Hadley took the shard from Conrad's hand and examined it closely. "This is good stuff. Where did you get it?"
"It fell off a weapon…" Conrad admitted, slightly embarrassed.
"Leave it to me. What kind of weapon do you want?"
Hadley's forging skills were among the finest in the world.
Conrad thought for a moment, then answered seriously. "Bullets."
"Are you sure?" Hadley frowned. A shard like this could be reforged into a legendary sword. Turning it into bullets was a waste.
"Use this material. Even if it's just for one."
He'd rather make the Imperial Sword fragment into a single-use round than anything else.
"…Let me give it a try."
Clover Kingdom — Wizard King's Palace
"You're not Julius… Who are you?"
Damnatio Kira lay on the ground, pale and restrained.
The youthful image of Julius Novachrono began to fade. His hair whitened again, his face hardened into the middle-aged man everyone knew—except the markings on his face and the aura around him were entirely different.
"I am the god of the new world." Lucius Zogratis smiled calmly.
But beneath that calm, he was panicking.

But before the plan could even begin, everything started unraveling.

Lucius crushed Damnatio's skull with a single hand and absorbed his soul into his grimoire.
"My lovely brothers and sisters… here I come."
He couldn't wait any longer. Once he absorbed his siblings' magic and Lucifero's power, he'd be able to create humans from nothing.
And he would be their God.
Lucius's body vanished in a flash as he made his way to the Spade Kingdom.
The Gate to the Underworld would open, and the new world would be born.
Meanwhile, taking advantage of the chaos in the capital, loyalist rebels of the Grinberryall royal family escaped the Spade Kingdom and crossed the treacherous demon zone.
Only one survived.
He collapsed at the Clover Kingdom's border, in Hage Village.
Sister Lily found the man and reported it immediately to the Magic Knights.
Yuno, who had just returned to the Golden Dawn headquarters, received the letter.
"Hage Village? Hand it to me."
Yuno read the letter carefully. He was now the Vice-Captain of the Golden Dawn.
After the royal capital rumors and the elf incident, Langris Vaude had challenged him for the position. Losing, Langris chose to travel the world instead.
"I'll take this mission."
Yuno set out immediately for Hage Village.
Moments after he left, a transformed Dante appeared above the Golden Dawn base.
"Who are you?!"
Golden Dawn members shouted as they saw a black silhouette in the sky.
"Absolute Gravity."
A massive pressure crushed the air. With a thunderous boom, the Golden Dawn headquarters was reduced to rubble in an instant.
"World Tree Magic!"
A great emerald tree burst from the earth. William didn't rush to fight Dante—instead, he dragged injured members out of the ruins to safety.
"Finally found it!" Joy flickered in Dante's eyes.
When he'd checked the Black Bulls' base, no one was there. So he'd turned to the Golden Dawn to seize World Tree Magic first.
He wouldn't waste any more time.
His demonic power erupted to the limit as he plummeted down, slamming into William with overwhelming gravity.
The Black Bulls — Beach Training Grounds
The Bulls were in the middle of intense training when Kahono and Kiato from the Undersea Temple appeared.
"Captain Yami, please help us," Kahono pleaded.
"That damn old man really knows how to find me extra work."
Yami Sukehiro picked his nose lazily and glanced at his team.
"Noelle, Finral, Vanessa—go."
"Yes!"
