"Lord, I've made a new discovery!"
Just as Chu Hao finished cleansing the "unqualified" demon princes, Daimon—the failed fusion experiment of the Mind Sea Ascension Project—suddenly sent him a message.
Among the several plans Daimon had been testing, one special design intended to alter the structure of the Abyss had produced results.
When Chu Hao heard this, he paused for a moment in surprise.
After all, ever since taking Daimon—the derivative being of the Mind Sea—under his command, he had immediately assigned him several complex, abyssal-level research projects to simulate and test.
Each of those required massive amounts of data for verification.
But that was fine.
Because Daimon's vast computational power—comparable to a stellar computer—was precisely what set him apart from other abyssal entities.
With tens of billions of functioning brains, Daimon easily possessed the processing strength of a mid-level god—perhaps even approaching that of a high-tier deity.
That was why Chu Hao often left to him the problems he found too tedious to calculate personally, along with several redundant rules for him to analyze.
It was like having two computers—one for ordinary abyssal work, the other dedicated purely to computation.
And Daimon carried out his tasks with perfect diligence. In a remarkably short span of time, he had already generated multiple theoretical models and sent them for Chu Hao's approval.

"However, my Lord, I must ask you to stay your hand for a moment. The remaining soul fragments you hold could be used in this experiment."
At those words, Chu Hao halted immediately.
The tormented wails of the dying demon princes' remnants also stopped, hanging eerily in the air.
Fabuti, watching nearby, couldn't help feeling slightly disappointed that the screams had ended so soon.
"What does your proposal entail? Why do you need these soul fragments?" Chu Hao asked, directing his gaze toward the answer Daimon was transmitting.
Daimon replied with reverence.
"Great Lord, I have already transmitted the contents of this plan to the core of the Endless Abyss through your black mist. Please, see for yourself."
Moments later, within the depths of the Abyssal fog, a crystal-like object emerged—shimmering faintly like a fragment of dream.
This was a "Dream Crystal," a byproduct created when Nightmare Demons entered lower-dimensional realms.
Normally, if used directly, a Dream Crystal would trap its victim in an endless nightmare—one that only ended in death. No external force could awaken them.
However, after precise refinement and purification through special tools, a Dream Crystal could be altered into a rare luxury item that induced endless pleasant dreams.
Indeed, among abyssal creatures, this was one of the most coveted luxuries.
Many powerful demons exchanged part of their spoils for Dream Crystals, using them to relax between their endless slaughters.
Yet because Nightmare Demons were scarce—and few survived their expeditions into lower, idealistic dimensions (especially after Chu Hao sealed those dimensions)—Dream Crystals had become increasingly rare.
That changed once Daimon entered the Abyss.
After discovering that these crystals eased the mental pain in parts of his collective consciousness, Daimon began capturing and breeding Nightmare Demons in large numbers.
He threw them—like test subjects—into low-dimensional realms to cultivate Dream Crystals for him.
Under Daimon's mental protection, about twenty percent of the Nightmare Demons survived long enough to produce substantial quantities of crystals.
Thus, a strange, symbiotic relationship formed within his domain.
The Nightmares were farmed to supply Dream Crystals, while Daimon provided protection in return.
Both sides "benefited"… though the Nightmares might not have agreed with that assessment.
Still, the result was what mattered: by analyzing these Dream Crystals, Daimon learned to condense his computational processes into a crystallized form similar to them.
This innovation drastically improved his efficiency.
He could now store certain results as "mental data," freeing up vast processing power for new calculations.
Chu Hao touched the imitation Dream Crystal, and instantly, countless streams of computation flooded into his mind.
He brushed aside the unneeded, low-efficiency models until he reached the true result—Daimon's completed plan.
"A method to reduce internal demonic attrition… and make demons more adaptive to warfare?"
Chu Hao remembered assigning Daimon the task of finding a way to lessen internal losses among demons.
The Endless Abyss was too hostile an environment. Combined with the innate bloodlust of its creatures, it had become a vast battlefield.
Every native demon had to kill and devour others to evolve, which made their growth extremely resource-intensive.
In fact, the resources consumed to create one such demon could have produced many more powerful beings elsewhere.
Although Chu Hao still had abundant resources for now, he knew they would one day run out.
That was why he had tasked Daimon with solving this problem.
But he hadn't expected Daimon not only to solve it—but to enhance it with an additional "patch."
As Chu Hao opened the plan, an ocean of data poured into his mind.
He closed his eyes, verifying the details.
A few minutes later, he opened them again, astonished.
He asked only two questions—those that intrigued him the most.
"How did you conceive this plan… and how do you possess such advanced bio-design knowledge?"
Daimon's proposal was this:
He intended for Chu Hao to establish a massive, specialized plane at the outer edge of the Endless Abyss.
Within that plane, Chu Hao would breed a race of terrifying creatures—ones both hated by demons and designed to hate demons in return.
These beings would wage an eternal…
Blood War.
