"

Valt: "That time we watched the stars on the Raging Bulls rooftop and he fell asleep on my shoulder." Shu: "The first time he let me hold his hand in public. He was shaking. I never wanted to let go."

The audience poll was close, but Valt's blushing meltdown earned him "loser" status.

Eva, cackling: "Valt, your super-dare: Recite a love poem to Shu. In the cheesiest voice possible."

Valt wanted the earth to swallow him whole. He grabbed a notecard, glared at Shu—who was already grinning—and began, voice high and dramatic:

> "Roses are red, Beyblades are blue, You're the best, Shu,

I guess I love you! (Now please stop embarrassing me on live TV!)"

Shu, absolutely delighted, clapped and promptly pulled Valt into a full, show-stealing hug.

Shu (low, only for Valt): "Best poem I've ever heard."

Valt: "Shut up, you menace."

Shu: "Love you too, Valt-bear."

Valt: "STOP INVENTING PET NAMES!"

---

Section 5: Lightning Round—Chaos Accelerates

"Who's more romantic?"

Shu: "Me. Valt just screams a lot."

Valt: "Hey! I can be romantic."

Shu: "Say 'I love you' without yelling then."

Valt: (whispers, blushing) "I love you."

Shu melts. The fandom explodes.

"Who's the jealous one?"

Both (in unison): "Shu."

Shu: "You're worth fighting for."

Valt: "That's not always a good thing on the battlefield."

Shu: "Only if someone else tries to touch you."

---

Part 4: The Internet's Reaction

Twitter trends:

#ShuValtQandA #ValtBear #ShuIsTheRealPrize #ShuValtDares #MyHeartCantTakeIt

Meme of the Night:

Shu holding up a blushing Valt like Simba in The Lion King, with the caption:

"When you win the Q&A and your prize is eternal embarrassment."

Group Chat:

Free: "I'm crying. I need a spin-off show."

Silas: "Valt's blushing could power a small city."

Lane: "Shu's a menace. Never change."

---

Aftermath: Valt's Meltdown and Shu's Revenge

The cameras finally went off. Valt, half-melted, slumped in his chair, still red and muttering.

Shu leaned in, lips brushing Valt's ear, voice wickedly low: "You did great, Valt-bear."

Valt glared, but there was no fire left. Only affection and exasperated, exhausted happiness.

"You're the worst, Shu. But I love you."

Shu's smile softened. "And you're mine."

They walked offstage hand in hand, the world still screaming for more—and Valt, despite everything, decided maybe a little embarrassment was worth being this loved.
