Chapter 4 - Clash of Titans

Chapter 4: Clash of Titans

The city of gods trembled as Mack strode across the floating towers. Every step pulsed with energy that could crumble mountains. Divine figures descended, their forms towering and radiant, wielding powers that could erase worlds.

> "Mortal," a figure boomed, golden wings spreading wide, "you dare enter the city of Elyndra and claim a Worldshard?"

Mack's eyes glowed brighter than the twin suns. "I dare. I'm Mack. And I'm rewriting everything you thought you knew."

Without warning, the god lunged. Time seemed to slow as Mack's instincts and the System's calculations kicked in. He dodged, bent reality around him, and countered with a surge of golden energy that split the sky.

The god laughed, a sound that shook the heavens. "Impressive… but insufficient."

A blast of divine force collided with Mack's attack. Mountains shattered. Towers cracked. Magic and energy collided in a storm that distorted reality. Mack smiled, exhilarated.

Mack focused. The air itself bent to his will. He twisted space, opened fractures in the sky, and summoned shards of molten light. The god roared, attempting to crush him with a wave of pure divine energy.

Mack leapt through the storm, his body a blur of golden light. Every punch, every strike warped reality. With one final surge, he channeled all his System-enhanced power into a beam that pierced the god's defenses.

The god staggered, shocked. Mack stood tall, breathing heavily but unbroken. His aura blazed, casting shadows across the city.

> "This World… this reality… belongs to no one but me," Mack declared. "Not even you."

The god froze, then slowly retreated, acknowledging Mack's power. Elyndra had witnessed its first mortal who could challenge a god and survive.

Mack looked to the city, eyes burning with ambition. "If one god fell today, then tomorrow… they all will."
