Ch 4 Chapter 4 – The First Siren Assault

The morning mist had barely lifted when the ocean began to tremble. Subtle at first, then violently, as if the sea itself were warning of an incoming storm. Alex hovered above the waves, Yamato X's armored form gleaming in the dim sunlight. Hundreds of shipgirls stood ready around the base, their eyes trained on him—their commander, their anchor.

"Status report," Alex demanded, scanning the HUD.

"Sirens detected," a voice from the carrier-class shipgirl reported. "Multiple fleets emerging from the rift. They're larger than predicted."

Alex narrowed his eyes. Larger… stronger… smarter. He flexed his armored hands. "Good. Time to test a few upgrades."

Activating Siren Integration Protocol, Yamato X pulsed with alien energy. Her turrets glimmered with violet-blue hues, her aircraft bays hummed with an unnatural resonance, and her submarine fins glowed as systems adapted for hybrid combat.

"Fleet, follow my lead," he commanded. "We're not just defending. We're integrating. Learn from their tech as we fight."

The first wave of Sirens surfaced, sleek and terrifying, their hulls humming with alien energy. Yamato X fired the opening salvo: energy cannons cutting through the water, artillery barrages launching in perfect coordination. Aircraft squadrons dove from carriers, striking Siren drones mid-air. Submarines struck silently from below, their torpedoes detonating in perfect synchronization.

Yet the Sirens adapted instantly, their shields shifting, their energy fields reconfiguring. Yamato X's system responded. Siren tech merged with her own, analyzing and countering enemy adaptations in real time.

"Integration complete," she murmured. "Let's show them why we're unstoppable."

With a sweep of her arm, the hybrid fleet transformed. Battleships gained energy-based cannons, carriers launched aircraft infused with Siren energy, and submarines moved with uncanny speed and stealth. Even the shipgirls who were purely human-tech began to channel Siren energy, creating hybrid units capable of devastating attacks.

The Sirens struck again, waves crashing and energy beams slicing through the water. But Yamato X was ready. She synchronized the fleet, every turret, every aircraft, every sub maneuvering in perfect harmony. A single, unstoppable pulse of energy surged, knocking several Siren ships backward.

Iron Man hovered nearby, awe-struck. "Okay… that's insane. The way she's absorbing and adapting their tech—it's like she's a living AI hybrid. This isn't a person; it's… it's a force of nature."

Alex smirked beneath his armored visor. "Force of nature, huh? I like that."

The Sirens regrouped, surging in greater numbers. Yamato X activated full hybrid mode, a radiant glow engulfing her entire form. Energy arcs connected her to every shipgirl, synchronizing their systems into one perfect network.

One pulse. One command. One fleet.

The ocean erupted. Energy beams, artillery shells, and torpedo strikes collided with the Sirens in a spectacular display of light, sound, and raw power. The first wave was obliterated. But Alex knew this was only the beginning.

"Fleet, prepare for wave two. And remember—we adapt, we learn, we dominate," Yamato X commanded.

From the horizon, shadows moved deeper in the rift. Bigger ships, stranger designs, more dangerous energy signatures. The multiverse was watching, and the true war had just begun.
